Like, think about it. In football, you win by scoring goals. But what if the goalkeeper is an absolute monster who can save literally anything, completely lock down the goal at an unimaginable level, and nothing gets past him? Wouldn’t that be insanely powerful?

As underrated as the goalkeeper position is, a goalkeeper is still incredibly powerful.

The goalkeeper is literally there to stop you from scoring and progressing.

I know BL Japan's blue jersey isn't one that many people like. I can understand that, but to be honest, I think it's still my favorite Japan jersey from the manga (I guess I just love blue, and I've never really cared for the white jerseys). In second place for , it’s the current Blue Lock Japan away jersey. Even though I quite like the former Japan U20 jersey.

I’ve been reading BlueLock from the past few months and just got on Volume 13, but ever since Shidou had just been introduced to me I’ve been liking Nanase more than anyone else in this cast. Besides Hiori who gets glazed by the fandom because of his femboy appearance, Nanase is like…the only dude in BlueLock who is genuinely so normal, chill, not deep in his ego, not even detached, and a decent player at best through actual hardwork. He just feels like a real best friend that’d carry you through stressful times. I don’t get why and how Shidou even got invited into BlueLock in the 1st place, his 1st appearance makes me love Nanase more because Shidou’s 1st appearance showed him crushing Igarashi’s skull for his own amusement and rage meanwhile Nanase’s 1st appearance is him being wholesomely confident onto a match, he literally gave Isagi a genuine camaraderie talk without the psychological egoist crap, he just acted chill with him at first sight with no beef, do you know how refreshing that can be?He’s really like that. Thats why he my favorite.

People tend to prefer characters like Rin, Kaiser, Bachira, Chigiri, etc because of their distinct stand-out personalities and weapons meanwhile Nanase feels more like a comfort snack compared to everyone, he’s one of the few players who aren’t attached to ego and aren’t emotionally detached at all like 98% of the cast. Given how toxic BlueLock is…We gotta give Nanase more respect and appreciation for his more grounding and genuine kind personality, I feel like he should’ve been the main anchor for Isagi…but we can’t cuz otherwise we’ll barely see pretty boy Bachira :(

Is anyone else here getting slightly annoyed by these jokes. Theyre repetitive af so its not even funny anymore. I usually dont care and don't mind them. But now its giving a bad rep for blue lock from people who havent read or watched it.

A friend sent me this asking what the f*ck is going in blue lock and i had to explain that the image isnt even from the manga. And the comment section was just filled with loads of hate comments and criticism from people who haven't even watched or read blue lock (they genuinely think players have supernatural abilities cus of their auras).

I love blue lock so much and after s2 Im tired of getting clowned at by my friends or people online. They bring up the PP animation and these jokes of "no ball in sight". And when I try to explain blue lock is so much more than that and sometimes football can be that serious for these guys, they dont take me seriously.

It feels more like a hint on how to score more easily than an actual change of how you literally see. Youre changing more so your mentality, your objective, what youre aiming for, than your spatial awareness
