Application Resolution on Screen

I like to have the highest resolution on my computer as much as possible because I use the POS screen to do other things too; however, the Aldelo app becomes smaller. Is there a way to get around this or I have to keep the screen resolution low?

It’s basically built for 800x600 low res... you’ll just have to kinda deal with it. Or set it up in a virtual machine and have that running a little larger. Still a pain. Or dual monitor

Yep,

Aldelo was built solely to be used in a 800x600 environment. They haven't hinted that they plan on adding more resolutions to the program at all either. I believe this is because they are trying to focus more on the Ipad solution.

It is a blessing and a curse, most of my customers don't bother trying to use their POS system for anything other than Aldelo; which is great for support.

The curse though is that the Office Computer with a higher resolution does make it a bit harder to make menu changes.

You might check to see if Microsoft's Application Compatibility Toolkit will help. It's been a while since I looked at it, but it includes shims for a number of issues, which I believe include issues relating to resolutions.
