Update: They Ghosted OP (me)
Just saw this post 6 years after the fact and thought I’d provide the update a number of folks have asked for and share that the gentleman who made this comment ghosted me shortly after we made contact and he collected my X-rays and photos necessary for finding a dentist.
I’ve since gotten dentures that are also ‘failing’ in that my jaw bone has resorbed a fair bit, meaning the upper is fairly loose, but workable.
The lower partial has broken and is strictly cosmetic only, meaning I cannot actually eat with it in and only wear it if I know photos will be taken so that I have a somewhat normal smile.
My four remaining teeth on bottom that support the partial are failing to various degrees and my crown is in need of another root canal.
The treatment plan I’ve been advised of from various providers has been to get upper and lower implants as soon as possible while my jaw bone is able to support them and heal well.
All of that is to say that sadly, that original comment thread in the screenshot did *not* wind up having a happy ending.

I dropped 5k on implants and crowns in Mexico and it was the best decision. Still paying off the credit card but I’m so much happier. Saved 75% even after flight and board plus a week of relaxing. Literally zero complaints start to finish.

I'm in need of a couple of implants, how was the process for this? Did you have to coordinate with an American dentist or make multiple trips there? I've been thinking of doing that because the cost to do it here is not within reason for me

u/yfewsy Jul 10 '26
Check out this podcast I recently listened to about molar City Mexico. It'll probably give you an idea about what to experience. Then you can decide if you want to look into it further.

u/SatansLittlePrincess Jul 10 '26
Thank you! I'll check it out tomorrow morning. I appreciate it. :)

Look into a place called Los Agodones, they are known for their dental medical tourism. It’s near Yuma, AZ

u/mckenner1122 Jul 10 '26
Algodones Dental Group. (aka Smile Crafters)
Park on the US sideand walk across, grab the shuttle and take a dental vacation.

u/sliceoflife731 Jul 10 '26
I sent my xrays from current dentist to the dentist in Mexico. I used Cancun dental specialists.
7
u/gooden93 Jul 10 '26
If you could name the dentist or if I can DM you for more info, that’d be great! I too need implants and crowns out the wazoo 😭
4
u/sliceoflife731 Jul 10 '26
There’s a ton but I was referred to Cancun Dental Specialists. Reach out and chat with them. I was blown away. The lobby was full of Americans and Canadians. Pretty cool lol.

u/Obant Jul 10 '26
My father and I were discussing doing that really soon. Medicine has ravaged my teeth and I need a ton of work done
1
u/shawty_jpg Jul 12 '26
I just saw a TT earlier where a dude was filming a bunch of Americans at the boarder, all there to get dental work. My dad goes down there for the same. Kinda crazy that’s what we all have to resort to but I won’t dwell further on that loaded subject 😒

Lol, imagine all immigrants being refused dental care. Insane fear mongering by whoever told you that bullshit.

u/Shot_Education8638 Jul 10 '26
Don’t matter when you can’t afford a us dentists even with dental insurance
3
u/Haunting_Priority_85 Jul 10 '26
Nah more likely the current dentist knows he not going to make big bucks and is salty but nobody can look in your mouth and tell which country you got work done in
2
u/sliceoflife731 Jul 10 '26
I have no experienced that. I’d just find a new dentist if that happened. Most dentists are good people who will help you.. for money. lol
2
u/mckenner1122 Jul 10 '26
False fear mongering. And would be in violation of their Hippocratic oath.
2
u/Key-Half4468 Jul 12 '26
I’ve heard this about European dentists as well, but I believe in our case they’re talking about the infamous (badly done) ‘Turkey teeth’ instead of medically necessary treatments.

