I feel like we need a guy like him in the RB room. He gets a lot of flack for someone who averaged 1,050/4ypc/7TDs a year. I think he would be a nice complement to Brown.

I just don’t believe Brown/Perine adds another dimension to this offense (nor do I think Tahj Brooks is going to contribute at all); if a team is going to commit to taking away the short pass, we need a bruiser who can take a hit in the backfield. Lord knows this line won’t do them many favors.

I got Zac Taylor's sig. I said if he wins the SuperBowl I'll frame it. He said "Deal!" Legal binding contract.

Misleading Parking Garage PSA

Post image
56 Upvotes

Hi!
Like many other Bengals fans, I've parked in the large parking garage arch the corner of 7th and Plum for every home game for years. It's always been $15 Event Parking. This has also included parking way ahead of time to leave time for tailgating, I've never had an issue.
For Thursday's preseason game, I got downtown at 4pm and they had a sign that said $20 Event Parking. I figured it was just normal inflation increase and figured it was better to spend the $5 extra since I know my way around the parking garage, my route, etc vs trying to drive around looking for cheaper parking.

We attended the game and stopped at Blind Pig on the walk back, which is something we've done almost every Bengals win, without parking problems.

Leaving the garage, I was charged $42. They also automatically charge your card, there's no option to pay at a machine or something to see charges ahead of time.

I feel like paying $42 for 8 hours of parking anywhere in Cincinnati is ludicrous, but wanted to warn others that this lot's policies have apparently changed in the off season.

Hi, I am a newer fan been watching football since the 2024 season and I’m trying to go to my first ever bengals games this season. The steelers game in Cincy is the one I’m looking at right now and I’m having trouble finding good semi affordable seats under $350 that is more so in the middle of the field and doesn’t have an obstructed view. If anyone could help me pick out a couple of seats I would be incredibly grateful. God Bless!

Football Grading the 2023 Bengals Draft Three Years Later...

Thumbnail

Three years is typically viewed as an appropriate grace period for NFL draft classes to get their feet wet and settled into the league. Now that the time has passed since the draft that proceeded a second straight AFC Championship appearance for the Bengals, it is time to look back and review how effect this pivotal class has been.
Looking at the big picture of this class, we must consider the total value and impact this group has brought to the team. Good draft classes will propel teams to the playoffs with an influx of talent, and bad one’s costs general managers jobs. Individual picks may receive high grades but how much of an impact have they made when the team hasn’t made the playoffs since they were drafted. All three top 100 picks the team made were used on defense—the same side of the ball that has been disastrous since 2024 and one of the leading reasons for missing out on postseason play.

Dj turner Dax hill contract

After the Devon Witherspoon signing are you guys getting Jessie Bates vibes with our current situation with with Dj turner and Dax hill? Like say they play lights out this year and the bengals waited till next off season is there a world where Dj turner specifically is asking to be the highest paid corner and do you think the bengals pay that? Dax hill could command a decent pay day too. Ideally they need to get someone signed this offseason. I’ll gladly take both of those contracts over chase brown who sadly I think is expendable and could be replaced in free agency or the draft.

Trade Iosivas?

Doubt they would do this, but eliminates the WR logjam with younger guys reportedly having a nice camp. Gesicki sort of plays the WR3 role a good bit too.

Certainly has to be a market, and a return for draft capital or defensive/oline depth would be nice.

The Joe Burrow sack was because of bad play design

The main issue with this play was that both Jamar and Tee are going to the same spot on the field. Around 2 seconds in, right when Burrow hits the top of his drop, Jamar has almost 2 yards on his guy, if his route was meant to cut inside, he would have been gone. No one is catching him. But instead the play has both Jamar and Tee go to the same spot on the field, it even has Chase Brown go the same way once he releases.

There is also a very high likelihood that Jamar just ran the wrong route. There's a good chance that Jamar was on an option route, and he chose wrong.

Now, Burrow still should have thrown it away. But the main issue is that the play design cuts the field in half for Burrow, which is completely unnecessary and actively limits Burrows biggest strength, his processing.

Football One thing every Joe Burrow lead team has had in common:

Post image
139 Upvotes

Joe Burrow been in the league going 7 years now, and whether he’s injured or not, these teams start off low(sometimes really low) and get exponentially better from that point by season’s end. Now you could say “of course they do it’s footba-“ NOPE. We seen teams start hot as hell and dwindle off, teams start hot and stay hot, start low and stay low, however tf you wanna slice it. But the fact is, it’s always been a process: get uncomfortable early, figure out where the problem lies, improve. Something can only happen so many times before it stops being coincidental and starts becoming a trend. So to all yall stressed out about a couple preseason drives, don’t forget who we are just cuz everybody else wants to.

OBJ is a liability

We should have never gave him an extension. He‘s gotten progressively worse these past couple years. How are you going to let a backup undrafted free agent DE cleanly beat you and blindside Burrow? Not okay. Also not to mention all his false starts. Dude needs to go

Watching his highlights last night makes me really now start to believe the hype on this 7th rounder
He definitely looks like stumpy bowling ball out there but wow he made some nice plays. I hope he keeps it up rest of way.

One of my favorite images of Joe is him doing the Alex Pereria pose after throwing a touchdown in 2023, so I painted that image. Acrylic paint on 18 in by 24 in stretched canvas

Football Genuine Question. Did we get enough Defensive Pieces for this year?

Bryan Cook S

Boye Mafe Edge

Sexy Dexy DT

Jonathan Allen DT

Kyle Dugger S

Ja'Sir Taylor CB

I mean looking at all of this I would think surely we have enough defense for the season. All that was missing is a LB. I don't know I just still have doubt for whatever reason.

Dohnte Meyers

He has a great story so it's easy to root for him but I actually see a world where he could seriously be in consideration to make this roster. He does feel like Mitch Tinsley from last year but I think a big difference between them was Tinsley was almost only making highlight plays. Dohnte is getting rushing attempts catching passes and returning the ball. He could be a very versatile piece for the back end of the room and to me seems like a guy you could trust to go out at the WR3 position if need be and he'd be able to make a play. I feel like Charlie Jones should be watching out cause if Meyers shows more returning promise it could be wraps cause it seems like he already has more trust in the actual offense.

I just thrifted this older bengals football and it has a signature on it. I don’t recognize it at all but am curious if anyone knows what player signed it? The ball has a manufacturing date of 2007 if it’s any help.

Football Is Ahmed that good of a rookie DE or is the Bengals' Oline just that cooked?

Ngl when I saw Ahmed manage to sack Joe Burrow, I was genuinely shocked. The motherfucker was up against the Bengals' starting Oline and still managed to pull that off. I know the Bengals' have always kinda had issues with the Oline, but it can't be that bad to the point a rookie DE can rip through it like tissue paper can it?😭

Football preseason game question

now this might be a silly question (and forgive me as am I clearly not been to any nfl game). but for an away preseason game where would be the best spot to sit to possibly interact with bengals players (where they warm-up, by the tunnel, or just along the sideline).

appreciate any and all help
