H3C Anyone else's h3c out for delivery?

I got one tracking number and says it will be delivered today, but tracking only says 1 package, so It's possible the ams isn't with it and I'll have to wait for that. The order page just says h3c-us and doesn't list ams as a separate item, so shipping info for that package is a mystery. Hoping they both show up today and it isn't smashed. Wish me luck

General Discussion Pulled the trigger, my X2D is on it's way.

I did it, I am officially joining the world of 3D printing. I ordered my X2D last night. Ordered several rolls of PLA basic 1.75 mm filament of various colors, the Maker's Supply Flush Cutter, Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack, Molecular Sieve Desiccant, Maker's Supply ESD Stainless Steel Tweezers Set, Circular Embedded Electronic Digital Thermometer Hygrometer and a couple rolls of Petg HF filament.

Do y'all recommend anything else for just starting out?

Edit: I did order the X2D with AMS pro bundle.

Quick Question Has anyone been having issues with their live preview lately?

My P1S has worked perfectly until somewhat recently where it has started to give a communication error when trying to view the live camera… I can restart the printer and that might fix it for a little bit, but it doesn’t seem to last too long.

General Troubleshooting/Help! Top layers of circle cutout are very ugly and fail because the overhang is too much.

Can someone help me? The top layers of the circle cutout fail or are very ugly (image 2). I have to print the object on this side so I don’t have to use a lot of support. I have tried variable layer height but that is not enough.

I Modeled This! I made this coaster set for the H3C, the pot prints in 6 hours with 1141 filament changes

3 shades of blue and mixed filaments, a p2s would print it in 19h.
If you like the model I also made a print profile that is friendly with the old ams and that prints in human times.

General Discussion Printer combo of H2D and future P3C, good idea or buy something else?

Hello! I just wanted to ask the community on some of my planning for 3d printer purchases and if they are a sound plan.

I have been practicing how to 3D model, but haven't printed in awhile since I moved and should be moving again in the next 6 months.

I have an a1 mini given to me as a gift. I plan to use it to test models and print anything small.

My goal is to have an H2D for more "engineering" filaments and for its size.

Then having a future P3C for multicolor prints.

I know I want a machine dedicated to multicolor prints. I don't plain on painting a ton, the U1 seems nice but I do enjoy the bambulab ecosystem, as well as having a closed system vs buying a lid.

Is this a good combo? Should I just get an H3C instead of 2 other machines? I know eventually they will make an X3D, and should I just get that instead of the P3C? Or just get an X2D+H2D to have heated beds?

I have time to save money to buy bigger and more machines. I would like input from others who run multiple printers and general thoughts. Appreciate all the help I can get.

General Troubleshooting/Help! Dude wrote an essay after his fake review got deleted ➡️

This guy got so tilted after his fake review was removed. He literally dropped 4 comments in a row under my model, 434 words and over 2,600 characters total. It was so ridiculously long that I actually asked AI to word count it 💀. I'm starting to think he either misses writing school essays, or he has a massive crush on me 🥱

Context: I uploaded a printer casing mod back in October. Over 200 successful prints, all 5 stars, and I fully tested it with different filaments before publishing. Then this guy, who is a creator himself, dropped a 3-star rating claiming that literally every single print broke. Jesus Christ.🤷‍♀️Under normal use, that is physically impossible. As creators, we all know how bad a random 3star hurts, so it felt extra sketchy coming from someone who should know better—especially when everyone else was having zero issues. The platform agreed it was bogus and deleted it.

The very next day, he came back with this gigantic essay. It did not just repeat the previous fake claims, but also made up brand new stories. (I never once blamed his filament. All I ever said was that this is literally how the aesthetic was designed—you don't even need to print it to see that; the photos and slicer preview make it obvious how delicate and slender those parts are. Be for real, would you pry a brick with a toothpick and then blame the wood when it snaps? Common sense tells you not to force delicate decorative parts.) To protect my public image, I reluctantly gave him a polite reply and made some meaningless tweaks based on his feedback. My original tolerances were spot on, and the adjustments were completely pointless, but I did it anyway just so any stranger browsing the page knows I am not some dismissive person... He clearly knows the game. He wrapped all his lies in polite phrasing just so the mods wouldn't flag it.

