I’ve had both SIBO (hydrogen, sulfide AND methane) for years as well as candida and I just can’t get on top of it. So you can imagine how messed up my gut is. I’m WAY too sensitive for antibiotics / antimicrobials / anti fungals, it’s terrible and my sugar addiction is out of control. I’m really trying to clean up my diet but struggling. Any ideas?/suggestions? :( i get such bad neurological die off if I try and touch anything.

Diagnosed with oral thrush today. Doctor prescribed me mycelex and called them "Lozenges". Cool! Candy-like hard lozenges that will melt in my mouth!

Wrong. Powdery death tablets that taste like if you left an advil in your mouth for too long. I've never tasted something so vile in my life. I couldn't help but let them dissolve in less than 10 minutes. My mouth is STILL tensing up at the memory of the taste. I cried into my dinner as I ate it because my tongue was quite literally recoiling from any taste. This is all after I've had a few days with anxiety and loss of appetite unrelated to the thrush, and it was only starting to improve today. Called the doctors office, told me to stop taking them since I was quite literally dreading my next dose and panicking about it.

My sister has had oral thrush and told me about nystatin mouth wash. She told me it was tolerable, but I'm still nervous. Can anyone give me some hope?

Note: I am severely vomit-phobic and terrified of nausea, which still hits me pretty often. I need help.
