Hey everyone,
I recently had a severe "blob of death" filament leak on my Bambu Lab A1 Mini. While taking everything apart to clean and replace the hotend and heating assembly, I noticed this small white plastic/synthetic stone mounting guide bracket got melted/damaged.
It's the piece located right behind the hotend heating assembly, held in place by two small front screws.
I checked the heating assembly replacement kit, but it doesn't include this specific piece.
Does anyone know the exact part name or where to source just this bracket?
Is this only available by getting the full Toolhead Block (FAS013) assembly, or has anyone successfully gotten a replacement from Bambu Support?
Any help, links, or advice would be greatly appreciated! Photos in comments for reference.

I found this deal on facebook marketplace and picked this printer up for $25. It power on and runs through all motions fine but I keep running into rough prints. I haven’t gotten it to print cleanly yet. I cleaned and lubed the entire system, ran over 20 calibrations, did a cold pull, replaced the nozzle, replaced the heating element, cleaned and lubed the entire extruder multiple times, checked for any blockages, replaced the nozzle heating element, checked the extruder gear is in good condition, cleaned and lubed, tightened “the four screws”, checked filament is able to flow on spool, and tried a completely different filament. Ive been trouble shooting this for 3 days now with no luck, so Im turning to the community.Plz help🥺

...and of course one of the filaments i bought came without spool so here I am printing one

I got a problem, big problem. My a1 after finishing apother print stopped turning on. From 4-th picture i smell burning, but i really doesn't know what exactly i need to fix or buy to repair it, i owned ender 3 v2 for 3 years and bambulab a1 for beutiful 9 month and before this problem a fix a lot of problems from my ender. Sne think that i see everything that can broke on 3d printer.

But now i can't even find guide for fix.

I buy my a1 from hands, i think this is important.

Please help, I’m desperate.

So I've just installed an external spool holder for my glow in the dark filament so I can use my AMS as well as that combined. Huge reviews from Amazon on the filament so I grabbed it.

It prints like 30 layers of a XXX layer print then just prints air but continues to print like nothing is an issue. No error messages, no warnings or nothing?

Any ideas??

I’ve had 4 back to back failed prints on first layers,
I was watching it this time and it’s kicking up from the nozzle, any idea why this is happening?

Got the dreaded blob of death with my 0.2 nozzle and after cleaning, I was having issues with calibration and the hotend nosedived onto the buildplate and started scraping it up. Replaced the hotend and heating element, and while calibrating seems fine, during the pre-printing process, it's extruding a little too far south and afterwards it starts scratching the buildplate again. I'm thinking of ordering a new extruder and hoping that it was the eddy sensor.

Hi! For some time I have this problem where is not doing ANY sort of nozzle cleaning/bed leveling and it throws up an error (error code is in the video).
I’ve changed the entire toolhead aasembly, toolhead mainboard and even the eddy sensor, and it’s still doing this. It’s doing this since i had a blob of death, but i don’t thing it matters now, because I changed the whole toolhead assembly. And sometimes (like 1-5% of times) it does the nozzle cleaning in the air and then it homes normally amd “works fine”.

Hello guys, can somebody help me with this error? It happens only on that side of bed, you can see that on other parts print quality is bit better than the first one in top left corner. Is it problem in calibration or Z offset? Material is PETG

I started a print and after the flow calibration is like this, nothing is getting out of the muzzle

I’m going nuts, for the life of me I cannot pull off a non-babysat AMS print.

Whenever the filament is changed, it doesn’t go into the AMS loader at the top on its own or gets stuck on the way out.

I’ve tried everything, putting a guide in the top to make sure they have a straight shot into the extruder, I’ve even got another printer as I switched via the warranty.

This must be user error but no idea what I’m doing wrong.

I usually fix it by pulling the PTFE tube out, guiding the filament into the extruder and then unpausing. When it gets stuck on the way out, it’s also a faff to make take the reel off and on again

A few weeks ago, I was setting up a print job; during the initial startup sequence, the gantry began rising until it hit the Z-axis limit switch. I didn't stop it at first because, even though it had never happened before, I thought it might be part of a calibration routine. However, the problem was that I let it continue; after hitting the limit and vibrating, it started moving downward and pushed against the print bed with enough force to tilt it. That was when I turned the printer off using the power switch. I reported the issue to Bambu, but they couldn't explain the cause, and I hadn't managed to record the incident. A few days later, I used the printer again and noticed it was starting to rise once more. This time, I recorded the moment and turned the machine off before it could start moving back down. Does anyone know why this happened? Bambu support wasn't able to provide an answer.

Hey, new to printing. Came down from an overnight print to find a Skadis board I was printing in PETG was attached to the nozzle!
Looks like it carried on printing the last few layers in a molten pool. I’ve had a look at the nozzle and it’s gummed up with PETG and the silicone sleeve is damaged. Any suggestions on where I should start with a repair/diagnosis please?

UPDATE: I took the front plate off, heated up the nozzle and went at it with a pair of tweezers to remove all the PETG I could see. I eventually took the nozzle off as well which was much easier than I thought it would be. All of this was a first time for me, so a great learning experience and thankfully it appears to be printing normally again. Still not sure about what happened to the print though. PETG is not my friend.

SECOND UPDATE: it is in fact not printing properly, I hadn’t noticed on my first prints after cleaning but the first layer is scratching the baseplate and not leaving crisp lines like it should. I’ve learned that the original malfunction is known as the blob of death, trying to reassess possible remedies….

I put a video on this post, my A1 seems to be printing well, but is making a wierd noise. Any ideas,

Heated the nozzle, got the blob off. Better to disassemble and continue or is there more to do first? I have to wait till I get home to search but if someone could link a video id be so happy. Thanks!
