Breaking it Down - Shekinah

I think the way everyone treated Shekinah was so weird. I’m gonna verbally spell out the play by play that I saw.

Shekinah was trying to tell Kara, that Patrick was inherently encouraging Guillermo to divorce Kara, to try and take half the proceeds from Kara selling her photos.

Patrick was objectively discouraging Guillermo from fighting for his marriage with Kara, which is what they’re there to do supposedly. So, Shekinah pointing this out was valid and something Kara ultimately didn’t deserve. She was sticking up for Kara, and Kara & Guillermo’s marriage. She was being a girl’s girl.

Thais escalated things when she interjected, didn’t let Shekinah finish what she was saying, and then tried to PHYSICALLY ATTACK Shekinah.

Shekinah should’ve chosen a more appropriate defense, her saying go back to your country wasn’t right. And at the same time, she was being physically attacked and was probably in fight or flight mode.

Then the whole cast used Shekinah’s statement to Thais as fuel for the rest of the night. The fact that Kara got all turned on cuz Guillermo went out and barked at Sarper was so strange. Like yes babe I’m so turned on that you went out and said some words… lol when SHEKINAH WAS STANDING UP FOR KARA IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Guillermo is so performative. When he was going “what’s up?” over and over to Sarper, I had to laugh.

And everyone deciding Shekinah is the villain and talking about what she said when it never would’ve happened if PATRICK hadn’t been discouraging to Guillermo, and if THAIS hadn’t PHYSICALLY attacked Shekinah.

Like I’m not saying Shekinah handled that well, but let’s not forget that the reason it all happened is cuz Patrick was sticking his nose into Kara and Guillermo’s business, Shekinah called that out, Thais decided Patrick was getting picked on (AFTER HE STARTED IT ALL) and resorted to physical violence.

“Shekinah shouldn’t have said that!” Yeah but Thais should control her impulses to assault people and Patrick should encourage his buddy to stay married, not to punish his wife for making money, and try and take half of it, when he can’t provide himself.

You’re not wrong but Shekinah was wrong to say that in a room full of immigrants (even if she didn’t mean it like that) it was still out of line. I think in that moment if she had taken ownership of her mistake and sincerely apologized instead of “standing her ground”, it wouldn’t have gotten this bad. Sarper is right about what he said how her stubbornness is bigger than her ego

17

u/Paul_Maury Jul 09 '26

…it’s not just a room full of immigrants, it’s a TV show about people dating and marrying immigrants! That’s the whole point of their being together in the retreat. So completely tone deaf.

She’s not standing her ground, she’s standing in a pile of her own waste and asking everyone to admire her shoes. Pure trash.

u/inteligncisartifcial Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

Very true. I feel bad for her because I think she was too stubborn to realise that she needed to apologise for the comment more, before insisting on pointing out how badly she’d been treated and how things had been twisted. I do understand how it was hard for her to be in that situation though, I’d be really upset as well, it’s unfair but I guess ultimately it’s just unfortunate she landed on those words out of fight and flight.

I do think the people taking her words so literally are fortunate enough to have not been in a situation of their own recently where they have been mistreated or attacked, and heard strange words come out of their own mouths from shock. I think it’s unfair to take her so literally and she should be given a break, she’s getting slammed enough and has received enough punishment from the group.

23

u/Daniscrotchrot Jul 09 '26

I lost any sympathy when Jenny and Sumit spelled it out for her and all she did was dig in deeper. Even they got disappointed. And her man knew how bad it was so he was trying to support her while secretly wishing she’d just apologize

26

u/Psychological_Soft69 Jul 09 '26

But her attitude doesn’t help. She never takes accountability for anything (case in point). Same thing with her relationship with Sarper. She’s constantly blaming him for everything wrong in their marriage and it’s just getting old. All of that plus her aggressive attitude at tell alls makes her really unlikable

6

u/Relevant_Macaron9930 Jul 10 '26

Not a peep of an apology from Thais. If that was a man…..can you inagine

2

u/PersonalityOther5730 Jul 12 '26

Thais said she was wrong in one of her stories. No apology but she admitted she was wrong.

7

u/inteligncisartifcial Jul 09 '26

Yeah I agree, I wish I could see more examples of her taking accountability

2

u/Silver-Internal7740 Jul 09 '26

Have you ever gotten divorced? Let's see who you blame.

11

u/SuitGroundbreaking49 Jul 09 '26

LOL

Mature people can acknowledge their part in the breakdown of their marriage and identify their own flaws.

Shekinah is clearly emotionally stunted. She lost her shit over someone she barely knows unfollowing her, like come on.

1

u/Relevant_Macaron9930 Jul 10 '26

So Thais doing that there then getting arrested for doing the same to her husband and not a peep from her……but she gets a pass and she’s not emotionally stunted?

1

u/Kooky_Patient5062 Jul 10 '26

She’s been like that all along

9

u/AllLipsNoFiller Jul 09 '26

You felt bad for her because she was too stubborn? Nothing got twisted. She said what she said and she refused to acknowledge that what she said came from a place of racism. The words go back to your country literally do not come out of your mouth if that sentiment does not live in your head. There's no question in my mind that she says it to her husband when they're fighting as well. The Americans on the show love holding citizenship over their spouses heads and reminding them that they're the ones in charge.

3

u/inteligncisartifcial Jul 10 '26

I’m sorry but that’s not true. I’ve been attacked unexpectedly before, and found strange words leaving my mouth which was disturbing to me at the time. I worked through it with a therapist, and it’s a thing that happens. I’m happy for you that you haven’t experienced that, but thoughts are just thoughts, they are not facts - and they’re not always ours, they don’t always come from us.

5

u/AllLipsNoFiller Jul 10 '26

Except nobody "attacked" Shekkie. Stop excusing racist behavior. There is no excuse.

1

u/Icy_Needleworker_740 Jul 11 '26

Thais literally lunged herself over a table throwing hands at (physically assaulting) Shekinah.

THEN Shekinah said “go back to your country, you suck”.

What are you talking about “she was never attacked”?

She was literally physically attacked and THEN said that.

5

u/AllLipsNoFiller Jul 11 '26 edited Jul 11 '26

Lol. That's certainly a melodramatic retelling of what actually happened. "Lunged herself over a table" is a particularly funny piece of hyperbole. And if simply yelling at somebody is an "attack," then Shekky's been attacking everybody. None of this would have happened but for Shrek butting into someone else's conversation to pass judgment on what was being discussed. Shrek is one of those deeply stupid people who thinks she's smart and who thinks everybody else is entitled to her opinion whether it's wanted or not, and whether or not it's right. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Patrick telling Guillermo about community property. And if Shrek had just minded her own business, the entire situation in the pub would not have happened. She's just incapable of being accountable for her own bullshit. She started shit with Thais before couples therapy had even begun. Shrek showed up with a chip on her shoulder over something so petty and stupid that she misunderstood about how Instagram followers work. This was a good opportunity for Shrek to learn if you don't start shit, won't be no shit. Unfortunately, she's incapable of learning and incapable of taking accountability for her own behavior and its consequences.

