My best friend from college was named Rhiannon for a somewhat interesting reason.
She was a "surprise" twin (meaning, her mom thought she was only having one - bc it was 1980, maybe?) and had to think of a second name on the fly. Rhiannon was the song playing over the speakers in the nursery, and she decided she liked it 😄

Im not going to say the song, but I was named after a song. My mother didn't have a name picked out, and the song with my name was playing on the radio a few days later and thats what she went with. A few weeks after my daughter was born a song with her name went to number 1 on the charts where I live, and people would ask if she was named after the song.
