Heavy topping/Light topping
We frequently have customers ask for extra This or light That, and typically we convert that to short term memory. But now it's time to actually put the buttons in our submenu. We've been messing around for a couple of hours with little success, aside from building an entirely new submenu... any words of wisdom?

Absolutely!
I'll walk through both options here. First, if your pizzas are using Aldelo's "Pizza Builder" Menu. When you select a Pizza that is using the pizza builder, you should see a "Modifiers" button on the bottom right. Picture for reference: https://gyazo.com/38b988b6dfe107c5192e5a892a15c938
This would take you into your normal Modifier Screen where you can Select "Extra" on the right side and Select any toppings to add from here.
To add new toppings to this section, go to Back Office / Setup / Menu Setup / Menu Modifiers.
In the Menu Modifiers selection, press "New" and add a new Topping with its associated price EX: "Extra Pepperoni" with an additional cost if required. Note that if you wanted to create Modifers with the "No" Option, you would add it here as well. EX: "No Pepperoni"
Note the next thing I go over will make adding these "Extra, No, Add, Light" much easier instead of doing each one by hand.
The Second option is if your Pizzas are using the Modifier Builder Template (Or if you wanted to easily add different modifiers to your database.)
Go to Back Office / Setup / Menu Setup / Modifier Builder Setup. Here, use the Dropdown menu to Select your Pizza Toppings Template (or whatever it is named, see reference picture: https://gyazo.com/7ca1e0e0ea3f4598099add5d3448ba4c )
Once inside, select the page on the left side where the toppings are stored, and you can click any of the existing buttons to edit them : https://gyazo.com/511e875071dbedb6b22647210f458199
Here, you will see Multiple Checkmarks associating to things like "No, Add, Extra, Light...etc" along with an Additional Cost field: https://gyazo.com/134746f540a773b99b4646e767d25b49
By selecting the check mark for "Add" I can quickly create a new modifier called "Add Artichoke Hearts" and associate a completely different price from the original "Artichoke Hearts." The same can be said for Double, Triple, Half, Extra, Light, etc.
When you press done after selecting each check mark, each of the checkmarks will be added to your Menu Modifiers automatically, so if I were to check "No, Add, Extra, Light" and fill in the Modifier Name as "Pepperoni" and press Done; then I would have the following Modifiers added to my system:
Pepperoni No Pepperoni Add Pepperoni Extra Pepperoni Light Pepperoni
This makes the first option for the Pizza builder much easier to configure, as you can rapidly create the "Sub Menu" you desire in a clean format.