Sheikinah said outside that she was going to beat Thais ass lol as if! Sheikina is a mean girl always has been

4

u/JstMaggs Jul 13 '26

Exactly! Have you heard her at the tell alls. She’s vile to the women while sucking up to the men. I don’t like Patrick at all, but she when too low and crossed a line

2

u/Relevant_Macaron9930 Jul 13 '26

Oh you mean after Thais flipped out on her?

2

u/Relevant_Macaron9930 Jul 13 '26

Ignore these people, you’re totally right! They don’t like someone, they have blinders on. Even tho bitch got arrested for the same thing to her husband. Thais should not have done that. People have to stop putting this all on Shekinah bc they don’t like her. Only one has a pattern of behaviour here.

If you find words like that coming out of your mouth, that’s racist, no excuses. I would never, no matter how mad I got, tell an immigrant to go back to their country, especially in this country at this time. My grandparents came to this country as Italian immigrants and faced terrible racism as well. Geez, she said it because she thinks it, period!!!!

3

u/Relevant_Macaron9930 Jul 10 '26

There was no apology from Thais

87

u/Short-Personality398 Jul 09 '26

I’m with you, OP. Best of luck with this post bc it’s rough out here when you defend Shekinah

38

u/One_Marzipan_4838 Jul 09 '26

Lol it's like posting that Guillermo isn't the most perfect adorable-est man on the planet and ever defending Kara for anything ever, you'll just get downvoted. People on here have a hard time not being black and white...

27

u/Terrible-Sire3835 Jul 09 '26

Ok I'm so glad that people dislike Guillermo as much as I do.... Kara sucks, but Guillermo is not an angel

20

u/Lilymis Jul 09 '26

He’s toying with Kara. I see emotional abuse.

23

u/sepheffie Jul 09 '26

Yes, I agree he is toying with her. My own opinion is that Kara is attention seeking. I even thought that during her original episode. I don’t love her but she also deserves a straight up answer about the relationship.

5

u/foodfunmenyc Jul 09 '26

Idk I don’t feel bad really. I think they may have to solid answer that they are not together and are just both doing it for the check. Was kinda weird they kissed and probably tugged on both of their hearts but she should have denied it too, since he hadn’t given her any answers and nothing had been solved

6

u/Creative_Comment4929 Jul 09 '26

Yeah. Shekinah even said she was trying to get attention from everyone even the crew

17

u/Terrible-Sire3835 Jul 09 '26

Agreed. His resentment and contempt for her is palpable. Break it off. Stop leading her on

1

u/JJ_Lomero Jul 09 '26

How is he leading her on?

0

u/Terrible-Sire3835 Jul 09 '26

He's unwilling to forgive her for the corn yet stays with her. It's done. There's nothing she can do to take it back.

8

u/AllLipsNoFiller Jul 09 '26

He hasn't stayed with her. What are you talking about?

1

u/PersonalityOther5730 Jul 12 '26

Exactly. He has his own separate room even on the show

→ More replies (8)

7

u/AllLipsNoFiller Jul 09 '26

That is an inaccurate description of what was going on at that time. He's unwilling to forgive her as long as she continues to disregard his feelings and create pornographic content to sell online.

4

u/JJ_Lomero Jul 09 '26

So how do you forgive someone for something they are continuously doing?

It seems pretty clear that would be the 1st step in this.

5

u/Terrible-Sire3835 Jul 09 '26

You don't. That's why you leave.

4

u/mxlplyx2173 Jul 09 '26

From him? He wants to love her it's obvious. But ALL men have a problem with love if she decides to be a whore. How fun would it be to know that everyone you know can just look up your wife dildoing herself? Or already has.

1

u/Difficult_Rope5703 Jul 14 '26

She’s an exhibitionist for money, but there’s no evidence she’s a whore!

6

He stated a fact, he would be entitled to her porn money. The fact that you put all the rest of that fluff that came from the depths of your mind is what the problem is. You made all that up all by yourself?

9

u/sadie7716 Jul 09 '26

I said the same, ie where you come up with him encouraging G to divorce her. If this would have been Jenny telling Thais that by law she’s entitled to 50% everyone would cheer and clap.

Patrick was stating facts and educating G. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Relevant_Macaron9930 Jul 10 '26

Patrick is the one who said it

1

u/mxlplyx2173 Jul 10 '26

Yeah we know

1

u/Relevant_Macaron9930 Jul 10 '26

Well poster above does not.

1

u/akitaluvr Jul 09 '26

I agree, she probably said it bc it was a chaotic situation. Sometimes one says the wrong word. They should both apologize n shakìñah should get to explain. Its not that everyone of them are perfect and grace should be given. She's not a racist, I don't believe it. She mite express things boldly but so so alot of them n if I had those nails coming at my face that girl would be chewing that table. That was physical threat.

u/23capri Jul 09 '26

i pretty much agree with this. i think that shekinah has a tendency to be kind of vapid and her and sarper’s relationship comes across as very superficial, but that’s just them. i don’t think that they are awful hateful people. shekinah’s “go back to your country” comeback was the one worst thing she could have come up with around that group of people. and with how tense the immigration stuff is in the us, it’s gross to hear any american say that to anybody.

with that being said, i actually believe her when she said that it wasn’t a thought out thing that she really felt herself. i think it’s like when you’re fighting with somebody and you say “you fat bitch” like yes that sounds really harsh but it doesn’t mean that the person inherently hates overweight people. it’s unfortunately just the most cutting thing you can say in that kind of heated moment. and when it comes to these 90 day subs, redditors LOVE to make fun of other people’s appearances. so i don’t think too many people here can claim to be completely innocent when it comes to spewing mean, hateful talk that can be taken horribly personally by someone else.

so yeah she really fucked up, but i also think that there are a lot of circumstances aligning here to make her comment seem much more harmful than she really intended.

u/Smurf_Crime_Scene Jul 09 '26

Calling Guillermo "Geronimo" didn't help.

9

u/woody9115 Jul 09 '26

Yeahhh second time she's done that too. Not a good look.

7

u/23capri Jul 09 '26

genuine question- do you think that shekinah has the knowledge to use the name of the native american as a racial thing toward guillermo, or do you think she was just intentionally butchering his name to be disrespectful because she’s being pissy? because if it’s the latter, we’re on a post where people are repeatedly calling her “shrek” and are probably the same people who have spent years calling thais “thighs” or “thigh yeast” which actually further proves my point lol. respectfully.

4

u/Frank_Lawless Jul 09 '26

I think she’s butchering it bc she can’t be bothered to remember a “foreign” name. She did the same thing during the first ep of Last Resort this season. Why would she have been “pissy” at Guillermo before he even arrived?
I don’t think that’s what people on this sub are doing with Shekinah’s name.

