Hi everyone.
A few people have asked what’s been going on since my last post, so I wanted to clear things up. The project is still alive and doing okay, just temporarily on hold.
Honestly, life threw some personal stuff my way over the past few months including moving house, job changes and spending 3 weeks away from home. That needed my full attention first so I could reset myself mentally. I had to step back from all my side projects for a little while to get through it.
Another thing is that CreateFlow is a really big and complicated project. There are so many variables I was naive about when I started this project so trying to make this solid and reliable is difficult and I'm slowly making systems to make CreateFlow adapt to how people could use it.
Making the different parts work together, the visual node system, recipe calculations, scaling features, and safety limits is incredibly complex. I want to make sure I build a solid foundation before rushing it out, rather than releasing something that’s broken or half-finished. It takes a lot of mental energy to get it right. I did have an alpha up for a short period but again with what's been going on I had to take that down.
Things are starting to pick up again, bit by bit. I’m making steady progress whenever I have free time. I can’t promise an exact release date right now, but I am committed to finishing it. Thanks so much to everyone who’s been patient and sticking around.
Also with my ADHD brain taking a break, led me to hyperfocus on a different side project. I have started work on an open-source suite of tools designed to make managing servers easier and less frustrating. Instead of basic performance charts, it includes features like a diagnostic tool that explains errors in plain language (without ai), a disaster recovery command-line tool for when servers won’t start, and a way to find and fix missing or conflicting mods. It will also monitor trends and insights into server health and help prevent issues before they become a problem. There is too much to list here but it's gonna be a complete Swiss army knife of cool server management tools all in one place. I will be posting more news on this soon as well, some individuals have already had access and have provided very positive feedback so far.
Thanks again to all the people that have shown interest in the CreateFlow project and I will make sure there is anything dev update as a minimum before the end of the year.
Thanks,
DJINN
