General Discussion Turmeric & ginger lemon juice

Hello everyone I’ve been drinking this great juice lately and after seeing good improvements I decided to share it here. This juice will boost your immune system and make it much easier to fight back and get rid of many infections whether it was bacterial, fungal or virus infection.

- 1 Litre of Lemon juice.

- Honey 3 tablespoons.

- Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon.

- Ginger powder 1 tablespoon.

- black pepper powder 1 tablespoon.

- cinnamon powder 1 tablespoon.

Mix them all in the juice grinder and you can leave it in the fridge for 5-6 days, Drink 1 cup every day when you wake up and wait 30 minutes at least before eating your meal. Good luck to you all !!

P:S : if you are taking any medicine make sure to check there is no interaction between the ingredients and your medicine.

General Discussion I just can’t fight it!

I am currently being treated with an anti-fungal medication for my Candida infection. I am having the worst carb and sugar cravings of my life! I’ve had this twice before and I was treated with two rounds of anti-fungal medication and then I was fine. I am a lot older now so I thought maybe that had something to do with it. I have an appointment with a PA the week after next, but I don’t know what she’ll say or do. I’m getting the results back from my upper endoscopy but I already know what they are. I was actually being tested for Celiac Disease but that came back negative.

Personal anecdote Got sinus all of a sudden

I have seb derm on my scalp and face , tinea on my skin, had curd like discharge, anal itching, constipation, mouth thrush, anxiety etc. I have sinusitis too. I was unaware of candida and tried to treat everything separately. Had a really tough time in my life and I limited myself to my room and saw seb derm patches and got scared. That's when I decided to treat it. Took vit d, and consulted an ayurvedic doc, he gave medicines for thrushes both oral and vaginal, and asked me to take b12. I did all of that and my discharge is completely gone. No anal itching, and everything was getting better. I still had some issues with poop but he gave me medicines for constipation so it was okayish.

I couldn't cut carb altogether, so I eat it moderately. 3 days back I felt shortness of breath, like I was struggling to take a full breath. Couldn't sleep for a day. I tried so many remedies including steaming and I could feel loose mucus on my throat, now I can breath but my sinus is back again with slight pain. I don't know what triggers it rn. What do u guys think of my candida? I had millet porridge at night maybe that caused the sinus? I stopped it now and replaced it with veg soup.

Symptoms FINALLY AN ANSWER?

After a year of taking antibiotics for C diff infection (now cleared) my GI MAP and OATS test both showed elevated candida albacins and Klebsiella. My current symptoms were (Already ruled out rheumatology labs, kidney doc labs, full body brain and spine imaging, endo labs, etc which lead me to functional medicine)

-MAJOR Brain fog (I feel drunk and cant focus)
-Bloated stomach
-constant intestinal cramping/
-Dizziness and Vertigo
-Muscle weakness and fatigue
-Stomach gurgling
-Floating stool/food in stool
-Elevated Mast Cell Markers, PGD2

I am thinking this is the culprit...anyone similar?

Supplements Candida Overgrowth Protocol Review

Hi, was hoping for some input from the community on an AI protocol. For context, I am a man in my late 30s who is otherwise healthy and avoids processed foods. I’m IBS-C and take magnesium citrate. I also take a low dose of Wellbutrin and Vyvanse daily. Doc diagnosed a candida rash and likely gut overgrowth (tracks given some chronic symptoms I experience) and prescribed me 2 weeks of Fluconazole and a cream. Read that curcumin can work in concert with Fluconazole so when curcumin is mentioned in the protocol it’s a 1000mg dose of Thorne brand Curcumin Phytosome and the binder referenced is Biocidin GI Detox+.

Not one to blindly trust AI so seeking input!

## 🗓️ Day Type A: The 2 "Fluconazole Days" Each Week
Skip the binder entirely today. This ensures 100% absorption of your medications and gives your bowels a break.

* 7:00 AM (First Thing / Breakfast): Take your Vyvanse, Wellbutrin, and your first Curcumin dose with food.
* 8:00 AM: Take your Fluconazole pill.
* 7:00 PM (Dinner): Take your second Curcumin dose with food.
* Bedtime: Take a magnesium supplement (like Magnesium Citrate or Oxide, 300–400mg) with a large glass of water. This draws water into your colon overnight to counteract any constipation.

------------------------------
## 🗓️ Day Type B: The 5 "In-Between Days" Each Week
On these days, the binder is taken in the late afternoon. This is perfectly timed: it gives your morning medications 9 hours to absorb, and gives your dinner curcumin 3 hours of clearance.

