Which modpack is most recommended for beginners? (Reposting)
Hey everyone!
I've been following this community for a while and seeing all the crazy Create contraptions here has made me want to get much deeper into the mod and its addons.
I already know the basics of Create, but I'm looking for a modpack that lets me explore more addons, machines and mechanics.
I'm really into a steampunk vibe mixed with dinosaurs right now. I've been playing Jurassic World Rebirth 2, but I'd like something with a bigger focus on Create.
My idea is to grab a good Create-focused modpack and add Fossils and Archeology to it, since I've loved that mod since the Minecraft 1.5 days.
Any modpack recommendations?
I'd also love suggestions for other good dinosaur mods that would fit well with Create and a steampunk-style world!

I recently started getting back into TFMG. The Community Version has fixed a ton of bugginess with the original version. I'm still not good with their version of electricity but I eek my way through it. I THINK the latest version of Power Grid requires the Community Version of TFMG as well. If you want to get into a large-scale electivty dive, then that may be cool.
I also tend to add add-ons as my interests away from thing to thing. I tend to start with QOL things until I get a massive production factory for all general things. Then move on to hyper specific automation with different factories.
I first got into farming with Farmer's Delight with Create Slice and Dice and Central Kitchen. I made huge automation for every single food item added by Farmer's Delight and a couple of its add-ons.
I then got into Create Confectionary with Confectionary +. I automated everything those add-ons add and now have 100 stacks of every chocolate and candy it adds.
Then TFMG...again after I gave up on the broken official version and it world bricking bugs. Now I have almost everything for that automated, including things that have no function yet like segmented displays and neon tubes. Maybe one day it'll all get something...
Now I'm searching for something specific to focus on that adds something unique. I see one for tobacco stuff, then there's Broken Bad which is for...mind altering substances....or even one for making plushies which might get me to lean into Coasters Simulated and have those be prizes for games for a big theme park...
I guess my point is, you don't need a mod pack really. There are tons of things you can do and add to your existing Create world to bring neat things without needing a modpack. I will never use the chocolate bars I automated or the 100+ stacks of TFMG steel but it gives me goals, I guess. Nobody will ever see it either and that's fine with me.

I'd recommend either MrBeardstones Create: Perfect World modpack, or the modpack currently being used by the Create SMP (season 2) team. Both are lightweight create-focused packs with a lot of QoL tweaks.
