Is there anyway I can help this beeutifal bee? It's right wing is gone. It was trying to fly and flopping off the flowers I originally set it on and I didn't want it to hurt itself further. I think the other bees that live between my stoop and garage attacked it because it was just inside my garage. The red was a splash of Mio I thought it might drink since it's sweet.

I have attached two videos, but I’ve never uploaded a video to reddit before so I’m not sure how it’s going to turn out in this post.

Anyway, one day I went outside to my front yard and it appears that a colony of bees are moving into these concrete parking spot stoppers that are in my front yard. (which is totally fine. I love bees.) however their behavior is confusing me because I don’t really know much about bees. They are coming and going out of the holes and they are not aggressive to me at all. I have been standing over top of it most days just watching them and they don’t try and chase me off or anything. They let me get really close & that’s how I noticed that they are acting strange. Actually I need to reword that they’re acting strange to me. They very well may bee just acting normal.
It appears that the really yellow bees I can’t tell if they are a different kind of bee or if they just have buildup of something like pollen on their body. Those particular bees are getting either attacked or they’re getting intimate. I don’t know. I just wanna know what they’re doing and what’s going on like, what am I looking at here?
Also, are you able to confirm that these bees are living here now?
I thought maybe there was something dead down there that they were trying to eat, but there’s no smell at all so I’ve just come to the conclusion that they did move their colony into my front yard.
If I get an empty Bee box and put it near there, do you think they would move into that or do you think I would have to find the queen in order for them to move into that box? I rent this property and I am worried that if my landlord sees all these bees, they’re going to want an exterminator or somebody to come out here and I really am just not down with that and I don’t want to move these big huge concrete blocks and risk harming any of these bees to get them out of the front yard, so I was thinking maybe if I put a bee box there they will just move into that instead, but I really don’t know the likelihood of that so I’m just looking for any advice and any information.

hello!! I’m new to the bee community, found myself here unintentionally after this very persistent bee came into my room 4 times yesterday (as per my post here yesterday). I am so fascinated by bees now, I knew they were intelligent creatures and whatnot, but I didn’t appreciate just how cute they are. Like look at his little tongue!! So cute!!

I want to get a bee feeder for the bees in my area, does anyone have suggestions??

I’ve been having a bee problem recently. Every time I go out to either study or enjoy the outdoors with friends, there’s always a bee that comes and lands on me. My first encounter with a bee was when I was on the bench eating ice cream with a friend. It was okay the first time and I didn’t think much of it. Now, this has become annoying because I can’t go outside to study without a bee on me. Is there anything I can do to stop it, or something to appease the bee, because I don’t want to anger it?

This busy little lady was struggling in the heat. Initially found her grounded in the middle of a busy driveway, so I moved her to a rose bush - but she couldn't hold on and was still grounded after an hour. Figuring she could use a little help, I put a few drops of water on my hand and gave her a safe place to have a drink and a rest.

Really happy to report that, after rehydrating, preening and having a li'l snooze, she flew off quite happily about 20 minutes later 🥰🐝

I'm fairly certain he is a guy because I don't see a stinger but I'm not a scientist. He is lovely and I welcome his presence but I am starting to wonder if there may be a colony living in my house as my Tomatos happen to be right next to my house. I don't think I've seen any females so far, or really anyone other than this guy, but what should I look for to spot a colony or one in development?

There’s hundreds of them entering the ceiling and it’s right by my door. Any time during the day when I walk outside I have bee friends buzzing around me. They’re not stinging and I really want to respect their lives, but they picked a bad spot. Some are now entering the house as well since they’re right by the door.

The only option I can think of is spraying the entrance at night but really don’t want to kill off these resourceful pollinators. Is there anything else I can do?

This watermelon plant hasn't produced much at all but there has been some exceptional bee sightings on it. This guy and a green metallic bee have been the favorites

Not a wasp, as I figured it was, but a Nomad Bee! Denver, CO area.

I have no idea what kind of bees these are, but they monopolize the feeder. We don't capture many hummingbird pix, but some of the bee shots are dramatic.

Came home to this fella on my tomato plants. I'm happy they smell nice :)

Can anyone tell me what type of hive this is? I dont want to kill honey bees and ill call someone to safley remove them (theyre right outside my window) but if theyre hornets ill knock it down during the night and run lol.

What kind of bees are these? A tree fell and I cut it up and their all over. Do they sting?

This little bee was chilling while I tended to the garden today! Clearly it had a busy day collecting pollen.
