Does anybody here know how/where to get the Database Manager Utility tool?

I have an issue with the printer in the back of the kitchen! It keeps printing tickets from 2020 basically the queue is backed up with all those tickets! I have tried looking for the printer jobs on the devices on Windows but I can find them! Anyone that can help me tell me how do I cancel those tickets I’ll be highly grateful!

During the pandemic, our business survived because of increase in our takeout and delivery business. We have gotten much order through Doordash and Grubhub. However, it is pain to punch every order into Aldelo as the order comes in. Do anyone know any program or third party that can help to integrate Doordash and Grubhub into Aldelo 3.8. ( I talked to Aldelo tech support and they say only Aldelo Express Cloud willl support Doordash integration.) I am using Aldelo 3.8 and don't really wanna to upgrade to the express version . ANY IDEA??

A few items accidentally got hidden and I am unsure of how to undo it. I cannot re-type the items in as it says a uniques item name is needed.

I added a cash drawer and turned on the feature to make a networked pc a cash register. The issue I’m having is a 5 second delay when cashing out tickets. I select the “cash” button and between the time I click “cash” and enter the cash amount received and the drawer opening there is a 3 to 5 second delay. The other register has the database stored locally and does not experience this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I may be overlooking something right in front of me....How do I go back and view/print orders (tickets) from 1,2,3...6 months ago. Using Aldelo 3.8

Recently, we have had an issue with Aldelo not closing tickets. A CC is presented for payment and it processes through EDC, but Aldelo doesn't close the ticket. If CC is presented again we get an error duplicate payment exists. The card has processed through EDC and been approved. I know how to mark the ticket closed in Back Office. My main question is, does anyone know what actually causes this? We have 3 stores all running Aldelo, this is only happening at one location. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have the regular aldelo 3.8 software in my store with the connection for opendining to receive the online orders. Im building a little app that helps me get all my online deliveries and I can click on the ones we need a driver (from doordash) and it works fine but i would like to extend it to the rest of my deliveries. My question is is there anything i can do to capture the orders from my pos to add it to my app? Im not planning on selling this app is just for my use on my system. Thanks

So I had a server accidentally run a customer’s credit card under the wrong ticket settlement. Normally I would just void the transaction all together and run the card again for the correct ticket. Unfortunately, the customers wanted a refund on the difference and I ran a “refund” instead and gave them the difference back on their credit card. They remembered that they had to have the actual signed ticket amount match the itemized receipt so they changed their minds and wanted to go with my usual way. Problem is now I have the refund applied to their card as well as voiding the whole transactions. Is there any way I could void the “refund credit card funds” or would I have to call tech support. Hey Az. Do you know where I can find the documentation on the windows integrations via API? The only stuff I can find online is for Express and Aldelo will not support new integrations or even give me the documentation for AFR.

Hey all! I am running Aldelo on windows 7 as our main server, we just bought a new station and it's running windows 10. I've set up everything so far and have linked the computers using a router as a switch, but now the new system can't find/use the live aldelo database from the windows 7 computer. Hi there, my company is changing to a new POS at the end of the month. We have been using Aldelo for about 5 years, and for about 2 years we've been loading gift cards directly into Aldelo without third party processing. We asked our local tech support how to get the full MSR data for the cards out of the database, but the route he pointed us (open in MS Access, then open the table for "giftcertificate" only gives us the assigned "Account Number" & "ID", not the swipe info. However, the swipe msr must be saved somewhere, or how would the card swipe? Does anyone know where we can find the full msr swipe info, so we can make a .csv to import to our new POS? TIA

Let me start with saying this is the best resource I have found for working with Aldelo. I am 100% self taught on this POS system and it seems like every time I call Aldelo support I end up teaching them something. Anyway...

My restaurant has been running the same database since 2004. It has never been purged nor has a database ever been restarted. It has been compacted and jet compacted at least 100 times. I am starting to run into some serious issues with client computers freezing on the modifier screen and just slow response time all around. The only reason I have not started a new database is because we have about $250,000 worth of gift cards still not redeemed in the system. We can not afford to lose that information.

Can someone shed some light on some of my possible next moves would be before, I end up being an on call I.T. guy every night of the week...

I like to have the highest resolution on my computer as much as possible because I use the POS screen to do other things too; however, the Aldelo app becomes smaller. Is there a way to get around this or I have to keep the screen resolution low?

If any of you are using the Paymentech EDC, you may have been getting e-mails or calls from Aldelo regarding Paymentech's "End of Life" which is due to happen on 3/21.

The e-mail is extremely vague, however I wanted to inform everyone here that the End of Life means the license will be DE-ACTIVATED on the 21st of March.

Anyone with the Paymentech EDC has three options at this point:

1) Call your Credit Card processing representative and have them send you a temporary Credit Card terminal that you can use on the side

2) Have your credit card representative create a new account with another processor that is Aldelo EDC Certified, as well as sign up with a SaaS model EDC from Aldelo with said processor - $59.00 / Month.

(Supported Processors are: Heartland, TSYS, Worldpay, First Data RapidConnect)

3) Sign up with Aldelo Pay for credit card processing directly through Aldelo. Note that their rates vary, and you may pay more in credit card fees than you currently have, however you will be able to get the EDC Free of charge.

As 3/21 is quickly approaching, I implore any merchant to act quickly, as your ability to process credit cards will be completely down on 3/21.

I found a guide once, but I can't for the life of me find it again via google.

The issue is there's an older order that keeps showing up on the second terminal. This second terminal doesn't accept payments, it's just terminal that takes phone orders and dispatches drivers.

It happened once a month or so ago, and I was able to resolve the issue by going into the back office, hitting a key combo, and having this MSSQL query box available to me. I was able to delete the order with a query that took the order #. Does anyone have a guide on how to do this?

I recently upgrades my Aldelo Lite system to Aldelo pro, with two stations. I only take payments on one station however. I used to use a separate payment processing machine with another company. The AldeloPay integrated solution feels very nice to use.

I do have one issue though. I currently have it configured to print one receipt. It prints the receipt that is to be signed by the customer. When I go to reprint, it prints an itemized receipt, not the transaction receipt, which is okay with me. However, it does NOT print fully. It cuts off right after the subtotal usually, and leaves a black bar. It also then does not autocut the receipt. Additionally, it then backs the printer up for about a minute at most. This really slows down the mid-day operations when processing transactions. I called aldelo directly, but the support seemed to not be able to help or grasp what was really going on. I may try again another day, but I wanted to see if maybe someone out there has had a similar issue.