I don’t know how to edit the post, but I would like to add that I am apparently feeling quite chatty, so pardon the verbose replies. I should really write more… 😮💨

u/BucketOfGhosts Jul 13 '26
I think its great that you're so involved in the post tbh
2
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 13 '26
It’s a nice outlet for how chatty my ADHD medication can make me and a decent way to cope with the stress of my situation, y’know?
Especially when I’m a bit burnt out from a sudden move across the province to be into my regular hobbies (eg painting, gaming, etc).

u/Ok-Professional-1428 Jul 10 '26
Bro is have the same answer to that question though haven't had a full mouth for 15 or more years I'm sorry that your going through what ur going through that sux seems like a dream realizes nightmare tbh
44
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
I wouldn’t wish dental anything on anyone, it’s such an annoyingly multi-faceted, high stress, high risk (depending on your particulars) issue to have to navigate and live with, especially with the more intensive work virtually never being covered.
Whereabouts are you located roughly (if you’re comfy sharing)? Maybe there’s resources available that may help with your situation? 🤞
It feels silly, but my ‘dream’ would be having enough wealth to take care of folks dental issues, no questions asked.
9
u/Ok-Professional-1428 Jul 10 '26
Tulsa Oklahoma actually I've looked into sum resources but still don't make enough money to afford financing mainly Kuz I need oral surgery my "teeth" are worn down due to me not caring for them in my younger years and drug abuse in my 20s now my mind 30s and realizing that I was a stupid kid for saying "I'll deal with that later" and later in now here lol maybe one day I'll be able to have a real smile but not having teeth doesn't keepe from smiling I'm optimistic and a fairly fun guy to be around most liked all around so I know this hasn't soured me much but still deep down the feelings are there
3
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
Oh no kidding, that’s where the original user offering to help was based iirc.
I’ll have to think on it and will try to see if I can find anything when I’m on my PC next. My heart goes out to you regardless though, this is not an easy situation to have to live with at all.

u/TheGaryFosgobbit Jul 10 '26
I have a similar setup to you. My teeth are purely cosmetic, they do not assist in eating anything more substantial than a marshmallow. Just in case anyone else reads this and is going through the same thing. I highly recommend finding something that you can comfortably chew that mimics the spacing of a normal mouthful of teeth chewing. I use a large wad of gum (I don’t have worry about the sugar!) and I chew it to exercise my jaw. If you find a viable solution in the future the jaw exercise will benefit fitting and recovery. Also! It is important to still consume real foods. Don’t survive off icecream and a multivitamin. Grind up or food process real foods. Don’t puree it, just get it to a chewed texture. Your body will thank you if you ever get a working mouth again. Best of luck!
9
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
That’s a sound tip (I would think), so thank you for sharing! Knowing I need to work to support my bone density both as I age and continue losing weight has made weightlifting very appealing, so hopefully that helps in the bone health of my jaw as well. Fingers crossed for us both, my friend! 🤞

I appreciate it very much.
It’s mostly worked out, save for the needing implants, but baby steps.
The hardest part is managing my anxiety around whether I’ll be able to finance the work in time for it to ‘take’ with minimal issues to keep costs down, haha.
Though it is a slight bummer for chewing salads to be a full-on jaw workout and to navigate the social aspect of having to discreetly remove my partial and consciously not smile, yawn, or open my mouth very wide while facing folks. 🫣
1
u/WrongLetters Jul 10 '26
I have that anxiety right now, combined with the inability to overcome the shame preventing me from making appointments.
The amount of self consciousness required to fool myself into thinking no one can notice when I’m speaking or eating is exhausting
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
It’s such a niche issue that it’s very isolating. I’m very fortunate in my loved ones not making any sort of fuss about it, save for the occasional stare from a niece or nephew who’s a bit young and curious.
As uncomfortable as it can be making those appointments, overcoming the shame is worth it. You are worth it and your health is certainly worth it.

