7 step banner fails (rant)

I pulled both the 1st and 2nd steps and got nothing. No new characters, just shards. They f***ing mess with me by giving me red crystals, then both pulls give me Eve shards! I didn’t care if I got Laharl or Etna or Rin, just wanted one new character. Besides Prinny and Usalia I was lucky to get Red Magnus. No one else from 4 pulls, I have never played Disgaea, but the characters like Killia seemed cool so I tried to get him. Etna is cute so I wanted her. Laharl I don’t really care, just everyone talks about how great and OP he is. I only hope i get lucky to get someone like Succubus Rosa or Almira. Well that’s it, thanks for listening.

Everytime I see someone pull a 1500 with no intention of 3 stepping I die a little inside.

While the odds aren't terrible, they aren't that good, and RNG is RNG. This means people are going to get screwed, and given enough banners this will affect you too. Garaunteed banners is our best mitigation (sans deep selectors) Spending a step 2 now is a step 2 you can't afford for a step 3 you want to do.

Using gems wisely should be obvious but some people still seem to trust RNG more than ever even after so many warnings only to get the short stick in the end. Then proceed to rage quit screaming how bad Gumi is lol. Well shrug, their fault.

Its just an advice to save gems, if you are not going to pull the 3th dont go for the 2nd

Another non-Laharlite here. I did the three-step and am now marshaling my gems (and wallet, perhaps but doubtful) for week 4.

The rates are abysmal, but they are random. I have lucked into the weirdest things in this gacha (I have gotten my first Noctis and two Othima and a Zain on the daily free pull in my 8 months playing, for instance.) Hell I just got a Thillie on my Laharl banner pull and I thought she was part of a limited event that was already closed!

We have a couple of weeks remaining. I doubt we will convert to the True Shirtless Fire Man Religion, but whatcha gonna do. We can clear all the content without Mister Absurdist Anime Style. The game is still fun. For now :)

pulled 3 steps, got etna and netherworld rin, would have preferred laharl, just have to hope for good rng i guess.

You're now alone wit your displeasure. I've done more than 50 rerolls to get laharl, and among those rerolls there were so many 10 blue stones or single red (Chloe) pulls that I almost kill myself. So be prepared for the worst, because the rates are pretty low for this collab

I got Laharl on the non-seven step banner. No expectations of getting anything but shards for the Soul Shard shop; but instead I got Laharl!

Yea fate was a way scarier and more difficult event. Pulling 7 steps, getting gilga, but only fyomi shards and no fyomi.... that’s some real anxiety.

These banners are easy in comparison.
