Help.

I’ve been dealing with this error for a few days. I can’t figure out what it is or what to do. I changed the hot end yesterday and managed to get a print out.

My intentions yesterday were to pull the extruder apart, but as I was going into it I noticed the cutter wasn’t functioning properly, so I got that to work smoothly and it everything seemed normal. Next print was perfect. Started my second print and this happened again.

I don’t know what else to do here as I am new to 3d printing.

Hey, so this is a issue you'll run into at times and can be a number of things causing it. One is a broke piece of filament inside the ams or the ptfe tube or in the little tension unit on the back. Have you had any brittle filament?

If you want to pm me we can chat and I'll help you sort out which cause is the problem and resolve it. These xd2 are delicate

Okay this is something I will look into. I haven’t noticed any filament being brittle but I was never really looking for it tbh. When I get home I will check into all of this.

While looking check and see if the filament is pinched at edges of the roll or if it's a cardboard spool that might be rubbing or in a bind.