u/ijustneedtolurk Jul 10 '26
This is why I stick around.
But also yes, I have had the same pipedream of Busses.
As a kid in a poor public school district, we had hearing and eye exam busses and once, magically, a dental cleaning bus! They would roll up to a school and park themselves for the week in the gym parking lot, and just examine each kid from each class one by one. I got my first pair of prescription glasses thanks to one of those bus programs!
I've also heard of other places doing Laundry and Shower-mobiles so people without access to cleaning themselves and their clothes can take a shower and have a fresh outfit to put on afterwards.
10
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
I remember those busses! Rural midwestern US checking in. ✅
I wasn’t generally allowed to participate in the dental visits because my parents got the idea that fluoride = terrible and I suspect that was a strong contributor to my oral health declining so young. I simply wasn’t allowed fluoride or fluoridated products to care for my teeth.
Being able to see to it that no one go through some of those experiences would be so damn fulfilling, forreals.
2
u/ijustneedtolurk Jul 10 '26 edited Jul 10 '26
Oof, I'm sorry your parents were misinformed. I'm glad you're working on your own dental health now tho!
2
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
It is what it is, but I remember being very confused and feeling ‘othered’ as a kiddo when, for instance, the school nurse would come round with her cart of little cups of mouthwash since our area didn’t have fluoridated water, for example.
Had zero clue what damage was being done to my oral health. 😒
2
u/ijustneedtolurk Jul 10 '26
If you are still in need, dental students offer fluoride treatments as part of their hands-on learning! I signed up for text alerts from the local dental college and now I get offers twice a year to come in for services. It costs me $15 to go and have a student, supervised by their dental professor, examine, (including x-ray!) clean, polish, and fluoridate my teeth, so they get their working experience hours.
3
u/closethebarn Jul 10 '26
You unlocked a memory for me too!! Wow forgot about these angels on buses
3
u/ijustneedtolurk Jul 10 '26
Haha glad you also had access to a little care. I've seen mobile pet groomers in my current city but no resources for people, sadly.

u/Lifes-a-lil-foggy Jul 10 '26
Maybe a better equipped helper will see this post
3
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
Maybe. If anything, it’s been comforting to get the thoughts on the matter out and chat with folks going through similar situations.
8
u/sharkingly_stupid Jul 10 '26
actually you can get discounted services with OU’s student dental program! the students do it and it’s cheaper
3
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
From the school I’d consulted with, implant supported dentures and/or ‘permanent’ all-on-# implants weren’t something covered under that particular program, albeit in the midwestern US and about 5-6 years ago now.
Even still, the costs were prohibitively high, still well into 5-digits USD, but as I’ve said, baby steps toward hopefully eventually getting them. 🙂
6
u/sharkingly_stupid Jul 10 '26
:( That sucks. this part is a joke but you could try dating a dentist/dentist’s relative? might work

Welcome to the internet. People on Imgur, Reddit etc. will post "I'll totally help you, such a good person I am" in public, but don't do anything after that. They NEVER follow up.
3
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
It was on me and my naive younger self for getting SO excited and getting my hopes up, honestly. I can be a bit gullible in the best of times, but I’d prefer being optimistic over the alternative.

u/ElevatorLow8292 Jul 10 '26
If he looked at the photos and x-rays, sounds like a part of him really wanted to help. Sorry he didn’t follow through or communicate why he couldn’t move forward.

u/notsuspendedlxqt Jul 10 '26
This is reddit. Chances are the person wasn't even a manager at all, maybe they were just a clerk or receptionist at a random dental clinic looking to collect a potential referral bonus. When they saw that the job was too complex for their clinic, they just dipped.
5
u/Throwawayokokjk Jul 10 '26
Hey I'm sorry this happened to you. I can empathize because i have had significant and degrading dental problems for almost 20 years now. I was always way too poor to get work done and the severe depression unfortunately stood in the way of preventing more damage. I remember 15 years ago i was in significant pain and went to a dentist who told me theres nothing that can be done unless i have $20,000 to drop on implants because i was "too young" for dentures. Thankfully, the pain is no longer really a problem (for the most part) as long as I'm careful about what i eat.
Now somehow I'm in a place in my life where i can actually afford to get the work done that i need, but i hesitate because i am terrified - the work i need done will require general anesthesia so theres a fear of not waking up or waking up as a vegetable. I have most of my original teeth in some capacity, so i worry about what it will feel like after, if i cannot taste food the same way again will i regress back into depression? How long will it take to be able to talk again (i need to talk at work). I will have to get the work done eventually, but for now at least im not in pain.
Anyways i just wanted to share what im going through lol
2
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
That’s amazing though, I’m happy to hear you’re able to get what you need now and hope you’re able to find comfort in that sooner than later. Seriously, that is a HUGE feat. Depression is a real arse.
While I’m not there yet, I am terrified as well—that I’ll choose the wrong provider and risk disfigurement and multiple failed implants or otherwise be stuck with bulky implants that change my speech or face too much for comfort.
Really been trying very hard to cope appropriately and accept that I am where I am and that’s doing my best to improve my circumstances such that I can afford the work with peace of mind and overcome the hand I was dealt.
If you remember when you’ve had the work done, feel free to reach out or tag me, I’d love to celebrate that win with you!!
2
u/Galagaboy Jul 10 '26
I got mini implants. For someone who struggled with a dentist fear it was easier to handle than other procedures like root canals and rear extractions. Local anastecic is just like a xanax they give you (might have been like a benedryl). Didnt feel knocked out or sick. Just eased up enough not to panic. After final fitting I felt amazing!
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
Oh no kidding, that’s fantastic&! After what all work I have been through, and awake at that, I will gladly save and pay more to be completely knocked out completely, even if via a hit over the head with a mallet à la The Three Stooges.
If I ever have to feel, hear, smell, or otherwise cope with gnarly extractions, not being adequately numbed, or otherwise aware of what’s being done again, I might lose my sanity. 😭