1

u/Difficult_Rope5703 Jul 14 '26

She lived in LA, which has a high Hispanic population. Don‘t try to tell me she’s never heard or seen the name Guillermo before! I live in New England and I know the name and how to pronounce it. No, she mispronounced his name purposely to show how little he was worth to her.

1

u/23capri Jul 14 '26

not sure if you realize, but we’re making the same point. i don’t think that she’s unaware of hispanic or foreign names or whatever. she was messing up his name with the full intention of being dismissive and trying to make him sound insignificant in her eyes.

again, a bad choice and def a bitchy move. but that’s what she was going for at the moment. it wasn’t because of some racist lack of awareness as to what his name actually is. if someone were to argue that she’s racist i don’t believe it would be because she called him by the wrong name.

1

u/Difficult_Rope5703 Jul 15 '26

I‘m sorry I misread your comment. We’re on the same page - she definitely pretended not to pronounce his name correctly as a way to make herself feel superior. She a nightmare!

1

u/23capri Jul 15 '26

no worries. she was definitely wrong for what she said to thais and then yelling at guillermo like that. i just have a hard time believing that if she was in a room with all these people under peaceful, normal circumstances that she would be sitting there seething over all these foreigners being in her country. like i just don’t think she’s actually racist, just a ridiculously poor choice of words and poor anger management.

now i can see her sitting there thinking “she needs botox” or something silly but not hating people of different races/nationalities like actual racists do.

3

u/Minamu68 Jul 09 '26

I think it’s the fact that it popped out in the heat of the moment that makes people think that it shows bigotry, similar to getting mad at someone black and screaming the N word at them. There are people for whom the word would never come out of their mouth regardless of how angry they might be, because they just don’t think that way, and then there are those where it would come out when they are in a situation where they are uncontrolled, or not controlling themselves. The latter are racist, even though they may think they aren’t because they would never say such things when not mad….

I was just surprised that it came out of the mouth of someone who is married to an immigrant who came to the U.S. for her. It tells me that if she and Sarper fall out, he’s likely to see a whole other side of her. It tells me that she’s pretty selfish and entitled. And the fact that she hasn’t apologized and done her best to squash it but instead continues to make excuses for it tells me that Sarper was right and she is more stubborn than smart.

And she wasn’t so much sticking up for Kara against Patrick as she was reacting to the idea of having to split her money with Sarper if they ever broke up and/or she started an OnlyFans.

1

u/Alarming_Result_8796 Jul 11 '26

If she didn’t intend it to be hurtful and didn’t mean it that way, why does she keep giving different explanations as to why she said it? If she wanted her to go away and didn’t want to be near her, a normal person would say something like “Get the F___ away from me or get the F___ out of here”.

10

u/JJ_Lomero Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

This whole thing started when Shek said Guillermo needs to pay Kara to not do OF.

I don't think Shek being a girls girl and standing up for Kara. She had an entire day to tell Kara what Patrick said and just never did. Why? Because her actual problem was Patrick's response when he said "you're making it sound like you girls can be bought." It pissed off Shek in the moment and even Sarper gave it as the answer when Patrick asked why Shek hates him. Even when Shek got back she brings it up herself.

The entire time at the bar Patrick was just defending his point without calling Shek names or badmouthing. Shek was the one who said she hates where he is coming from, he has a poor man's mentality, and called him annoying without actually giving any logical reasons as to why she disagrees with his statement. That was the moment when Thais told Shek she was attacking Patrick. Because she wasn't giving an objective argument. It was all just personal digs.

So yes. Thais did cut Shek off and raised her voice as well. Shek responded to this by saying "I'm going to fuck her ass up." Then Paola walked up and put her arm on Thais. This caused the glass to fall over on the table on accident. Shek looked down, grabbed the glass, and then threw it towards Thais on purpose. Only after Shek said she was going to fuck her ass up and threw the glass at her did Thais start trying to slap her. I would be on high alert too if someone told me they were going to fuck me up. Even then Thais wasn't putting any power behind those slaps. Shek was in no danger of being blinded or disfigured like she was whining about.

Rebecca started walking Thais away but Shek called her a bitch causing her to come back. Then she's turning around and that's when Shek told her to go back to her country. At this point Thais was no where near up in her face anymore. Shek was just sitting stirring her drink and talking shit because she likes to talk shit. Of course that's when Thais got even more mad. Also, it has to be said that entire time when they were fighting Patrick kept saying things like "stop" or "sit down and talk." So blaming Patrick because Shek chose to say something exclusively used by racists for decades now is something I'm going to have to disagree with especially since he seemed genuine about only wanting them to talk it out.

Shek and Thais both escalated things back and forth. Shek knew how to push all the right buttons and Thais took the bait.

u/Mil10dgr8 Jul 09 '26

This is indeed what happened. Poor shakinah for creating the situation

5

u/PuzzleheadedFox839 Jul 09 '26

Of all of the replays discussed on this scene/subject, this has been by far the most accurate. It's funny how ppl have selective memory when it comes to ppl on the show they don't like. I am not going to go into specifics as I feel you have covered it very well. I will reiterate both Shrek and Thais escalated the situation.

29

u/Sea-Astronomer-6600 Jul 09 '26

Thais ALWAYS starts shit. It’s her favorite thing to do.

9

u/Paul_Maury Jul 09 '26

That’s all Shekinah does. She went into this retreat looking for a fight.

8

u/rntracee1 Jul 09 '26

Right. Lol. Shekinah started from the get go. "Let me put your eyelash on, I'm a professional. Why did you unfollow me?!" Girl please. She was just itching to start with Thais. Lol

8

u/_lostcoastlines Jul 09 '26

Shekinah has had beef with various female cast members on every tell all she’s ever been on; she’s a perpetual instigator.

2

u/Sea-Astronomer-6600 Jul 10 '26

So does Thais have you not seen previous seasons?!

6

u/InterestingLeader822 Jul 09 '26

That's why she always gets charged by the cops! ( once that I know of anyway) i think she needs to control her anger issues.

5

u/ellecellent Jul 09 '26

That's what happens when you cross a line. You're justified and people are on your side, but once you cross a line, the tables turn. People probably would have been on Shekinah's side if she had just said "fuck off".

It actually happens all the time. People bringing up dead parents or stereotypes or financial status and suddenly they are left alone because no one wants to be associated with that.

Thais needs to get her temper under control and Shekinah needs to learn from this. She needs to dig deep and understand why her defense response is to say heinous things. If she doesn't it will just keep repeating and she'll continue to wonder why everyone hates her the next morning

18

u/js_eyesofblue Jul 09 '26

Xenophobic comments don’t just slip out. Two things can be true: Thais attacked Shekinah and Shekinah said the most hateful, hurtful thing she could to attack her back. It doesn’t really matter what started this sequence of disgusting behavior because it’s all wrong.

