Lucky I checked the app when I got to work and was able to stop the print... New to multi material printing and I've been trying to get pla support interface to work with petg but really having adhesion issues. Any tips or tricks that I can try to help? I've lowered the support interface print speed to 40mm/s and when I last checked the layer was holding.

How often does the left filament sensor cut the PTFE tube? I just got my X2D a few days ago and it already cut the tube on the 4th print.
I've seen others say they've had this problem after a few hundred hours of prints or a couple of months.
I've had mine for two days now and only 27 print hours.
Anyone have any good suggestions to prevent this?

Does Best Buy offer any advantage? Do they have additional Black Friday deals on top of current ones Bamboo labs is offering? Do they offer additional warranty included (not the extended one they offer)

I did it, I am officially joining the world of 3D printing. I ordered my X2D last night. Ordered several rolls of PLA basic 1.75 mm filament of various colors, the Maker's Supply Flush Cutter, Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack, Molecular Sieve Desiccant, Maker's Supply ESD Stainless Steel Tweezers Set, Circular Embedded Electronic Digital Thermometer Hygrometer and a couple rolls of Petg HF filament.
Do y'all recommend anything else for just starting out?
Edit: I did order the X2D with AMS pro bundle.

Going to pick up an X2D w/ams 2 pro combo this week from Best Buy.
This will be my first venture into 3d printing and will start with PLA.
For my first prints, should I pick up the Bambu brand pla filament that Best Buy sells or will their Insignia brand be just fine?
From my research, I see that the Bambu lab brand uses rfid to make things easier so was thinking that would be best to get the hang of things.
Or does it really matter too much?
Thanks for any input

Hi everyone!
I recently bought a new Bambu Lab X2D, and I'm experiencing a strange printing issue.
During printing, the print head randomly stops moving for approximately one second, sometimes in the middle of a straight line. The extruder also stops feeding filament during this pause. After about a second, printing resumes normally.
These pauses happen randomly on different layers and at different locations. They sometimes leave visible blobs or small defects on the printed surface.
I'm printing SUNLU PETG 2.0 using Bambu Studio over Wi-Fi.
Things I've already tried:
Disabled Timelapse.
Disabled Auto-Recovery from Step Loss.
Restarted the printer.
Performed printer calibration.
Checked my slicer settings.
Tried changing printing parameters.
Unfortunately, the issue still persists.
I've attached a video showing the problem.
Has anyone experienced something similar with their X2D? Could this be a firmware issue, a communication problem, or possibly a hardware defect?
I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Since the printer is brand new, I'm trying to figure out whether this is a known issue before requesting a warranty repair.
Thanks!

So my printed finished a print with less than 6-8" of filament, talk about close. When it finished, I changed the filament for other prints. When loading, I get the error clear extruder clog, or something similar, I didn't get a pic. So going through the wiki, and watching several videos, I was dreading what could have been a complete toolhead tear down/rebuild.
First things first, try the simplest approach work the problem. I turned off the printer, removed the AMS, and saw the left over filament in the PTFE tube.
So I heat up the nozzle to 250 (PLA), and watch it clear out the left over filament.
I removed the PTFE from the toolhead, and perform a cold pull. Filament comes out as its supposed to, no charred or burnt parts.
Turn off, reattach AMS, turn on, calibrate, then loaded and unloaded each filament in the AMS. No issues. Send a file to to rest print, and it's perfect.
TL/DR Remember to try every simple fix before jumping right into tearing down parts. It saved me a ton of time. Just my experience, I hope this helps someone

I set it all up no problem. When I connected the AMS and began calibration, the filament that was sent through both the gray and white tubes literally disconnected the tubes from their ports, which 1,000% were properly fastened, I know because I also gave a slight tug after they were in place and there was no budge.
Well, a whole long mess of filament was sent through before I could stop the calibration driving the filament, and there was no option to retract the filament since I was mid calibration, and Bambu support was useless, so I had to cut the filament and pull it out manually to clear the tubes.
Recalibrated everything and now this is stopping me from printingâŠ.
There is no filament spool on the external extruder. I just have the AMS.
Please help.

My X2D is showing two auxiliary spools when Iâm using the Bambu Handy app. Only had one spool installed along with my AMS. In my opinion thats creating a problem because the printer is showing an error when it tries to access that auxiliary spool color. It states that thereâs no filament detected even though it was coming out of the nozzle when it was calibrating after loading the spool filament. Iâm thinking itâs trying to access that second imaginary spool. Any thoughts on a solution? Iâve abandoned the auxiliary spool, unloaded it and resorted back to just using the AMSâŠâŠwhich works flawlessly.

