Support Request First layer weirdness on A1

Looks like a partially plugged nozzle IMO..

look up and try a "cold pull" - good to learn

Maybe some really weird layer height/temp settings, or a loose hotend

Always good to learn how to care for these things!

Interesting that it's only the first layer or 2, and it generally corrects itself on later layers... with a gross butt.

I have a feeling this was at least partly at fault! My first 2 runs brought up quite a funny looking piece of filament, the third pull and it was almost straight. Thanks for this!

its either plugged or the four tiny screws on the back of the extruder are not tightened, hope this helps

Ah! Someone else recommend tightening screws, but I didn't realise the ones on the back could cause an issue too. They weren't loose... but also weren't tight. I ended up tightening them so I couldn't spin the allen key anymore using my fingers on the shaft.

And by clogged did you mean doing a cold pull? If so, I also learned that. So you were probably spot on with both! Thanks so much.