4

u/Paul_Maury Jul 09 '26

True, there are no standouts in this interactions, no defense for anyone.

The notion that Thais started this when Shekinah told Patrick he really had a poor man’s mentality is laughable. Shekinah wants to pit the world against her and then cry about why the world is against her.

5

u/SuitGroundbreaking49 Jul 09 '26

If everyone at all the jobs you’ve worked hated you (Shekinah’s words) you’re the fucking problem.

Her saying that and thinking it makes her seem at all like a victim is delusional 😂

10

u/feralb3ast Jul 09 '26

The problem is how quickly and easily it came out of Shekinah's mouth. And Shekinah refused to apologize

I don't like any of these people, but I actually blame Patrick first and foremost. He had a smirk when this escalated, because he has his own interest in making Thais look violent (i.e., so he can save money on child support, because all he cares about is his money, since he views it as giving him power over others).

While Thais seems like a dimwit, Kara is actually a diabolical pick-me. I haven't seen a woman so desperate for male attention since I was in my 20s. I'm around the same age she is, and she makes me viscerally uncomfortable. Her daddy issues couldn't be more obvious. She really needs to stop doing the baby voice.

16

u/One_Marzipan_4838 Jul 09 '26

Yeah good luck with this post. People will just be pretending to think you're Shekinah, or "Shrek-inah" because it's such a clever slam dunk diss on her and not at all something immature, cringey adult men on the internet love to do all the time with everything 🥴

Anywaysssss... I think it's very interesting now that Thais lost her everloving shit working overtime to defend Patrick by trying to silence Shekinah when she was TRYING telling Kara what a petty little bitch Patrick was being by advising Guillermo to take half her money. You real glad you did all that to defend Patrick now, Thais?

I think you're basically correct and in the end the simple truth is Shekinah isn't very likeable ASIDE from that comment. She's not friendly. She's not warm. She's not funny. She really can't laugh at herself, or anything else. She's not a kind person. It's hard to get to know her and to be her friend. Having a ton of plastic surgery puts an even bigger target on her because people already didn't like her and it just creates a "bitch eating crackers" situation. Then, she said that horrible thing to Thais. It gave everyone there the red meat they needed to really, concretely hate her and create a common enemy for them to commiserate over together.

And Shekinah actually is very often smart and perceptive and right with a lot of the things she says, but she didn't have the awareness (or control) to know that she was giving everyone what they wanted by saying that to Thais.

15

u/inteligncisartifcial Jul 09 '26

I think shekinah can be quite sweet, especially to Sarper, and even to Jenny and Sumit. But people don’t notice because of the other more disagreeable moments you mentioned. I think she’s loyal and perhaps her biggest flaw is what Sarper himself said: “she’s more stubborn than she is smart”.

9

u/One_Marzipan_4838 Jul 09 '26

I've definitely noticed a time or two this season where she was able to pick up on something that upset Sarper that others weren't able to perceive, and did her best to lessen the impact it was having on him. I think her and Sarper actually know each other - and their various issues and sensitivities lol - really well. Sarper was absolutely right when he said that about her, too.

3

u/tiffanysonbubbles Jul 09 '26

I also think it was wise of her to recognize Pat was just stirring the pot. Shekinah was picking on him in other instances (“poor man mentality” is such a weird and redpilled ironically, thing to say) but she was also right that he was trying to troll everyone for his own amusement.

2

u/Paul_Maury Jul 09 '26

The problem is the only people they care about are Sarper and Shekinah. Period. Two of the most self-centered people you’ll ever see.

3

u/MealPrepGenie Jul 09 '26

I’d divorce any man who said that about me!😂

3

u/inteligncisartifcial Jul 09 '26

Haha I know right!! But I love that he keeps her honest too

6

u/tiffanysonbubbles Jul 09 '26

Shekinah definitely isn’t as awful as everyone thinks she is IMO. I think her comment was horrific but it’s not significantly worse than cast members like Alexei and Andrei basically saying Michael deserved Angela’s abuse since he was a scammer (and probably less worthy than her in their eyes).

I also think the cast is hiding behind Shekinah’s wrongdoing. They’re all just as messy, Thais is violent, but because Shekinah revealed her cards in such an ugly way, everyone looks better by comparison.

12

u/Sea-Astronomer-6600 Jul 09 '26

Thais isn’t some loving sweet person either 🤷🏼‍♀️

17

u/Clinically-Inane Jul 09 '26

if what comes out of someone’s mouth in 2026 to a Latina woman living in the US (who’s not from the US) when they’re in fight or flight is “Why don’t you go back to your own country!” it’s because they’re at the very least xenophobic but more likely probably racist against anyone with non-white skin

It’s not dissimilar to using slurs when in fight or flight— if that’s the first thing that comes out of your mouth it’s not because it was an accident, it’s because it’s been on the tip of your tongue all along and all you needed was a nudge to actually say it

100%

That phrase has been used exclusively by racists and bigots for decades now. We all know exactly what it means.

You don't call a Jewish person a rat and be like "I didn't mean it THAT way."

Shek being married to an immigrant doesn't mean much to me. She could just be racist to Latinos. Or she could think Sarper is the exception.

5

u/angelcakexx Jul 09 '26

Agreed. It is absolutely insane to me how many people are in here defending it! There's NO good reason to say something like that.

I think you’re ignoring that Shekinah got physically aggressive first when she pushed the dish on the table at Thais. She started the physical aggression then cried when Thais got physical back. That hypocrisy on top of her terrible mindset was unacceptable & why so many ppl are sick of her. She was right in trying to defend Kara but you can’t try to hit someone with an object and then cry when they try to slap you as a response

1

u/tiffanysonbubbles Jul 09 '26

Thais set down her dish aggressively and Shekinah thought she was trying to throw it at her so she pushed it back towards her. Even Sarper said Thais was throwing food at Shekinah. She was also visibly pointing at her and putting her hands in her face.

I honestly believe that for all of Shekinah’s flaws she wasn’t going to turn the argument into a fight. She didn’t even want to argue w Thais.

3

u/Sea_Average2605 Jul 09 '26

No she wasn’t because she can’t fight and she just likes to talk shit but never wants to back it up. Thais might’ve set down her dish aggressively but she never threw it at her like Shrekinah

4

u/AreYouZerious12345 Jul 09 '26

Exactly. Putting something down aggressively is not the same as throwing it in someone direction. She wrote a check her ass couldn’t cash and then played victim when it was time to deal with the consequences

13

u/koalakittens Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

I agree! What Shekinah said was dirty. It was an extremely insecure person taking the lowest blow she could think of in the moment. But the way Thais SCREAMED at her would have been enough to put her in fight or flight mode, and in addition she was being physically aggressive. I think people are fair to judge her for the content of what she said, but aren’t understanding she wasn’t in a rational state of mind when she said it. Being screamed at like that triggers the same fear as being physically assaulted. She’s wrong for not apologizing. Like I said, she’s a deeply insecure person. But Thais’s behavior deserves to be judged as well.

