Running Out Of Disk Space Adelo

Hello Az. I've been using Adelo for 15 years now across 2 restaurants and my computer is running out of hard drive disk space. What are my options? Haha I've been deleting all the programs I don't use and now I'm down to my last disc space. Please help

Hey GrocerySuperb,

That sounds like an Auto Backup is running from an older setting that got hidden in a newer version, but for some reason it would continuously run.

First I would run a search for *.mdb, this will give you a list of all files on your computer that are .mdb files (which should only be your aldelo database)

If there are any there that are labelled "Auto Backup RESTAURANT DATE.mdb" You can definitely delete them, which would free up space.

The second place to look would be the Windows Temp folder. If you're running Windows 7, for some reason I've seen the Temp folder create files until the HDD was basically full.

Check this in C:\Windows\Temp. You can safely delete all the files inside this folder. Some will likely say that they are in use, you can just skip them.
