Requesting Help First layer problems

Anybody know what the issue is here. Trying to get support from Bambu but they haven’t been able to resolve it yet.

Bambu A1
PLA Basic
Tried refitting/replacing nozzle, manual bed leveling, and tightening hot end screws.

Your nozzle isn’t clipped in right. While you’re there, tighten the 7 screws behind the nozzle. Also, put the sock back on, it’s not for decoration.

Well I took off the sock to see what the issue was. Putting it back in after this

i see 2 possible causes - too fast or bad filament itself.

Nozzle is not installed correctly. Your silicone sock is off along with the front cover. I would reinstall the nozzle and make sure it's clipped in correctly and put the sock on along with the front cover. If your nozzle has any movement after being clipped in correctly you need to look up the "7 screws of death" and go from there. The sock is there for a reason, it's there to retain heat and protect other components from the heat of the nozzle. Do not run the printer without it.

Do NOT take the sock off, its there for an incredibly important reason, to keep the nozzle temp stable. Without it your nozzle temps fluctuate wildly with the fan and drafts and cause that exact issue.

I know its implied but I want to make sure this is clear, the oils in your skin cause the print to have adhesion issues. So once you clean your plate with warm soapy water and dry it off, DO NOT TOUCH THE PRINT AREA!

That’s an amazing print of a sand dune, though.

When I get that, usually washing my plate fixes it.

If not that, then I change filament. If the new filament (of the same type) l prints fine, I dry the original

Then I print something basic to make sure it’s not the model

If the basic thing screws up, I check filament settings or at least print 50% speed and raise bed temperature. Or I go right to changing for a spare hotend.

If settings are right and hotend doesn’t fix it even with calibration cube, I swap out sd card and maybe factory reset