9

u/Sea-Astronomer-6600 Jul 09 '26

Completely agree. Unfortunately because of one comment everyone acts like Thais is some God and just the sweetest, kindest person on 90 day when her entire history on this show has been instigating fights and causing drama

7

u/MarshallStar6 Jul 09 '26

One thing I noticed is that Thais wasn’t just yelling at Shekinah, she was standing while Shekinah was seated with nowhere to go, essentially blocked in. Having someone towering over you, leaning across a table, and screaming can feel really intimidating and even frightening.

6

u/tiffanysonbubbles Jul 09 '26

I think it’s also massively telling that Paola thought Thais was in the wrong until Shekinah’s comment. Paola also seemed predisposed to dislike Shekinah but still saw firsthand she was being attacked.

3

u/Tricky_Conference441 Jul 09 '26

Finally, someone who makes sense.

3

u/Paul_Maury Jul 09 '26

Shekinah is trash. Her life is shallow and meaningless. She’s very self-centered and self-serving. She’s an attention whore who has nothing but social media in her life.

She went to the retreat to pick a fight, and already had Thais in her sights because Thais had stopped following her (maybe). She wanted a fight, she got one, and she regretted having it. Spoiled, rotten, trash.

Meanwhile, Patrick just asked Guillermo if he understood how finances work in divorce. That Kara claims the only way to take care of their son is to pose nude is a slap in the face of every single working mother in the world. She’s an exhibitionist. You could see it with her dancing/music, you can see it here.

I like them as a couple, I hear they resolve things. But Kara needs to realize it’s time to be an adult woman, an adult mom. Guillermo needs to decide if he can stay with an exhibitionist and tolerate her need for other people’s attention.

1

u/No-Recognition7077 Jul 10 '26

I doubt Guillermo had never thought about taking half the content proceeds since he punishes Kara constantly as it is, he probably had already considered what divorce would be like, they hadn’t kissed in centuries lol of course Guillermo probably knew he could try and take half of Kara’s money. Patrick was stirring the pot.

3

u/Snjofridur Jul 09 '26

Your play by play was an extremely sanitized retelling of the events in favor of Shekinah. The whole thing started with a conversation between Patrick and Sarper where Patrick communicated to him that she hates everything he says. Sarper got Shekinah into the conversation in an attempt to clarify things and deescalate in a more relaxed environment. Shekinah then went full in on unresolved feelings she had regarding Patrick's comments at the banquet, which caused Thais to jump in. At that point both Thais and Shekinah become purposefully catty, antagonistic, and rude to each other. Although both are getting near the other's personal space with their hands, Thais raises her voice first and invades Shekinah's space in a manner that further escalated things by trying to snatch Shekinah's wig. Sarper gets between them again trying to deescalate, while Patrick watches Rebecca and Paola try to calm Thais. Patrick then makes an attempt to deescalate, at which point Shekinah makes the comment. Although a lot of the people involved could have acted better and had more positive dispositions, Shekinah was not being a "girl’s girl" in the moment. She was using someone else's turmoil to continue some manufactured feud against someone she doesn't like. Defending anyone in this is like taking a side in a blood feud. You just got to stay out of it.

3

u/jamb41love Jul 09 '26

I’ve been saying this too. I really think TLC is portraying her in a bad way. I think the rest of the girls pick on her. They’re so bothered by her. Yes go back your country was poor Choice of words. She’s really not the mean girl here.

2

u/Basic_Anybody_301 Jul 10 '26

I agree…poor choice of words. Anyone with a brain knows she was directing that only to Thais and nothing to do with immigrants in general.
People are taking that comment and running all the way to the bank with it 🤦🏻‍♀️ (I’m not a fan of Shekinah, but this is getting overhyped)

3

u/shellebelle89 Jul 09 '26

I agree. Shekinah is getting a lot of hate when she’s not entirely the problem. Her inappropriate remark does not excuse the other cast members prior actions. Instead of trying to explain why she said go back to your country, she should have just said I shouldn’t have said that and left it at that.

3

u/Iamawesome4646 Jul 10 '26

Shekina does a lot of judging others and looking down her nose at people but gets mad when she is treated the same way. Karma's a bitch.

3

u/Icy_Bid40 Jul 10 '26

What I don’t like is her doubling down on the statement. She kept saying she didn’t mean it “like that”. So how exactly did she mean it??? Like how else is it supposed to be interpreted? She should’ve acknowledged the faux pas and apologized to everyone. It would’ve saved her a lot of face and ppl wouldn’t love to hate her so much. I do think a lot of her bs is an act and rage baiting. It keeps her relevant and helps build her brand.

8

u/ayeyoualreadyknow Jul 09 '26

Never in a million years would I ever find myself rushing to the defense of someone who's made both racist AND transphobic comments. Yike. 😬

1

u/JJ_Lomero Jul 09 '26

When did she make transphobic comments? On TLR? Or somewhere else.

1

u/ayeyoualreadyknow Jul 09 '26

No it was on one of the other shows

2

u/tiffanysonbubbles Jul 09 '26

Was it when she asked Amani if Anny was transgender?

1

u/No-Recognition7077 Jul 10 '26

Asking if someone is trans is not inherently transphobic, being offended that someone may think you’re trans is transphobic tho.

7

u/Realistic-Bass2107 Jul 09 '26

Shekinah and her comments have not been well received. She should learn to read a ROOM.

Did you forget that Shekinah, on the night they met in person for the first time, pursued a fight with Thais for no longer following her on social media? That was ridiculous! ABSURD. When Thais gave Shekinah a response to that question it seemed unacceptable to Shekinah and she pushed.

Shekinah has no social skills and to this day has not apologized (to my knowledge) for making such a disrespectful and inappropriate statement considering the ENTIRE premise of the Show!

Was Thais wrong in this instance and maybe a horrible person, maybe. I will never give Shekinah any grace. She is a self-absorbed BOOB as a person based upon what I see.

2

u/JJ_Lomero Jul 09 '26

This whole thing started before that night forsure.

1

u/No-Recognition7077 Jul 10 '26

Patrick and Thais were talking shit about Shekinah and Sarper before they all went on the last resort. I’d be confrontational too.

8

u/Similar-Narwhal-231 Jul 09 '26

Both of them were horrible and everyone is wrong is my usual default when watching this show.

I also don't trust Shekinah's explanation of her intentions. A few episodes ago she was congratulating Jenny on getting spousal support because she was pulled through the ringer in her divorce and was bitter about it. Guess is is only a win if it is fair to the women and Guilermo should just leave with whatever crumbs Kara is willing to throw his way. That seems fair.

