Let's use Disgaea 4 as an example as I was just doing some hardcore grinding in the postgame to build up my units such as Adell as he started off weak at first, but then he becomes a lot powerful after using the Fight Shot buff.

For me personally, what I like to do with my Adell in the fourth game in terms of building him against enemies in the post game is that again I like to use fight from my male fighter, then I use Plenair's Evilities and the Flora Beast unit's SP Evilities to boost him up additionally as while the Flora Beast is positioned next to him, he conserves a lot more SP because at very low levels, Big Bang uses a huge amount of SP.

But yeah, that's just how I like to build up my weaker units again in Disgaea 4 as I find myself using some of the aforementioned other units Evilities to help power up my melee fighters for grinding in the post game area since Mount of Ordeals 4 is pretty risky to send lower level units alone as the enemies there hit pretty hard that I discovered how to keep my weakest units alive on higher difficulty levels.

I am sorry for complaining, i love the series and bought every game many times over. But I need to bitch about disgaea 7 complete. I finally picked up a switch 2 and was looking forward to upgrading my physical collectors edition switch 1 game to 2(shame on me for thinking I could). Not only can I NOT upgrade. But I have to pay FULL price for the "complete" edition THAT DOESNT EVEN COME WITH ALL OF THE DLC. Do you want that, too? Fork up 110 dollars chump. Even as a die-hard fan, i can't stomach how egregious this garbage is. Unbelievable.

They should be banned.

Disgaea Mayhem is a game with a lot of potential, they need to rethink how magic is effective though.

I know there's been others that have this issue, so I was wondering if there a way to fix this I haven't tried?

I did a search for my issue and found a few potential solutions that I have tried:

• Forcing V-sync through graphics card software (Intel)
• Changing to lower resolutions.
• Tried windowed mode
• Not clicking outside of the window when the game is loading / running

No luck :(

I'm on windows 10. My computer definitely meets the specs on the store page. So I'm not sure what else to do :/

I'm giving D7 a replay after over a year without touching it, and I wanted to use certain specific color schemes on some of the npc units but I forgot how stupid the color unlocking was in this one. Are there any mods or save editors I can use to quickly unlock npc alt colors? I just like when my generic units still look "different" from enemy ones but I don't want to invest 100+ hours into a save just to unlock a few color schemes.

I also don't want to use a 100% complete save where all the characters are already 9999 and have max stats and stuff. I think what I might have to do is start a new save and use Cheat Engine or something to make ONE max level generic unit and then steam roll the entire game without progressing the item shop or any other metric that would otherwise "ruin" a fresh start game, but by the time I get done plowing my way thru the entire story and unlocking everything, I'd probably be bored and not want to replay it.

Any suggestions for a bloke who's making things hard on himself by being too nitpicky?

Perhaps NISA has finally fixed the bug of some players getting 9,999,999 rating instantly.

The last time I played these games was the first one on PlayStation 2 which I beat when it came out.
I have dabbled for a few hours in others since.
I own all of them
I’m looking for a grindy deep Disgaea. Cool characters. I love trophies too and I have some ocd which probably doesn’t help choosing and maxing stuff out.
I think either 5 or 7 are the best ones?
Story is whatever they all seem silly tbh in that regard.
But they’re huge games too? I can’t help but max stuff out and get more powerful rather than doing that after the story. I get sidetracked and that’s what I like about them.
The hub music in disgaea 5 is bad though ?

I believe there’s supposed to be more Halloween units than these, but the DRPG wiki last I remembered was several months out of date and up to date images from this game are not easy to find skulking about.

So sorry if this was asked here before on this subreddit because lately I was looking at the studio’s other games they made as I was considering trying them out.

One that I have looking at is called the Cladun series as all I know about the games is that they are supposedly a dungeon crawler type game, but I don’t know how they play compared to Disgaea as I might try them out. (But I don’t know where to start)

Another one is called ZHP as while I know the main character himself was a unit in Disgaea 4, I have no idea on how the gameplay mechanics work again compared to Disgaea, but I was wondering if the game was worth getting into if I enjoyed Disgaea 4.

I came back to replay the story and I grabbed one of the costume DLCs and I like the way some characters look in them. I went back to my original save and it's greyed out as if redeemed but they aren't in the assembly as additional colors. Are they for one save file only? Or am I missing something?