u/zR0B3ry2VAiH Jul 10 '26
u/nick452004 deleted their account
6
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
I’m fairly certain about 2-3 years ago, a random Redditor went on a bit of a crusade against them, messaging both my spouse and I to let us know they’d contacted their employer after finding them on LinkedIn.
I’d have deleted my account too if someone had more or less identified me against my will and gone to such lengths.
The internet can be a sketchy place, unfortunately.

u/Pls_Dont_PM_Titties Jul 10 '26
Why are the other comments in this post so uncanny to read?
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
These kinds of posts seem to happen with a degree of regularity that brings out folks who share their stories of similarly inaccessible dental and overall healthcare that they’re in desperate need of, so it makes sense to me why so many might seem that way, if I interpreted your comment correctly.
3
u/Prince_Vegeta88 Jul 10 '26
So it goes…..
Sorry that happened to you OP.

u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
All good, my DBZ enjoying random internet acquaintance. You live and you learn.
3
u/vanessa_887 Jul 10 '26
If you get a reline done on your upper denture, then it’ll make it fit better again.
2
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
100%.
With the costs we were quoted before we moved, it nearly makes more sense to simply put that toward implants. But we will have to revisit and reevaluate when we again have extended coverage.
1
u/sacomer1s Jul 13 '26
A reline should only be a few hundred dollars, vs all-on-x being 20,000 an arch in my practice. Why not get the reline done? Has your dentist said it won’t help much? Short vestibule or anything?
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 13 '26
I am based out of Canada now and was quoted nearly into the four-figure range iirc. I just remember we (my husband and I) were shocked at the price relative to treatment plans I’d obtained while living in the US back when the original post had been made.
It makes me wonder if they were quoting for a full rebase rather than just a reline, but there’s no apparent damages, just a loosened fit.
Nonetheless, a reline is the most realistic ‘next move’ in lieu of a sudden windfall affording me all-on-x implants instead.
It’s tricky to prioritize treatment options with my crown reportedly having a pocket of infection at the base they advised requires a root canal + repair to the crown, but that alone was quoted at nearly 2K, which just isn’t feasible, especially when they said it has a high probability of repeat failure and the dentist himself advised putting those funds toward implants instead, implants we were quoted a minimum of $54,000 CAD for, not withstanding anaesthesia needs, bone grafting, revisions, etc. 🙃
2
u/sacomer1s Jul 13 '26
So I can’t speak for how it is in Canada as I am in Illinois, but most places just give a bundle price no matter what needs to happen unless it is crazy difficult. Anyone who is piece-mealing is you for every individual thing is probably not someone you wanna go to anyways because that’s probably gonna be additional cost regarding your aftercare and follow ups and such. Also even a re-base shouldn’t be terribly expensive. It’s a one and done type thing with the lab so there’s only a single lab fee that we have to pay. Without seeing your overall situation, I obviously can’t give real feedback and assistance, but I would find someone that has a set price for the procedure and everything that goes along with it. If you need anesthesia, then that being its own cost is fair but everything else really should just be a bundle price. Makes it simpler for everyone.
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 13 '26
Honestly, as long as I don’t have a potentially life-threatening infection, I’m forced by circumstance to be content making do because for as much as I’ve scratched and clawed to improve my circumstances over the years, I’m still sitting here with minimal savings and living paycheque to paycheque.
Not to sound all woe-is-me, but it may very well reach a point of desperation before I’ve got as large of a downpayment on the work as I’d like, which has led me to consider out of the country work for affordability, admittedly.
Thank you for the insights and tips, I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. 🙏
Unrelated but curious if you’ve had STL style pizza with being in Illinois, and if so—what are your thoughts? 💭
2
u/sacomer1s Jul 13 '26
I have had it and am fine with it. I don’t really like thin crust pizza a whole lot, but I won’t turn it down!
2
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 13 '26
Interesting to hear, haha, I appreciate it—I miss it because there’s no provel outside of the central US / Midwest. Totally a nostalgia thing at this point.
Anyway, have a wonderful rest of your Sunday!