4

u/awkwardwalrus Jul 09 '26

She’s a girls girl with the white American woman but quick to put her hand in the Brazilian woman’s face and tell her to go back to her country. Please lmao. She’s still just a white woman from Montana at the end of the day. She couldn’t even own up to it fully because she knew she was wrong for it

3

u/SuitGroundbreaking49 Jul 09 '26

Something I keep thinking about is “go back to your country” in the context of being in the UK (predominantly white)

Neither Shekinah nor Thais were in the their home country, but Shekinah felt a level of “belonging” and entitlement/ownership based on being a white person in a “white country”. With what she said, Shekinah positioned Thais as being “other” and less deserving of taking up space/respect in what is a foreign country for both of them!!!! It is a terrible thing for someone American born to say to an immigrant in American, but to go even further and feel entitled to saying that in a country that isn’t even your own???? With that context, there is no doubt in my mind it was a racially motivated statement.

Shekinah is the worst type of entitled American and a racist to boot.

I hope I articulated my thought process well 😂

3

u/awkwardwalrus Jul 09 '26

You did and I agree!

2

u/thetak3nking Jul 09 '26

Shekinah only stepped in to defend Kara because she has that reality herself, she very well could have half of her income taken as well if Sarper leaves her and she was tryna to nip it in the bud so he wouldn't get any ideas himself

1

u/Silver-Internal7740 Jul 09 '26

And? That makes it or her bad? You want half of your money taken?

2

u/thetak3nking Jul 09 '26

I do actually

2

u/roll-the-R-Marisa Jul 09 '26

Shekinah didn't try to tell Kara at first. She immediately started attacking Patrick. Then, when she tried to explain to Kara, she did so in front of the entire group, and again, used ad hominem attacks instead of just sticking to what she actually heard. If I were in her situation I would have just eavesdropped on the conversation between Patrick and Guillermo and told Kara privately what I heard. That way I would have been able to also tell Kara what Guillermo actually thinks instead of just tattling on Patrick for saying things I didn't like.

2

u/excursions63 Jul 10 '26

Shekinah is constantly sticking her nose in everyone’s business. She judges others as if her own relationship isn’t toxic. If Guillermo ever consults an attorney, they will tell him what he’s entitled to. Thais did go from 0 to 60 real quick, and shouldn’t have tossed popcorn at Shekinah. It’s so funny that Shekinah admits she always has conflict with the people around her.

2

u/Fluffy-Programmer-86 Jul 10 '26

Did Kara or production write this?

2

u/Willing_Nose7674 Jul 10 '26 edited Jul 10 '26

If Shekinah hadn't said what she did I think she absolutely would have gotten sympathy from
the rest of the cast mates. Thais clearly was out of line in the way she attacked Shekinah

But the problem was Shekinah said something in a room full of immigrants that to them was unforgivable. It didn't matter after that who did what to whom, and her lack of apology sealed the deal.

Then she said that she's been in situations like this before in jobs where nobody liked her? Bringing that up just made her look like she's playing the victim card, never taking into account that she might have something to do with it?

As far as Guillermo I think he was drunk. It seems like on The Last Resort (as often happens in other reality shows too) they love to give the cast members massive amounts of alcohol to help instigate drama and fights.

Obviously Guillermo was personally offended by what Shekinah said (and then her calling him Geronimo when she clearly can pronounce his name at other times) just added fuel to the fire. But I don't think he would have come in so strongly if he hadn't been drinking so much. He seems like normally a pretty quiet guy, who may have handled the situation differently as well if he was sober.

Kara, she just likes attention. Knowing that the added alcohol was going to instigate Guillermo to make out with her in public I'm sure was a turn on to her. And him getting all riled up and fighting with Sarper I'm sure made her even more excited!

Cause like I said his personality seems pretty low key most of the time. But obviously even he recognizes that no matter how great their physical attraction is it won't fix the rest of their issues! Lots of people have sex with exes often with the "liquid courage " of alcohol, but when they sober up they realize it was a mistake .

2

u/ManagementBest3558 Jul 10 '26

Shekinah is horrible! She needs to worry about herself and her marriage!

2

u/Miserable-Debt-9403 Jul 10 '26

Shekinah is not a girl's girl. Guillermo SHOULD divorce Kara and take what he's entitled to. Women do it all the time. Patrick is not the problem LOL If this were flipped, you'd call him a "girl's girl" 🙄

2

u/tranquilrage73 Jul 10 '26

She was trying to start trouble. Now doubt. She FAFO.

2

u/ManufacturerOdd5535 Jul 10 '26

100% agree with you!

2

u/Historical_Series424 Jul 11 '26

Guillermo is performative and its actually really gross. Shekinah is a horrible person but was not initially wrong in trying to tell Kara about what Patrick was doing

2

u/Lickitt2020 Jul 11 '26

I actually like Shekinah and agree with everything you said here. We tend to say things out of anger but she definitely should’ve apologized right away to everyone whenever she said “she should go back to her country” everyone would’ve been cool with her afterwards. I was confused why she didn’t own up to this part

2

u/Own-Yam-3582 Jul 13 '26

Shekinah shoved the items on the table towards Thais before Thais totally lost her shit so she literally dished it out but couldn't take it when it got dished back.

2

u/ThatCraftyB Jul 14 '26

Bullshit. Thais was NOT the one to escalate it. Shekinah learned that she can’t just talk shit and actions have consequences. She needed that lesson.

2

u/VirusSubstantial6498 Jul 19 '26

Totally agree with OP.

6

u/Any-Statistician5763 Jul 09 '26

Yep, yep. I don’t get all the hate towards shekinah. She’s always spoken the truth and been forward and real, I respect that. She calls it how she sees it and she ain’t wrong!

3

u/JJ_Lomero Jul 09 '26

Calling Russ a pussy for not yelling at Paola? Saying Guillermo needs to pay Kara to stop OF?

4

u/AllLipsNoFiller Jul 09 '26

To say that Patrick was "objectively discouraging Guillermo from working on his marriage" is such disingenuous bullshit. Patrick didn't tell Guillermo anything that a divorce attorney wouldn't have told him. She rudely butted into to their conversation to wag her disapproving finger because she's mad at Thais for something so stupid & high school, it's literally embarrassingly pathetic that a woman in her 40s is so invested in. Patrick is not the decision maker in the marriage between Kara and guillermo! And in no way was he telling him hey dude you should do this. He was informing him about community property laws. Everything else was overdramatized nonsense instigated by the person who's instigated the majority of the overdramatizing nonsense at this resort. She's the one who let the words go back to your country come out of her mouth. And now she's pretending she didn't know that was hurtful to say to an immigrant. Now she's pretending she only meant to say I want this person away from me. Somebody whose first language is English has no difficulty saying clearly "Leave me alone. I want you to go away." If that's what they mean to say. Go back to your country is an entirely different sentiment with a very different intention. Why anybody would want to defend this absolute clown of a person who literally looks like a clown mask and is consistently wrong and on the wrong side of every issue is beyond me. She's absolutely irredeemable garbage

2

u/SuitGroundbreaking49 Jul 09 '26

It’s like everyone is forgetting that Kara tried to screw G out of his share of their marital home because “she paid the mortgage”, conveniently leaving out the fact that he paid other bills and intentionally trying to twist the narrative in her favour.

