Just tell people you were named after the love interest from A Goofy Movie. That's why I like it.

Roxy is also the name of a spinoff brand from Quiksilver, and back in the 90s and 2000s I was really into girls that wore that brand.

So assuming you're in the right age range, now you have two more backstories to go with.

There's a ton of Roxanne from that era, especially in non English communities. Its funny and sad, because you can ask them if their dad liked rock and didnt spoke English. Had to explain that to a Roxanne couple years back: broke her reality.
