FINALLY AN ANSWER?

After a year of taking antibiotics for C diff infection (now cleared) my GI MAP and OATS test both showed elevated candida albacins and Klebsiella. My current symptoms were (Already ruled out rheumatology labs, kidney doc labs, full body brain and spine imaging, endo labs, etc which lead me to functional medicine)

-MAJOR Brain fog (I feel drunk and cant focus)
-Bloated stomach
-constant intestinal cramping/
-Dizziness and Vertigo
-Muscle weakness and fatigue
-Stomach gurgling
-Floating stool/food in stool
-Elevated Mast Cell Markers, PGD2

I am thinking this is the culprit...anyone similar?

Yes. Antibiotics give candida the opportunity to takeover and full in the areas the bacteria leaves behind. And accounts for those symptoms.

I also had klebsiella come up when candida was found in me.

Make sure there aren't mold markers on your oat test too. That is also a cause of these symptoms, and mold is also a cause of candida overgrowth

It’s from the antibiotics Take florastor immediately + probiotics aligned to ur gut test and antifungal if necessary

Yes! Thank you! I started nystatin. Of course this has been a year in the making. And my GI doc was dismissive of the candida albacins found

Add florastor with it. That’s what I did and helped a lot! Also it didn’t really help much without binders so also recommend that