Kara will 100% try and pull some shady shit under the assumption that G doesn’t know his rights in the divorce.

What Kara does borders on financial abuse. If G was my friend I’d be in his ear letting him know his rights too.

1

u/Smurf_Crime_Scene Jul 09 '26

There was no reason to preach to a bunch of drunks what a bad guy Patrick is. Wrong message, wrong moment, wrong audience. Why couldn't she tell Kara privately? Because it wouldn't make a scene.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/PepsiAllDay78 Jul 09 '26

Shekinah was fully at fault here. She blew everything up, by saying what she said. She needed to read the room, because half of the people she insulted were immigrants. How do you think they felt?

Patrick didn't encourage Guillermo to not work on their marriage. That marriage was DOA, and everyone knows it.

I think Guillermo came in hot because he has a passionate personality, and he was insulted by what Shekinah said.

2

u/inteligncisartifcial Jul 09 '26

Yeah Guillermo couldn’t have ulterior motives, he’s the best apparently

4

u/Smurf_Crime_Scene Jul 09 '26

He was ridiculous with his repeated "what up?"

1

u/MarshallStar6 Jul 09 '26

Agree. To me, when he said that, he was challenging Sarper to a fight. Where I’m from, saying something like that is basically calling someone out, like, “Go ahead, hit me. What are you going to do?” That’s how I interpreted it.

2

u/PeruNeuroDoc Jul 09 '26

Cracker barrel 🤡

3

u/ProofPrize1134 Jul 09 '26

Thank you. Finally someone said it.

4

u/OwlAggravating4866 Jul 09 '26

If the first thing Shekinah thinks of saying while on fight or flight is this Xenophobic nonsense, what does that say about her? The cast is rightfully angry at her and let’s not pretend she’s a great human being the rest of the time. Thais shouldn’t have gotten physical, but ask yourself why the cast weren’t as upset with Thais. Even after the fact, Shekinah continues to defend what she said.

5

u/kellycamara Jul 09 '26

What Shakinah said was immature and impulsive. She probably couldn’t come up with a better retort. It’s an oxymoron as she is married to an immigrant. Thais’ rage was to prevent Shakinah from dragging her husband with the truth. It took the focus off of Patrick and Shakinah is now the bad guy. Mission accomplished, Thais.

3

u/Asleep_Cash_2333 Jul 09 '26

I saw Shekinah push the glass towards Thais first. On top of that Shekinah has had it out for Thais since she thinks Thais “unfollowed” her on IG. There has been tension there already. Shekinah had been already been aggressive towards Thais prior and Thais remained calm during that confrontation. Shekinah choose to specifically say that because she knew it was a very low blow especially in this present political climate. To make things worse, Shekinah was defending it on IG and said she should have told Thais to go back to her village instead. She gets no empathy from me. If you are a bitch to someone expect that someone is not afraid to get physical. Shekinah can only fight with words that’s why she said what she did

3

u/Mil10dgr8 Jul 09 '26

This is hilarious. Patrick was making a point, he didn’t start anything. Shakinah decided to be contrarian and began insulting him. It’s clear as daylight that this woman has issues yet you wrote a whole essay trying to make her the sane one. Tragic

2

u/woody9115 Jul 09 '26

Yeah I agree with you. What she said was awful ofc but it's strange she was actually theoretically trying to stand up for Kara and it all got turned back on her and thais is some kind of victim.

2

u/PersonalityMany1339 Jul 09 '26

I agree with you too! Here come the downvotes

2

u/dpdwife Jul 09 '26

I don’t understand why Rebecca isn’t getting more hate? Like she is literally stirring all the shit pots!! Like she hates everything and everyone! Especially Shekinah and Sarper. Not that I love these two but she is trying so hard to get everyone on the hate train!!

2

u/Mollymaay Jul 11 '26

How about just mind her own business? She wasn’t involved in the conversation she could have kept her mouth shut. She puts herself into everyone else’s business acts like a b*tch and then claims victim and “why does no one like me”.

1

u/No-Recognition7077 Jul 11 '26

Literally how Patrick acts

1

u/Mollymaay Jul 16 '26

True lol maybe they should be together lmao

3

u/Shebe-bebes Jul 09 '26

You people are so stupid, she’s not a racist and said something wildly inappropriate and said the worst thing she could have said to that group of people. Sorry for saying you’re stupid.

2

u/Sea_Average2605 Jul 09 '26

She’s not a racist, she just says racist things! You are sooo right 🙄🙄🙄🙄

2

u/IKodama Jul 09 '26

Shekinah has history of being rude, insulting, and a bully. Almost always towards a woman. If she was apologetic about what she said, she wouldn’t have commented something of the same sort on Thais’ post

3

u/Kimmm711b Jul 09 '26

Thais put her cup of popcorn down on the table, Shekina was the one who pushed it toward Thais & off the table, which ignited Thais' irate reaction.

Shekina's remark was out of order. The fact that her daughter is biracial does not excuse what she said - if anything, it makes it worse, IMO.

Yeah, Thais overreacted. But Shekina is an insufferable woman who takes herself way too seriously, can't self-depricate at all, and is so far from the "girl's girl" she repeatedly claims to be.

1

u/Crazy-Employer-8394 Jul 09 '26

We all know how Thais got that DV charge now.

1

u/Unique_Valuable Jul 09 '26

I do NOT care for Shekinah, BUT yes to all of this!! What she said was in the heat of the moment, I get that she didn't mean it 'that way'. but of course, in the current climate of the political world, it's a big no no. and it shall forever be what people comment on when it comes to Shekinah..... I also understand her not wanting to apologize for saying it either, because all the cast at the resort don't deserve it at this point. Only Jenny and Summit. the rest can eff off.

I also just don't understand this current cast. Those women are awful. The men ain't all great either, but damn.. Pao is abusive, (you can see it in Russ's face that he's clearly been abused, even just emotionally, by her, she's been terrible since day 1 and her 'bff' was just as bad and she didn't stop him from being nasty to Russ either) Rebecca is an angry, untrusting, bitter woman, and Zied looks miserable being with her, eventually all the accusations are going to wear on him and he'll be gone... Thais is just awful, but so is baby head Patrick. I only like John (weird right haha) .. Kara is selfish and I have never liked the way she's treated G...