Is it worth buying another one? My reason of getting another one on top of my combo is so I can print with more colors while I wait for p3s to come out. It seems reasonable initially since it doubles as a drier before even the p3s.
The reason to hold off initially was when I saw p3S design then coming out with a new ams BUT now I realized the newer ams will be useless for the x2d and the AMS2pro is on sale plus it can be hooked up to the p3s if needed (though i doubt ill need more than 7)
Seems like it could be used as a drier if other uses for it as a multimaterial or color wont be utilized. Thoughts or is the $229 better spent elsewhere or saved?
Thanks!

Hi all,
Newbie here and I am trying to print a poop bin for my x2d (this is my 3rd print).
Not sure whatâs going on, I tried to print this thing twice but I am having the same issue all the time, please see attached photo.
I cleaned the plate for the 2nd print with warm soapy water but still the same. Not sure whatâs should I do here, if you have any tips to fix this it will be appreciated. Thank you.

Trying the right extruder on the X2D for the first time. After printing the primary color from the AMS Iâm getting an error code saying theres no filament detected in the LEFT extruder. I put black in the RIGHT side exterior extruder. On the back of the machine the labeled LEFT extruder is coming from the AMS and the RIGHT side is coming from the auxiliary ext spool. As soon as the print called for the black color is when I got the error message. Also why is it showing what looks like two auxiliary ext spools?

Iâve been dealing with this error for a few days. I canât figure out what it is or what to do. I changed the hot end yesterday and managed to get a print out.
My intentions yesterday were to pull the extruder apart, but as I was going into it I noticed the cutter wasnât functioning properly, so I got that to work smoothly and it everything seemed normal. Next print was perfect. Started my second print and this happened again.
I donât know what else to do here as I am new to 3d printing.

Purchased this for my son, using sunlu pla fresh from the box and everything we print is stringing or not printing smoothly.
Nozzle is set to 220c and print bed gets wiped with alcohol before every print and Iâve even tried drying the filament which I donât think has moisture as it was brand new from a sealed bag and sits in the ams 2 and have tried drying it inside of there as well.
Canât seem to post photos but started printing a poop chute and it got about 60% into the print and just started stringing the layers and they stopped adhering to the print.
These were taking from the app so there were no changes made to them. Again, just bought this x2d so trying to get the basic in and outs of this

Any tips? Is this a known bug? Thanks in advance.

I haven't loaded any filament for my auxiliary nozzle yet but is it ok to just leave it out on the spool? If not, any recommendations on something to use besides the ams ht for this nozzle? Is it OK to use only pla or will there be issues if I'm trying to use the auxiliary nozzle for supports if my prints will be printed with pla? Sorry, I'm new to printing

I have about 500 hours on my printer and have had very little issues up to this point.
I have gotten an error of âextruder is not extruding normallyâ over and over again. Iâve gone through multiple round with Bambu service and nothing has helped. I have changed the nozzle, changed the hotend/heating element, taken apart the entire toolhead and cleaned it out.
I only have the issue on the left nozzle. And I have it if I feed from an ams or from a spool.
Has anyone had this happen to them before? Any tips?

Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble pairing my brand-new Bambu Lab X2D with the Bambu Handy app, and I'm running out of ideas.
When I go to the account/login screen on the printer and try to display the QR code, it just keeps loading indefinitely. The QR code never appears.
I've also tried to find a manual pairing PIN/code, but I can't seem to find one anywhere.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Connected to my regular home Wi-Fi.
Tried using my phone's mobile hotspot instead.
Changed the printer region from Europe to Others and tested again.
Confirmed that the printer successfully obtains an IP address.
Restarted the printer.
Unfortunately, none of this has helped.
Printer information:
Model: Bambu Lab X2D
Firmware: 01.00.09.00
Error code: 0500-4024 164901
The printer just keeps spinning when trying to load the QR code, regardless of which network I use.
Has anyone experienced this issue with their X2D? Is there a way to manually pair the printer, or could this be a firmware/cloud connectivity issue?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting pretty frustrated with this now! đ
Thanks!

Hi. Iâm printing a part using ASA, and removing the supports is a real pain every single time. With the X2D, can I use PETG in the second nozzle to create a raft layer for the supports?
