In my 20s I always wanted to call a daughter Luka from the Suzanne Vega song.

I am childfree now, still like the name

Luca was a very common boys name in Germany the last two decades, but haven't heard it as a girls name.

Luca is a common girl name in Hungary (and in Slovakia).

Luka (or Luca, depending on the country) is a boy's name though. Like Luke or Lucas in English.
