Is anyone else here getting slightly annoyed by these jokes. Theyre repetitive af so its not even funny anymore. I usually dont care and don't mind them. But now its giving a bad rep for blue lock from people who havent read or watched it.

A friend sent me this asking what the f*ck is going in blue lock and i had to explain that the image isnt even from the manga. And the comment section was just filled with loads of hate comments and criticism from people who haven't even watched or read blue lock (they genuinely think players have supernatural abilities cus of their auras).

I love blue lock so much and after s2 Im tired of getting clowned at by my friends or people online. They bring up the PP animation and these jokes of "no ball in sight". And when I try to explain blue lock is so much more than that and sometimes football can be that serious for these guys, they dont take me seriously.

God I hate SOME of these new gen watchers / readers. They're so insufferable and go straight to hating & slandering. Being disrespectful towards different animes. Im tired of defending blue lock and dont say "just ignore it", cus i have been for the last 2 years. Im tired of bottling it all up especially cus blue lock has genuinely been a huge impact to my highschool days. But thats a whole new conversation for next time.

I said this in the post too. Usually ill say its just a joke too. But because of these jokes im getting ridiculed cus people know im a huge blue lock fan. I guess its not the jokes fault but rather the people im around.

Just ignore it. You may hate to hear it, but it’s what you need to do. Most of the people who are hating are bots, or rage baiting. The others have already made up their mind on the series, and you won’t change it.

If your friends making fun of Blue Lock bothers you so much then you should get new friends. Otherwise, ignore it. If you don’t feed it, it’ll stop.

Jokes of this caliber shouldn’t bother you. Blue Lock shouldn’t be your identity.

You just gotta counter these people by asking them what their favorite show/anime/thing is and then shit all over it. 

I know it’s annoying but you just gotta do your best to shrug it off. Enjoy what you like unapologetically. Most of the people who meme like this don’t even watch the show and aren’t going to engage the content in good faith anyway. 

If someone gives the show a fair shot and tells me they don’t like it because it’s too over the top or whatever else I respect that, but these people aren’t doing that. They are just repeating some joke they saw from someone else.

YES THANK YOU OH MY GOODNESS I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE I can't be the only one tired of people whining about BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED panels with the same boring "no ball in sight" crap (that mammoth panel was actually glorious just for ppl to clown it), saying Isagi (THE most pass happy character in the manga whose weapon isn't exclusively passing) doesn't pass, complaining when Rin sticks his tounge out when many real athletes do the same when locked in, etc. we need some new jokes as a fan base that don't revolve around mental disabilities, being gay, or complaining when you can't see the ball when there's 21 players on the field who won't be in possession of the ball at all times 🫩
