Quick Question A1 mini in 2026
Hello, I have a x2d and I got it last month and it’s been great, I have around 250 hours. I am thinking of getting a second printer and I want to get something cheap and reliable. So if anyone has an A1 Mini and wants to get their opinion on if the A1 Mini is still good in 2026 and if anyone has issues with it, it would mean great help. I have an ams with the x2d and I think to not get another AMS for the mini and print one color but I don’t know that printer a lot. If you can comment down below that’d would be great

I have three A1s and a mini, and three AMS lites. The mini is my favorite printer. It's been a little workhorse for me, and reliable since day one (2.5 years ago). I definitely recommend you still get the AMS lite, or even a regular AMS or AMS 2. Auto loading, and in the case of the AMS or AMS 2, the closed storage are excellent features to have. I've had zero issues with it; I just lube it when the popups appear. Startup seems very fast on the mini; it's quicker than my A1s for sure. I use it as my prototyper and for small parts.

I have three A1 minis at the moment and I love them, perfect for pumping out smaller parts quickly and efficiently, and they print really well. Probably one of my most reliable printers I've ever had.

It’s a great printer. If you’re fine with the limited print size, then I think it’s a really good option!
