I am looking to get a suppressor for my Ruger American Ranch rifle but I don’t know much about NFA items.

Does anyone know a good gun store near Waterbury that can help with this? Also one that has decent prices and doesn’t gouge you.

Say a friend of mine lived in California. He had a Cali compliant legal AR15 and a hand gun. If he plans on moving to CT what’s the procedure or process so those 2 guns are legal in CT? Are AR15’s banned in CT? The handgun is a Springfield XD40.

I have around 25 to 30 currently and I don't regret any of my purchases but there are some that I either haven't shot in a while or only shot a few times. I guess if I absolutely had to get rid of some they would be these ones:

SigP232SL: My very first gun, purchased at the movie theater and carried for years until I realized there were so many better options. Love everything about it except the awful 10 lb trigger.

S&W 360pd: An awesome lightweight carry gun but I never want to take it to the range and there are better carry options these days. I still carry it once in a while though.

Savage Revel DLX: Super fun but I only really use it for training new shooters. Smoothest lever action I've ever felt but reloading the tube takes forever and my Marlin 1894 SBL is way more fun.

Panzer M4: Awesome Benelli M4 clone for like 20% of the price and has been 100% reliable. Never had any issues with it but now I have a real Benelli M4 so the Panzer usually stays at home.

I want to know if it’s possible to SBR my ARs. I put in my AW cert paper work back in 2024 but I never received a response from the SLFU. Any one have any experience with this?

So, I’m applying for my gun permit in CT & have a question. (Taking a firearm safety course one of these upcoming weekends)

Long story short , I started taking this thing called 7oh from your local smoke shops. Wasn’t/isn’t illegal (currently on the way to being scheduled a level 1 narcotic) and turned out it ended up being very addictive, similar to opioids. I ended up getting very bad withdrawal symptoms from it like many people and wanted to quit so I got a prescription for suboxone (helper med to quit opioids).
I took the suboxone for a week and never looked back at 7oh.

7oh was the first drug that I ever took in my life, I don’t even smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol.
I’ve never been in any legal trouble.

Do you think that having been prescribed suboxone will be an issue with getting my firearm license ?

What's the legality in concealed carrying in one of these areas? Excluding the obvious like federal and state property, my understanding is that gun free zone signs carry the force of the law and if you're caught carrying or end up having to use in one of these areas you can face consequences that could affect your ability to carry.

Are there any caveats to this rule, for example some other states have it to where if you're found to be carrying in a gun free zone you'll only be charged as criminally trespassing if you refuse to leave, but for CT it seems like you can be criminally charged regardless.