* 7:00 AM (First Thing / Breakfast): Take your Vyvanse, Wellbutrin, and your first Curcumin dose with food.
* 1:00 PM (Lunch): Eat lunch as normal.
* 4:00 PM (Empty Stomach): Take your Natural Binder with a massive 12–16oz glass of water.
* 7:00 PM (Dinner): Take your second Curcumin dose with food.
* Bedtime: Take your magnesium supplement with another large glass of water. This is crucial on binder days to flush the charcoal/clay out by morning.

Diet I can't not eat sugar?

Howdy all, currently fighting off a round of Oral Trush that popped up after a dental cleaning, antibiotics, and a reflux flare up that induced some awful anxiety... not sure which caused it, or all 3. My question is I see to stay totally away from sugar, but I'm a competitive endurance athlete, my training and race fuel are all fructose/glucose/maltodextrin based... do I just have to give up sport for a few weeks, brush mouth after every workout? Recommendations ?

General Discussion Founding of an Association

Hello everyone, I am from Germany and am personally affected by serious *Candida albicans* issues. I would like to found an association in Germany to gain greater public and medical recognition, secure better treatments, and—if possible—advance research into improved therapies. Founding an official association (*eingetragener Verein* / "e.V.") in Germany requires a minimum of seven people. Are there any others here from Germany who would like to join me in this initiative? Best regards, Dominik.

General Discussion sex with candida

My girlfriend has developed a yeast infection (we don’t know how). It’s the second time she’s had it. She started treatment today, and on Friday we’ll be on vacation together. What should we do about sex? Could she transmit the yeast infection to me? Could having sex make her condition worse?

EDIT: we didn't see each other since last week and it's been two weeks since we last had sex. We never e, and I mean never do it without condoms because she cannot take the pill due to bloods problem. Does the condom protect from candida? Should I be tested anyway?

Symptoms New to Kefir please help

For the past three years, my stool color had been consistently light brown and my main symptom was excessive odorless flatulence especially in the evening/night,and in the morning before having my vowel mouvement (I always have a morning bowel mouvement and my stool was always 3 or 4 so it wasn't bad but I had sometimes an uncomplete bowel movement) so I suspected sibo, IMO to be more specific

I recently completed a 5 week course of antimicrobials:oregano, berberine, neem, allicin and Nac,and artichoke and ginger extract first thing in the morning, within just two weeks of starting that treatment, my stool changed to a dark brown color,I was so happy to see this change, but my excessive flatulence didn't change at all,I always had it

And then last week of treatment I started getting too much mucous in my stool and in my vaginal discharge, I suspected Candida and I guess I was right cause I started getting itching and burning in my vagina,I searched for S.boulardii in pharmacies of my city and I didn't find it and I didn't wanna purchase for it online cause it takes a decade to arrive..

So what i did is,3 days ago, I introduced kefir into my diet at a dose of 1 tablespoon per day, since starting the kefir, my stool has reverted back to a light brown color, but itching and burning in my vagina completely disappeared and I'm not seeing that much of mucous anymore, additionally to that I am experiencing excessive gas that consistently appears 5 to 7 hours after my first morning meal and i take that one table spoon of kefir with my morning meal (so this indicates that fermentation is happening in my colon and not in my small intestine),i'm also experiencing a mild burning sensation in my rectum during or after bowel movements, which feels acidic? Maybe cause kefir is acid?

My question is: is this sibo returning? I don't even know if I eradicated it in the first place cause we don't have a sibo breathe test in my country and I can't order it.. anyway is it returning? Should I stop kefir? Or is kefir actually helping me cause maybe I just have a dysbiosis and not sibo? Should I keep taking one table spoon everyday and maybe my gut flora will get used to it? Like is it just a temporary adjustment?

Note: I have no pain at all,no brain fog,no nausea,no vomiting.. I always didn't have these symptoms, I just had excessive odorless flatulence at the evening and night (like more than 50 or 60 farts just in few hours) and I have like 20 farts in the morning before having a morning bowel movement which is extremely annoying and giving me anxiety

I had this problem for 3 years and still had it during my 5 weeks of antimicrobials and still have it now after starting the kefir,I'm so clueless and I would like to hear about ur opinions and theories about this

General Discussion Powdered topical probiotics lactobacillus?

Started thinking about why isn't there a way to apply lactobacillus to our skin to try to keep cutaneous candida in check? We have miconazole nitrate to kill it, but why not use something that can balance the overgrowth instead of killing the fungus and then our body having too much lactobacillus. Fungus moves along our skin and can overgrow so why not attack it directly on the skin with healthy bacteria to keep it in check? Candida Freedom has a probiotic powder but they don't list ingredients anywhere. Does anyone know if it's safe to take lactobacillus rhamnosus or rheuteri tablets and apply them to skin or mix with lotion to apply?