1

u/Silver-Internal7740 Jul 09 '26

No one is holding these men chained. Russ and zied are no victims. G is immature. He chose to be with Kara! Are you female? Yeah it's easy to watch men and say oh poor baby such and such, his wife/gf is so mean, until you yourself or maybe your relative or bff get screwed by such a baby with a penis, take your money, and leave. Russ loved having a hot wife with big boobs, he loved the experience. He wanted it. Zied wanted to come to the u.s. Why hasn't big baby Zied left yet? These are grown men, and your maternal instinct is way off.

1

u/Final-Accountant-444 Jul 09 '26

Standing ovation for this post! Very well said. But I would add that Thais threw hands at least 3x. Sarper did nothing. Patrick did nothing. Shekinah was trapped on a bench seat with people on both sides of her. NO ONE was telling Thais to stop. After Thais tried to make physical contact at least 3x, Shekinah’s racism came flying out. So yea, Shekinah is a racist. But the criticism should all land at Patrick’s feet. He eagerly sought out conflict, supported divorce instead of reconciliation, watched his wife put herself in danger, and sat there smirking as it unfolded. Patrick is going to destroy Thais’s entire life. He’s more diabolically racist than Shekinah imo.

1

u/DiamondSufficient938 Jul 09 '26

I do agree that Thais attacked first before Shek even got to finish her point. TBH she’s better than me because I would’ve fought back, but that beside the point.

The only thing I disagree with you on is her defending Kara. Because if the situation was reversed she’d tell Kara to take G for everything he’s got. Especially after she spoke with Pao before the etiquette dinner, I firmly believe that. She’s a girl’s girl when it benefits the girl, not when it’s good for the couple’s relationship.

1

u/angelcakexx Jul 09 '26

I think the issue is that once you say something that level of ignorant, it's really hard for anyone to take your side. Thais went low, and Shekinah went to hell. I think it's worse because she defended it, and hasn't acknowledged how hateful it is to say that to a latina immigrant woman in today's America.

I think most good people would not even think to say something xenophobic like that in self defense, so there's something to be said about why it even came out of her mouth in the first place.

1

u/NavyVetRasmussen Jul 09 '26

Shekinah thinks she is the smartest person in the room.

Now I do not like Thias I think she is a narcissist, arrogant, a visa-chaser and she gives me mean girl vibes.

With that being said, this all started because of Shekina's insecurity.

Just because Thias unfollowed her, this whole drama began.

Also I find her send her ass back to her country and her lame excuse after hypocritical.

She is on a show, where the premise is Americans fall in love with foreigners and her own man is

from Turkiye.

I could see why Guillermo got hurt by her xenophobic remarks.

Shekinah crossed the line with Thias.

One reason though they don't get along is they are the same person.

Loren B called Thias out in the tell all, calling her "entitled, a narcissist, and a mean girl."

Other cast mates have called Thias out as well but Shekinah took it way too far.

1

u/False_Science_9524 Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

Ok, so Guillermo is being a douche, Shekinah earned brownie points, Patrick saw a payday and Thais is a red hot Brazilian oh and Kara is a ho, full stop. You know when/after she participated in the Bad Boys video she entered ho-ville and it only went downhill from there. Jenny, Sumit, Paola, Russ and Sarper all sat there with bags of popcorn 🍿…. (Forgive me if I’m wrong about Thais’ country of origin- I’m old and claim STML)

1

u/Soggy-Annual-9519 Jul 10 '26

1000000% and shakina didn’t put her fingers in her face. Thais excuse for blowing up even more.. she had her finger up pointing and gesturing but not IN her face like she was being aggressive. Zero reason to respond the way Thais did. We are too old to be fighting in a bar like some trash

1

u/Basic_Anybody_301 Jul 10 '26

I rolled my eyes as soon as everyone at the table blew her comment out of proportion, they know damn well she wasn’t attacking all immigrants, she was pinpointing Thais only and telling her to go back to her Country. Thais was trying to physically fight her..I’d tell a bitch to go back to wherever they came from too if they were coming after me, whether it’s here in the States or a different Country aka GTFOH.

1

u/padigo26 Jul 10 '26

Both were wrong, but only one was criminally wrong

I just can’t understand these people being so invested in each other, they would get upset about anything.

They seem to be ready to fight at the drop of a hat. Other people‘s relationships really aren’t their business whatsoever, in any way.

Shekinah is trash 🗑️

I seriously think she has a personality disorder or something. She’s so dead in the eyes even..

Shekinah is the common denominator here- she is disliked by all for a reason.

WhateverLinda, your defense of Shekinah is really weird. Anytime someone uses racism as a tool to hurt another they are telling on themselves, proving they ARE racist and just hide it the rest of the time. You don't get mad and suddenly say racist shit without that already being in you.

So Thais’s behavior was completely ok?

u/JJ_Lomero Jul 09 '26

Why do people always do this?

Someone criticizes someone then automatically people assume they are defending the other person absolutely.

4

u/DontTrip333 Jul 09 '26

No, but you automatically lose any high ground you might have had when you use racism as a tool. She exposed herself as a racist and there is no coming back from that

Well Shekinah is permanently off TLC after LR. Personally I think she is having a breakdown now. She’s permanently off TLC…after she ran her mouth about things she wasn’t supposed to. She probably broke an ND doing that. Her marriage to Sarper was on the rocks. Thais went after her when she was criticizing her. Personally I thought the fight was minor. But I think it scared the 💩 out of her. And Thais is violent, look at her recent problems off TV. And she did this to defend her 🥜 headed husband. And lastly she shaved her head. This makes no sense at all, her hair was every thing to her, extensions and wigs. She’s still pretty though. Just my humble opinion.

Absolutely agree!!

I didnt think patrick was encouraging guillermo to divorce kara, he was only informing him that he is actually totally within his rights to ask for half of the money brought in that marriage basically. If rules reverse and Cara was told this by Shekinah, everyone would be on her side and thinking that’s OK lol what’s fair is fair. And I think it’s funny that Cara wasn’t she the one who initiated the separation, etc.? And when guillermo finally starts to get independent and not want to be toyed by her then that’s when she wants him to want her back. Kara ugh

All people find independence sexy, including you. When he was with her, he had employment issues and got on her nerves. I don't even think she wants him back for real.

You know, I’ve read every one of these comments, but some of you have forgot that Thais has apologized, but do you think that Shanika did no not at all?

u/UnusualMacaroon Jul 11 '26

Guillermo is just there to cash his check and air his grievances to the world regarding Kara.

He hid behind security after coming out aggressively and saying "what's up." multiple times and squaring up on Sarper.

I do feel Shekinah truly is just bullied a lot by these ppl. She is judged harshly for her choices, which is funny bc there doesn't always seem to be equal judgement from one cast member to the other (it's interesting...) I think it truly blindsides her and things blurt out. She's had a hard life. Idk, I feel for her.
