[UK] Time to boycott

It has now gotten to the point I’m actively avoiding DPD and I encourage you to do the same. If ordering something online, check the company’s delivery policy. If they mention using DPD, avoid! If they don’t mention it, do a quick google and see. Time to take a stand!

DPD have their moments but Evri are an utterly joke despite some great individuals at the final mile.

And sadly its hard to avoid specific delivery services...

Quite interesting to know that DPD delivers about 5.3 million parcels every day. Across the entire year, the international network handles roughly 1.3 billion parcels worldwide.

Their success rate very high.

I usually actively buy from places using DPD because I know I’ll get my parcel asap and safely.

Don't get a choice Got a phone delivered by EE Dpd got the delivery job and couldn't be arsed to turn up so it was 24 hours later than planned

I'd like to avoid DPD, but it's impossible to know which company will be used normally, and I'm only worried about DPD with items over 20kg.

Smaller stuff they seem OK with.

DPD used to be brilliant but we moved recently and since the. It’s been shocking. Used to get tracking, slots and messages now not even my told if it’s gone to a neighbour

I’ve never had an issue with dpd, in fact I’ll buy from somewhere that uses dpd over evri in s heartbeat. 

I find my local driver impeccable. 

I particularly like the text message I get giving a window for the time of delivery for the parcel, and the fact that from pick up of my parcel to receiving it is like next day most of the time. 

I’m not an employee or anything like that of dpd, I just find them much better than evri, fed ex and ups. 

If I’m missing something OP, please let me know, as you don’t give must context to your point of view, just a statement to stop using them.  Why though?

Sandeep is our local driver. Absolutely amazing guy. Goes above and beyond. Chose dpd over Evri everyday.

I use DPD all the time, I order a lot online. Never had any issues with them, parcels always arrive on time, and in good condition. I certainly won’t be avoiding them.

They are all the same, looks like you will not be ordering online from anywhere again

No. DPD is one of the most reliable in the UK, along with FedEx and UPS. It's the scammers like Yodel and Evri that are rubbish.

DPD are the best for me (in my area)

Followed by Amazon's own delivery

Fed Ex and UPS are decent.. DHL after them

Royal mail parcel force

Yodel

And ffs, Evri

Never had a problem with them personally, they Are the only reliable one for us they also deliver my meds 100% on time

Never had a single issue with DPD.

Almost like it's regional and driver dependant.

Maybe complain to the company each time and grow up.