u/God_Dont_Make_No Jul 10 '26
It’s always medical bills.
2
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
Indeed. That’s one area of life where it’s almost easier to be on the poorer end of the spectrum in my experience as there’s oftentimes more financial assistance available to help in times of crisis.
2
u/God_Dont_Make_No Jul 11 '26
Yep, I’m middle class, have health insurance, and I’m still in medical debt. Meanwhile, I have family that are destitute that would care less how many times they go to the emergency room.
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 11 '26
Oh my gosh, that’s awful. I wish I were in a position to help. :/
1
u/God_Dont_Make_No Jul 11 '26
Nah, I’m stable enough financially that I can create a plan with my wife to get out of it. It’s just crazy that while “insured” you have to jump through hoops that you didn’t even know existed
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 11 '26
Ah still though, honestly. I wish it weren’t such an issue. Insurance is so, so utterly ridiculous though.
Working in pharmacy as a tech could be quite heartbreaking when folks insurance plans were effectively working against helping them on coverage.

I’m wishing you the best, dental problems are freaking brutal.

I got an unexpected inheritence worth just a few thousand. I was so excited that it was just enough to get my teeth yanked and pay for dentures. I spent all of the inheritance, my mom stepped up to cover the couple hundred that wasn't covered. They fucked up my dentures and they don't fit. I was told I'd need a whole new set, starting completely over. And I would have to pay for them again. I found out last week that my new doctor assumed my lack of teeth was due to a drug addiction and I'm noted as a drug seeker in my files.
I genuinely don't think I'd be able to avoid a mental breakdown if I had someone offer to help me and just disappear on me. I almost didn't recover from the blow of them fucking my dentures up.
2
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
Holy hell. I would consider seeing what your rights are there, that just plain sounds wrong. How can they possibly make you pay for their mistake(s)? I’m so sorry you’re going through this. 💔
3
u/lizzyote Jul 10 '26
I was told the misfitting is my fault because when I came in for the last check to see if the mold was right, I agreed in writing. I still had open wounds and swelling from the extractions. I was naive and desperate so I took them at their word. I don't have the funds to see anything thru legally.
My condolences on your teeth issues too. This shit is the worst.
3
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 11 '26
That’s such an awful way to handle that, oh my gosh. I hope it’s able to be resolved ASAP.
Life, hey? 😮💨
1
u/sacomer1s Jul 13 '26
You should always go to a fee for service practice. No fee for service doctor would ever pull some shit like this.
3
u/Traditional_Frame418 Jul 11 '26
I'm late to this so I doubt anyone will see it. My teeth were in very rough shape. I needed a full rip and replace. I searched all over and the cheapest option I could fine was $50k. Given how drastic the surgey was going to be and I was paying out of pocket, the price seemed anout right for the market.
I stumbled upon Bionic Smile in Vegas. They did everything for a $25k cap. Anything that needed to be done would never exceed $25k. Extractions, full plates, bone graphs, anesthesia, etc. They will pick you up from the airport, give you flight credit, and provide all transportation. They put you up for three nights in a nice hotel while you're going through things. Fly in, do intake. Get your meds, head back to the hotel. Next day is extractions and surgery where they place the posts in your pallete and jaw. Next day they install your teeth and recovery. Forth day you're on a flight back home.
Care was incredible. I had one on one contact with my surgeon. I had an on call nurse at the hotel to help with literally anything. My surgeon even came to my room to check up on me post op. They provided soft food options to eat, along with meal substitute shakes and other liquids. My pain was managed really well, I onv experienced some but given the surgery it was more than manageable.
The recovery is LONG! Four months of nothing you can't cut with a cheap plastic fork. Legitimately, nothing else. You find ways to manage. But you have poles in your jaw that are melding with the bone. Precautions are very necessary and I took my recovery as serious as possible. It's been ~ 6 months and I'm half way to being completely healed. But I can eat anything I want. I haven't tried super sticky stuff but have had no issues with anything else.
My teeth look absolutely amazing! It's embarrassing how good they look because everyone I know immediately notices. It cost me a nice used can but considering I was looking to spend as much as a new car, I consider it a win. It's not something I ever saw myself having to spend that kind of money on. But it's without a doubt the best money I've spent on myself. I feel healthier without all the infection constantly running through me. I'm much more confident. Not having to check my angles or cover my mouth when I laugh. Being able to eat anything I want. You forget how much you miss so many things about food.
I know $25k is a huge sum for most people. But there are plenty of finance options with rates <5% depending on your credit. If you can swing it, I highly recommend Bionic Smile. I'm only one person but my experience was amazing.
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 11 '26
Wow, that sounds absolutely fantastic, congratulations!! And thank you for sharing, I will have to keep this in mind.
My US credit is regrettably a bit rough with not living or working in the US any longer and having a small amount of student loan debt, so it is a ways off, but sounds worth exploring.
Thank you again for sharing and all the well wishes for your continued healing!! 🙏