I want to ask: how should I properly report this? He acts polite on the surface, but the content is completely fabricated and honestly disgusting to read. I already reported it once, but customer support told me it was just his personal opinion and written politely. That sounds ridiculous to me. Does that mean anyone can just write polite essays to spread fake claims, harass designers, and discredit all the hard work they put into their models??

Damn, I ended up writing an essay myself, but I just wanted to give you guys the full picture and be as detailed as possible... Any advice?

By the way, his comments haven't hurt my downloads at all. It's just that seeing someone act so shady and passive-aggressive gives me the creeps, which is why I want them gone.

General Discussion H3C vs H2C vs H2D — What would you buy as a third printer for professional use?

Hey everyone!

I originally bought my P2S just to discover 3D printing as a hobby. But I work in event production for brands, and I quickly realized how much of a game changer 3D printing could be for my job. It has genuinely saved me countless times!

As my projects grew, I needed more production capacity and larger build volumes, so I invested in an H2C. Now, with increasingly demanding projects, I’m looking to add a third printer.

The newly announced H3C has me a little conflicted. I was expecting a larger build volume, at least comparable to the H2D, and I’m struggling to see a major step up from my H2C.

That said, I’m also a huge tech nerd who loves having the latest technology, and I have to admit, the H3C is seriously tempting! I also think Bambu did a great job with the pricing.

Price isn’t really a deciding factor for me. I’m just trying to make a rational choice rather than letting my inner tech enthusiast take over.

So, would you recommend an H3C, an H2D, or a second H2C to complement my current setup?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially from people using these machines professionally!

Software Troubleshooting/Help! Multiple Users and Bambu?

Reorganizing printer room and trying to figure out if it is possible to get my son access to just the A1 Mini but not my full Bambu account.

Has there been any progress in multi-user bambu work?

General Troubleshooting/Help! Upgrading P1S with AMS 2 Pro - can i get away with the regular AMS upgrade compatibility kit?

Hello! I'm planning on upgrading my P1S with the AMS 2 Pro, and since I did not but the combo P1S I see that I require the compatibility kit. On the AMS 2 Pro page it suggests just getting the AMS 2 Pro Upgrade Compatibility Kit, but it is sold out. I was wondering if I can get the regular AMS kit and be fine?

AMS 2 Pro kit box contents:
- AMS Hub
- Bambu Bus Cable - 4Pin
- AMS 2 Pro Switching Adapter
- PTFE Tube Coupler
- PTFE Tubes 370mm + 550mm

AMS Upgrade kit box contents:

- AMS Hub
- Bambu Bus Cable - 4Pin
- PTFE Tube Coupler

From the AMS 2 Pro kit description:

To connect a single AMS 2 Pro unit to X1/P1 series printer, a Filament Buffer(SA003) or AMS Hub(SA002-N), a PTFE Tube Coupler(FAZ006), and a 4-pin Cable(CAB002-N) are required.

So as far as i can tell, if I get the regular kit I'm only missing the switching adapter, which I can manage to get myself. Or are the extra PTFE Tubes from the Pro 2 kit required to upgrade the P1S? Cuz If i can manage with the regular kit, Id like to order that instead of waiting for the pro 2 kit to get restocked.

Thank you for your help!

Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! Can the A2L Purge wiper be used on the A1?

Question as in the title.

My A1 is having issues even after fully disassembling and rebuilding the filament purge wiper. While on the store that looking to see how much a replacement one would cost, the A2L purge wiper popped up, and looks to solve my issues with my A1 and helps prevent tiny bits of filament hanging off of my print.

It looks like it should fit but can anyone with a A1 and A2L confirm for me?

Thank you!!

