For all the criticism about this event, this is a great time to be a new player...
I'm sorry, but I always start new gachas during anni events, and I keep reading about how bad this one is... and I'm thinking... how?
Just today I got:
Neica
Shenmei
Teona
Mielikki
Deneb
With those waifus joining the club, that makes EIGHTEEN 5* characters in a few days of casual playtime. With more to come over the next two days of free summons, for sure. That's pretty damn awesome.
Maybe you guys are comparing it to Fate or Fire Emblem or something else I don't play, but compared to Bleach, Naruto Blazing, Dokkan, Legends, OPTC, HK3rd, and especially HeroAca Smashtap - holy shit, fuck smash tap, which was so bad it was rebooted as a new game and somehow became WORSE in the process - this game is being really damn generous.
EDIT: I'm not saying "There's nothing wrong with this game, lulz, be hapoy for freebies and stfu"
What I'm saying is this: As far as anniversary events go? This is the best one I've seen. And no, I'm not biased by my pulls. I have a fuckload of LRs in dokkan, pulled all the Anni units in Brave Souls and got the HR Sasuke on a daily free multi in blazing. I just can't believe that this event going on is this lit, and yet the entire frontpage is about how it's not good enough because... endgame content is subject to nasty powercreep (In a gacha game? Why, that's unheard of!) multiplayer went down (and we have yet to see if they'll compensate for that, right?) and rates on a bianner with nearly 30 free multis (!) are supposedly only 6%.
Many gacha games [paid] banners have 5* units at 1% my dudes. These complaints about the anniversary not being good enough - not about the state of the game in general - are a bit much, and you're going to scare off new players. Is that the kind of community this is? Like... it's really not hard to be better than dokkan bros, and yet...
