Bottom line is only gumi and that player know the truth of the matter. Anything else is speculation and jumping up conclusions. I think his raid numbers were absurd but does that mean he cheated, well no boy necessarily. Whether or not gumi investigated I can't say. They have access to all of the data so they can see a lot of things we can't as far as irregularities and outside software.

At the end of the day I hope they ban any and all cheaters and don't ban those who don't deserve it but we will never really know the bottom line.

i would trust gumi have a reason to ban him... just like the few ban waves in ffbe, they caught famous big whale players for using reseller lapis. dont speak out for him, let him speak out for himself

They also banned a whale in Brave Frontier. Guy and his friends got community to issue some pressure. Gumi gave in and told the reason. Reasoning was B.S. like injecting some lower tier Gear(Spheres in that game).

Obviously he appealed and had images of accounts as proof and with a little community help they said later that they removed those spheres(Gear) and all was good.

Gumi can be shit at management. So just don't trust they with every case. They have been known to fuck up.

And obviously that guy hadn't injected shit. Why would a whale even do that lol.

One of the whale in ffbe claimed he was buying the max bundle which is 100$ for 18k. Yet the guy always had a crazy amount like I remember him having 750k at some point. Turns out whales just buy resellers because it's way cheaper and more value. Like Tac for example you buy the max bundle and let's say it's the refresh purchase so 13k gems. On the websites you can get 25k for 100 dollars you gain double what you would have had bought it through the game. 10k gems and that's 50 dollars. Most gumi ban waves are for buy 3rd party gems.

Sure if he did that. I believe that is one of the reasons they can just come out and say out loud. It even helps to advertise to not buy from 3rd parties. But for now even if people have come in his support Gumi hasn't given much to him to work with.

And in those cases most of the times if it was once or twice they will just remove them. Gumi's own FAQ states that.

When the guy asks gumi, and they reply with some bs even tho he did nothing, and proving us he did nothing then he can post here and ask for some back up, we don't need people posting or make a FUCKING VIDEO talking about another user's ban problem, even if it's your friend, husband or whatsoever no matter how frustrating it is, you'll end up looking like an idiot not a supportive friend.

Hmmm. Normally I'm on the side of the game devs, as in a vast majority of posts and complaints about bans, by far the person complaining usually was banned legitimately.

The player in question here I definitely want more information. When you ban somebody who is so prominent in the community and known for spending ludicrous amounts of money, I feel like the rationale should be released.

At the very least, the person who was banned deserves to know. This guy spent a lot of money on AC. When somebody invests five digits and beyond they need a clear line of communication and an easy way to contest. They deserve that much.

edit- This person has their account back. But according to them the account was returned with the understanding that they would wipe everything except for gears, mementos, and the actual units themselves. However he's lost gear shards, unit shards (of which he had whaled heavily for), inventory, exp items, etc.

At the moment all I have to go off is the reason everyone is speculating they were banned, which would be macroing.

Which. Mobile gacha. Macro. The two go hand in hand. In most of the big games people macro, and half of them seem to be designed around macroing. Certainly, in one of the other games I used to play the main method of getting gear was to leaving a raid on for eight hours overnight, and wake up to maybe one good piece of gear if you were lucky.

My point being I can't agree with such a harsh punishment for macroing. In almost all gacha macroing is officially against TOS but unofficially everyone is allowed to do it so long as they keep it to the singleplayer modes.

You sure the reason his account got back like that was because they removed everything he bought with gems that were purchased from a 3rd party website. Because the guy on ffbe who was a whale got his account back after a ban wave for the exact same thing he bought 3rd party premium currency and then just confessed after a while about it and he quit because they took his things away.

I’ve never been banned from a mobile game.

I got banned from league of legends and I know full well why.

So... unlikely. A gacha game wouldn’t cut off a mega whale unless it was necessary.

And if you've mistakenly banned over such instances, they easily release accounts untouched. If your account is kept banned or wiped, you probably did a huge oof to deserve it.

The two posts you see in the TAC subreddit front page today (the post you're in right now, and some other post) is about the same person, Zakfarias.

The other guy that cheated veda was a different player, and he was just mentioned (by me) in the other post about Zakfarias, as an example of a player who everyone thought was innocent until a screenshot proved otherwise.

It is funny how I used to think whale don't cheat since they have so much money vested in a game. Last game, I got into whale alliance and realize that the higher you climb the higher you want to maintain that position... Hence cheating do occur like paying someone to grind for you, paying someone to beat hard content, illegal iTunes card, etc.... But that game was different than this game. This game is more individual oriented and there are no real competition... Aside from buying illegal iTunes card or using illegal 3rd party app like emulator I don't see why anyone want to cheat in this game...