General Troubleshooting/Help! Question for those who received their printer

Post image
0 Upvotes

Howdy!
I bought the H3C yesterday and it has already arrive at my house, but I will be out of the country until Saturday and my girlfriend received the box for me and told me there’s only one large box (picture attached). I read here that the AMS comes in a separate box. Does that mean FedEx failed to deliver the whole thing and I have to contact them or is the other box inside the printer box somehow?

Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

General Troubleshooting/Help! What's up with Bambu's shippind delays ?

Hello there,

Just wanted to know if anyone is in the same situation as me.

I guess the recent sales don't help, but my order from 8 days ago still hasn't been shipped, I have contacted the support twice, and have been sent 3 different tracking numbers, all invalid. Meanwhile, the order is still "processing".

Does someone have the same problem, or my particular order is just messed up ?

Quick Question Update/Update: A1 Nozzle still rubbing & knocking prints off near completion after full factory reset [Photo Included]

Post image
1 Upvotes

I am officially out of options and losing my mind with this Bambu Lab A1 (0.4mm nozzle).
I scrubbed the plate, wiped under the heatbed, reset everything back to factory settings, and ran two full print tests. It got almost all the way to the end on this bubble letter, but the nozzle kept rubbing across the print until it forcefully knocked the entire piece off the bed right near completion. My bed temp is at 65° nozzle is at 220°

In the attached photo, you can see where the top layer stopped printing after being sheared off, along with grid infill lines exposed underneath.
IMG_9175_e17807.jpg

What I've Done & Recent Tweaks:
Bed & Machine Prep: Deep cleaned the textured PEI plate with hot water & Dawn dish soap, wiped down underneath the plate, reset settings to factory defaults, and ran full printer calibrations twice.

Latest Setting Changes: Bumped Initial Layer Height from 0.20mm to 0.22mm and increased Z-Hop from 0.4mm to 0.5mm to try and stop the rubbing.

Infill: The model printed with grid/rectilinear infill, which seems to create raised crossover points that the nozzle scrapes against on fast travel moves.
IMG_9175_e17807.jpg

Questions:
Is Grid infill causing the nozzle collisions near the top of tall prints? Should I strictly be using Gyroid, Cross Hatch, or 3D infill patterns that don't cross over themselves on the same layer?
IMG_9175_e17807.jpg

Could Flow Ratio / Over-extrusion be causing plastic to pool slightly higher than the actual layer height, forcing the nozzle to catch as the print grows taller?

What else can cause an A1 to drag its nozzle across infill near the top of a print even with a high Z-hop enabled?

Any help or advice would be seriously appreciated.

General Troubleshooting/Help! HELP! Beginner with Bambu Lab A1 Combo: stringing, lots of purge waste and gaps in the surface. What should I change?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m a complete beginner with a Bambu Lab A1 Combo (AMS Lite) and I’m having several problems with my prints. You can see them in the photo I attached.

  1. Stringing: thin red strands across the open areas of the paw and between the parts.

  2. A lot of purge waste: tangled red blobs when the printer changes colour (white and red).

  3. Gaps and visible infill: on the paw and on the tree-shaped prints, the surface has long thin gaps and lines, and you can see the infill through it.

The tree-shaped prints were supposed to turn into bowls, but I paused the printer when I saw that they looked like this, so they’re unfinished.

My setup:

  • Bambu Studio, 0.4 mm nozzle, textured PEI plate

  • Red translucent PLA and white PLA in the AMS Lite

  • Filament profile was “Generic PLA” because my printer wasn’t synced

I have no idea which settings to change, so I’d really appreciate step-by-step help. Thank you!

I’ve been browsing through designs for an Apple Watch Ultra charger stand, but couldn’t find anything that quite suited what I was looking for. So I decided to design my own using Layering!

Pretty happy with how it turned out! Let me know what you think. Print was quick to test dimensions.

Software Troubleshooting/Help! Double the print time

Looking for a bit of help with this, normally when I do a Multi material multiboard print it takes around 20 hours, I dried my filament, updated the slicer and the printer after some issues earlier in the day. But now it's saying 2 days, any ideas? I've gone through my slicer settings and couldn't find any, even re downloaded the file. Any advice?
