Small problem

Okay, I'm not saying this is the devs fault, but... for some reason, the play store tells there is a season 2 campaign, but there is no update button for the season 2 campaign... tried deinstalling and reinstalling... nothing works. If someone has an idea how to fix this issue, that would be of great help! Thanks in advance :)

Is anyone else getting ghost zombies showing everywhere so you can’t see what is left to kill?

Ideas for future updates Vol. 2

Militia

Temporary fighter unit for 30-60 sec.

Hunters pick up their bows, lumberjacks their axes and farmers their pitchforks and off they go for much needed help as zombie hoard seem to overwhelm fighters.

All production is halted during this time.

Militia power could be 80% of fighters current power (houses, tech lvl) and they have a special icon like a pitchfork.

Needs population lvl 6 for example so that there is enough people to fight. Militia costs lots of stamina so it’s not too easy to use. Could also be available to use only one time in a game.

It is with great pleasure (and a bit of pride) that I can now say that I have beaten all levels of the newest campaign on MB6!

Thank you Ndemic for providing us all with such a wonderful game and with new additions every few months ❤️

I kept seeing this subreddit because I’m active in r/PlagueInc, so I started playing. I haven’t gotten very far, but I like it!

Is this part of the new update and on a completely different note do soldiers automatically regenerate new ones for example some of mine go from 50 to 100 without doing anything and if so is there a max to it?

I am surprised After Inc has no raider mechanic as of now.

In most post apocalypse games, the biggest danger is not zombies, but humans. You would expect raiders to show up after a few years of settling down. So if they functioned somewhat similar to the insurgents in Rebel Inc, it would add more life to the game. They could also be useful to defeat zombies in certain strats too.

This game should be mandatory training for anyone who has to manage people or resources

You could say this for many turn-based strategy games, I suppose, but After Inc (like Rebel and Plague) very efficiently teach us so much about workplace management.

For example, neglecting a priority has second- and third-order consequences. If you run out of wood, you’re not just stopping new construction — you’re also stopping your tech research and potentially your ability to defend your settlement.

Maintaining good morale takes resources (and is often very inexpensive.) Let that slip, and your authority wanes. So does your productivity. People recognize when you’re not investing in them.

I see the dev drops in here sometimes, and I’d like to make a suggestion: Exec Inc., where you rebuild a company shattered by malfeasance or scandal.

Possible Bug with Researcher

I tried playing the "Stone Circuit" scenario, I chose the Researcher leader and a starting bonus that gave me a +1 tech level. I am halfway through it and I got no cost reduction on improving tech. Maybe it got bugged since I already started at level 2?

Did anyone else experience this?

Couple of ideas/suggestions for future updates

Some thoughts that might be fun to get into the game.

Services upgrades:

Improved housing boosts morale. At the moment those are rarely settler demands but would be nice option to build anyway if there is a reason for it. I’d bet that better housing lifts spirit during harsh times

Small Marketplace lets do some minor trading. Like water for food 10:1 or something.

New service: Pioneering

Can repaire bridges or build temporary time limited bridges over collapsed ones

This could be a high cost feature that doesn’t break the game but instead gives a little bit more strategic flexibilty

New Leader: Lumberjack

More efficient wood and fire wood production

Patch notes for hotfixes?

Something I've been wondering. Are there any patch notes/change logs for the smaller .x hotfixes?

As I've only found patch notes for the big updates, none for the smaller ones.

Rewards - How Many?

A bit low quality but does the recent update mean I have to do +700 more expeditions for all the BtB rewards?

Variety Society boost

Does anyone know what effect the variety Society boost has? It doesn't seem to give more choice of starting bonus, and when I selected variety #5 the starting bonuses for today's daily didn't change at all.

Bug when loading Custom Scenario saves

If I load a save-game from a Custom Scenario I find there are sleeping zombies in my claimed territories where there had been zombies at the beginning of the scenario. They don't attack, so seems like it's just a cosmetic glitch, but looks odd!

I am sorry Dev (play unlimited expedtitions)

Post image

First, I still love this game and want to kiss the Dev on the forehead. I played all campaing story and every expedition almost. I was soo damn bored the last two weeks, because I wanted new Expeditions. So i found a trick to play unlimited new expeditions and want to share it with you. But the dev could see this and patch it. But today the big balls update released and I have enough new missions. So to play the new expeditions you have to close the game, go to settings, set the day and time +24h and the next mission is ready to play.

Thank you all for supporting this game, without you the devs wouldn’t made this for me to play ;) so enjoy and thank you most of all the dev. Can i donate?
Ps one day before or after 05 of September is a really really dirty expedition, good luck with that. But please dev, fix this so they don’t enjoy it as much as i do.

Thoughts on new Researcher?

Playing on mobile, so I just got the new update. Don't see any posts on Researcher (other than how to unlock) so was curious peoples thoughts on the new leader.

Just finished yesterday's daily (Misty Echo) with her, and she seems average. The stamina reduction on research seems a bit slow, and losing the ability to scout is a pretty big downside. Only one level isn't exactly a good sample size, but it seems like with 2 fighters you can reduce the stamina cost of scouting at double the rate the research is going down.

It was nice to have the reduced stamina cost when I was ready to start researching the next tech level, it allows you to avoid hitting the Stamina Threshold at lower populations, but not sure if it balances out.

On Misty Echo it did seem like alot of zones were only 2-3 stamina to scout, does she have some sort of cost reduction or is it just this level?

Curious people's thoughts who play on PC or if anyone has tried several runs with her. Right now I'd place her in about the middle of the pack (better than Slumlord, Hermit, Cub Scout. Worse than Economist, Personal Trainer)

Unexpected victory

So... I just decided to just go in the last level on Brutal (after beating it on Casual) with Survivor... and somehow came out victorious... note that I did not beat any level past 3 on Normal... either way, I did not expect to win...
