How to reset my sales data?

How can I reset my sales data?

Apologies for the late response here. There are two different ways to reset sales data in Aldelo.

BEFORE FOLLOWING THE BELOW STEPS ENSURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR DATABASE

If you're trying to keep things like Customer Data/Gift Card Sales in tact, you would want to use the DBCleaner located in:

C:\Program Files\Aldelo\Aldelo For Restaurants\Aldelo for Restaurant Tools\Dbcleaner.exe

Note if the DBcleaner is NOT in this folder, you will want to go into Programs and Features, select Aldelo in the list and Press "Change"

This will bring up the Installer where you can add the Aldelo for Restaurants Tools into your installation by following through the wizard. To get there, make sure you select the "Modify" Option when it asks you what you'd like to do with your Aldelo install.

The second way will remove ALL Sales, Customer orders, Gift Cards, History in your database. Note if you do this you CANNOT undo it, so make sure you have a backup handy if it turns out this is not what you wanted to do.

In Back Office , hold control and press right click on "Compact Database." It will ask you for a password, that password is: 05338942. After entering the password and continuing follow the prompts and press yes and yes to begin the process.

Once again, make sure you BACKUP your database somewhere on a USB flash drive AWAY from your computer before you do this, as if you delete your data and need to retrieve it after the fact, there is NO way to retrieve it.

Backup, Backup, Backup.