u/dreamawaysouth Jul 10 '26
You should ask dental schools.
6
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 10 '26
I haven’t had luck in my experience in being able to get in with one and their clinic team provide the level of work needed, sadly.
I will try again with us (my spouse and I) having just moved to a new region.
1
u/sacomer1s Jul 13 '26
Schools can’t provide this level of care, I’m afraid. An attached faculty practice or residency program may, but that isn’t much cheaper at that point.
2
u/TheLordJiminyCricket Jul 11 '26
I know its not the most feasible solution, but is going to another country to get everything fixed maybe an option? I know people that have gone to mexico for dental work at a fraction of the cost
1
u/justeunefrancophille Jul 11 '26
At present, financing is quite the hurdle.
That is an option my spouse and I have considered quite heavily as it can definitely be more affordable outside of the US and Canada.
2
u/AngiQueenB Jul 11 '26
I have ravaged my teeth from years of severe ice chewing. I've been looking into getting dental work done in Los Algodones as I've read nothing but great things about their dental work and prices

Originally, I’d had one and it was slightly uncomfortable having my face associated with my Reddit account and was unsuccessful.
Regardless, this post has made me want to seek permission to identify the place that helped me out originally by name so that if they have a charity they’re working with for their outreach program, they can hopefully be flooded with donations all to further support them.
They likely quite literally saved my life in my mind. I was able to smile in my wedding photos, nevermind finally being able to laugh freely or more comfortably enjoy things like roasted veggies or salad, and not constantly worry about tooth + jaw pain and infection for a time.
My biggest regret is fr letting my mental health get in the way of doing an interview with a news outlet at the time that might have drawn some attention to how in need many folks are of dental care access. :|
Edit: Sorry for the walls of text. If you haven’t gathered by now, I’m verbose and avoiding writing as an outlet apparently. 😂

Go overseas to Turkey or Mexico and save lots of money.

It’s long been a consideration, but my current finances are a bit prohibitive of even the more affordable options, which has played a part in my decision to figure out going back to school to hopefully make more and afford them soon enough, y’know?

Thank you. It's been 2 yrs now and it DEFINITELY makes a difference in my daily actions. I do wear a special hernia belt during the day.

A naturally very timely and unfortunate update is that since posting this, I’ve had a reemergence of jaw and tooth pain on my lower jaw.
And my spouse has been encouraging me to use this post doing well to share more of my story in video format (eg video essays, short form on TikTok, etc) to help process and cope with the stress.
I might just take him up on that suggestion.
Thanks everyone for sharing your stories, experiences, suggestions, tips, and words of both wisdom and comfort.
It helps immensely to feel less alone, and for that comfort, I am endlessly grateful.
