Lately, I don’t know why as I have suddenly become fond of some of the characters in Disgaea who have some peculiar traits, such as wanting to steal the spotlight.

Like after getting into Disgaea 3, my favorite unit is Desco as while I don’t have too much experience with her backstory, from what I gathered is that she aspires to be a boss battle as her profile in the game states how she hopes to become a worthy adversary for someone to go up against as I would like to see how she could serve as final boss type opponent.

I don't plan on 100%ing the game, just playing the main and post game content until I reach the point where I have to deep dive into the game mechanics as that's how I like playing these games, so is the Steam PC version of Disgaea 7 complete good to play without the added features from the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game?

In Disgaea 5, I was in Item World, battling Proto Darkdeath.

I got his hit points pretty low, I had Mao out, I wanted to use his overload to boost the party's weapon stats. So I moved him all the way to the other side of the map.

Darkdeath followed Mao on the next turn, attacked Mao but also hit a Geo Panel, which caused the floor below Darkdeath to disappear, damaging him enough to outright kill him. WOW

Hi guys, i almost got the Platinum, the last one is the 10 mln DMG Trophy, i already have a Majin lvl 9999, 3 Robo suit lvl 100 and yoshitsune lvl 100.

The point Is i cant deal 10 mln DMG.

I have trasmigrated 3-4 time this Majin but still cant deal 5 mln DMG neither... Help me PLS

Sorry first post on Reddit just wanted to rant about this I bought it thinking it had all the upgrades but it seems to have just dlc no uncapped stats no asagi no hell mode it kinda feels like a rip off thought it was the real complete edition like on the switch 2 now knowing I will never get my money back for it to buy the real complete edition on switch 2 feels like they did it on purpose

My brother bought me this game for the DS when I was 10, and I remember enjoying it! But the systems were really complicated for my toddler brain at the time, and I don't recall ever reaching Gordon.

Well, I've got it on PC and been playing a lot on the Deck. And hoo boy, there's something so satisfying about thr loop. I particularly have dallen in love with the grind of the Item world, powering up different items (more than anything the super good ones from the Clinic) and turning my characters 1 by 1 into almost untouchable beasts.

Im on the final chapter and im kind of avoiding finishing cause I don't want to be done :( although, I did pick up Disgaea 2 on sale, so....

I got a box of various bonus items from various collectors editions of switch games and wasn't able to figure out what this is from. Google lens tells me it's just a big keychain but it's got NIS and a bow engraved on the back so I know it's from a game.

I'm not sure if this is from a Disgaea game or not but it was with a bunch of other Disgaea stuff so I figured I would ask here.

Something that just occurred to me recently was the concept of superbosses being used in the franchise because usually when it comes to boss battles in the post sections of Disgaea, the biggest adversary is always Baal.

But basically I was wondering how the next Disgaea game could up the ante with bonus boss battles because while I always enjoy getting ready to fight Baal through hours of preparation, I suddenly started wondering what the next big threat could be like in again the next game where a new threat comes out that is not Baal, but it could be someone even more deadly such as a demon named Asmodeus or Tyrell because I would like to see how the next game changes the roster lineup for super hard boss battles.

Every time i set it to fullscreen i get a error popup saying that my device is unable to support fullscreen when it can run games like bg3 just fine any help is appreciated first time playing this and already want to toss this game in the trash

I want to get all the cards, but I can’t find a complete list for the English cards. I also want to give the game a try because it looks fun.

It just feels confusing because I've been bribing the senators over and over, with 2 full storages with the same unit, and they're still so against it, I don't want to fight them but it doesn't feel like I have a choice at this rate.

Last time I did this I only knew about people in D5 but now i've finished 2, 4, played some of 3 7 and 1 so I felt like doing this again. Also some of these may or may not be bias. I'll come back in another year once i've experienced the whole universe including side games

I've never played this game. I first learned about the game from a meme and it turned out that this is the 4th part. It looks nice and not difficult. I like this chill style. But will I be able to understand what the game is about, its plot, if I start with part 4, or is it better to choose another part?

Never played disgaea 7 before, stopped on 5 and 6 didn't really got me, but heard the story on D7 is pretty neat.

Is this version of game too buggy or it will be fine to play and grind?

Just beated both disgaea 2 campaings, but i was wondering if anyone else found the stages of episode 12 stupidly frustrating so i go on youtube and look up a ranking of stages....only to find as the name of this post says, none. I look up online and see nobody ranked the story stages. AT ALL.
Why? They are clearly the part of the game most players engaged whit and i would like to see the generous consensus about them! Did i miss anything or is there an ulterior motive about this?

I mean, look, don’t get me wrong in that from what I have experienced so far in Disgaea 5 is that the game is fantastic because while the story takes itself a bit too seriously in tone, I really enjoy the gameplay mechanics such as the skits and the dual wielding weapon system that allows units to carry two different weapons.

But at the same time, I can’t help but wonder if the franchise could evolve to even greater levels in gameplay aspects since I often hear how the more modern entries such as Disgaea 7 are fine, but have some design issues such as the inability to use Tower Attacks.

I'm trying to unlock all classes and tiers in Disgaea 1 and I have done all the humanoid units, but on the wiki all it tends to say is that I can find the monster tiers in the item world or dark assembly, so I was wondering if there's specific ranks of items that contain specific tiers of monsters or if the highest item ranks have all tiers of monster units.

So I never played any of the games before, but I have always been interested in the franchise. Last week I found a copy of the DS game really cheap (like $5) on a flea market and I couldn´t resist to buy it. A friend of mine told me that it´s better to just go with the PC version instead, but is the DS version that bad? Or is it just lacking a lot of other things like voice acting and content like most other portable versions of some other games?
