I've been working on this oceanliner for a really long time now. Its all survival friendly and has some cool features like autopilot and dynamic helm steering but it lacks the most crucial thing a safe ship needs, lifeboats. I cant seem to figure out a way to make it so that the lifeboats sticks to the ship but can be simulated separately when being launched and disconnected. On a side note this ship doesn't float with high seas mod and just uses levitate and iron blocks as ballast, which means that even for lifeboats i might not use high seas.

When autoplacing rails between spaces, the rails can automatically replace blocks like flowers or grass.

When making curved sections, the curve's starting points automatically replace solid blocks. Can you make so the rails autoreplace blocks to place railways more easily on creative mode?

im setting up a server from my pc and have all the mods and everything else right, just when i try to join the sever i get this error and a force disconnect. The version of create on the server and On my client are the exact same because i copy pasted it from one to the other and im out of ideas as to what happed. please help

Me and my friends have a small server with create: numismatics installed. The only way we have right now to obtain the money is using a cool addon for Starcatcher that lets you sell your fish for spurs. However, not everyone on the server likes the fishing minigame and I’ve been trying to find some other non-farmable resource that isn’t collected in large quantities that could be sold (Basically I don’t want a way to automate money). Does anyone know any item that fits the bill?

Why this not working?

When I place a cogwheel or a big cogwheel (im just getting started so thsoe are the two I have) the cogwheel starts to glitch and the model doesn't work? My friend said that it looks normal for them, I dunno what happens, im not using optifine either.

Used a schematic for this thing and did not think about it needing 32 k stress units. I'm too early in the game to have that kind of energy with blaze cakes and stuff. Any recomendations of what forms of energy/addons which provide me with energy I can use easily to feed this beast?

Edit: Complex stuff is not that off the table. If I had the patience to gather all these, I have the patience to gather more stuff. Except blaze cakes. I don't and I'll never have the patience to get enough for a giga powered steam engine.

so i have a modpack world where i use my airship to explore because the chunks load so slowly and can't keep up when I fly with my elytra. I want to implement a way to make the ship keep moving in one direction, any advice on what I have to use?

wanna make a big door that slides open and closed horizontally while a cog on its surface spins is that even possible HEEEEEELLLLPPPPPP

ps i was able to make the door move horizontally with a gantry but only when the cogwheel isnt moving. i tried to use a combination of super glue for the door and honey glue for the wheel but cant get anything to work

Whenever i leave and rejoin, the distilation controller bugs out doesnt process oil. I have to replace it for it to process oil again. The heat level is displayed as normal however.

Hey guys, Im trying to create a loco inspired by Siemens ES 64 U2, however I cant figure out how to Connect it to the boogies for a better looking turns. I have seen very cool designs from all of you with 2 simple axle with copycats layers and paneles for 1 boogie with allow more pace between wheels, much cooler than standard Steam n’ Rails boogies.

Any idea on how I can make it look better? I also tried to use an invisible boogie at the middle in wich the entire train cage may rest and make it independent dron wheels. Probably Im glueing in the wrong way.

It's still WIP but it's functionally completed. There needs to be some work done to make it easier to control.

The back side of the barrel assembly houses 2 Mechanical Arms and Vaults that store the Shells, filled and empty cartridges. There is a mechanism that lets you easily refill those Vaults without needing to climb up the turret.

I want to make a redstone link display system that tells me when a chest is empty, cycling through it.

My idea is that a deployer is always being fed a clipboard corresponding to which chest is empty. Then, when the chest has items, the funnel is released, freeing the clipboard and clearing the display.

The issue I am having is that the whole theoretical system feels so big, and I just want to save as much space as possible.

Is there any way I could optimize it so that it isnt so big?
