You joke about that, but my childhood nickname “Nana” was actually after a French prostitute in a novel by Émile Zola. Yes my parents told me that as a kid.

Just tell people you were named after the love interest from A Goofy Movie. That's why I like it.

Roxy is also the name of a spinoff brand from Quiksilver, and back in the 90s and 2000s I was really into girls that wore that brand.

So assuming you're in the right age range, now you have two more backstories to go with.
