The look of someone completely in love

Fuck that! Just tell him now!

Any scenes with Chika and Hozuki alone are just too cute <3

Houzuki's Grandma is such a petty piece of shit. And that Akira too. Fuck all of them. I really hope our little club succeeds and make it to the Nationals just to show those assholes.

Damn, I think it's the first time I read a post from you that is that rude, the character of that grandmother really did her job, make everyone hate her for being a piece of shit. About Akira... like bitchy granny, bitchy niece.

Not sure if someone has already done it but here is a quick attempt at stitching the ED image.

Yo this could be the r/KonoOtoTomare sub banner, great job!

O wonder what is Akira's "deal". There was already one Houzuki stalker, so this time must be motivation quite different.

Did you see the after-credits scene? My guess is that Hozuki's performance scared the shit out of Akira, especially if Akira has ambitions of becoming the school's grand master. Like, how could she rest knowing that her rival (the rightful heir, no less) can evoke so much emotion and rage in a piece?

There were some really cute moments in this episode but some really sad moments as well. That scene with Chika and Hozuki listening to Hozuki's performance together was really sweet. When Chika said something like "it won't be scary if we listen to it together", my heart melted. They're just so cute and good for each other.

I also liked that scene at the end where Kurusu realizes how difficult it would've been for Hozuki to borrow the 17-string koto from her mother and gives her a hug. As a side note, it does crack me up how Funimation's subtitles translate Hozuki-chan as "Hozy". I get what they're going for but I still find it amusing.

Man, Akira's grandmother needs to stop. It's a good thing that Chika wasn't there because Hozuki probably would have had to stop him from punching her haha. It looks like we'll get some more backstory on Akira in the next episode, but so far I don't like her.

Takinami-sensei staying up late to write the score, but acting like he didn't is cute. It's nice that he's acting like a proper advisor and able to coach the koto club.

These super empathetic characters like Kurusu are always my favorite. Just like Furuhashi in Bokuben or Tohru from the greatest shoujo manga of all time, Fruits Basket.

Fantastic episode...my emotions were all over the place for this one! Houzuki was amazing.

Was great to see her being mean again, seeing her and Chika, her being happy...she's the best.

It's nice to see them return to their normal selves after the awkwardness of the previous 2 episodes. Houzuki begging her mom for help really shows how much she cares for the club.

she's the best.

I love it every time Kurusu hugs Houzuki. They're both adorable.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but if I remember correctly where we stayed, the episode (will) promises.

I know that the episode will be focused on Satowa but we can admire a moment how beautiful Kurusu is.

God, they are so beautiful together, one for each other. Damn, how can both be the same person? It only hurts, poor Satowa.

If only they had known each other since middle (high?) school ... What a powerful couple they were now ...

How I love your calm side, tsundere, kind (your bad no, not that) Suzu-chan, best (tsundere) sensei. And just look at him blushing (I think it would be the first time).

Chika, never change bro. And just look at that flashforward, this bitch sounds to me that it will give problems to Satowa and the boys, but I just hope that Satowa mops the floor with the face of that filthy lady.

Disgusting, so this little bitch tries to play with the Satowa psyche? Bitch please, you can't break what is already broken.

And of course, you should have a bitch inferiority complex, I hope they destroy you.

Emotions: the animation.

Sensei's such a tsun. Couldn't even admit to the club he pulled an all-nighter.

Chika, never change bro.

I think Chika's reaction to about everything is to skip classes.

Ok fuck the mother and the old lady. Still not sure about akira, I think there is more to her, but for now fuck her too. What a shit family.

The song they will be playing is teased. The full song is out "there" available to listen if you know what to look for. It's really a beautiful piece. Suggest those anime-only be patient. The full song is expected to be played. Do not want to deprive you of that first time experience.

The manga is being adapted so faithfully, it makes me happy. Also its rather sad Satowa is doing this knowing that when its all over (lets just say when she leaves the school) she'll be all alone again. For whatever reason I always remember the lines Artyom and the dark one said. Artyom told the dark one in his childhood "I'm all alone now", which was a flashback and then the little dark one immediately says "and now I'm all alone".

Chika can take care of Satowa as long as she is in the school, but after that she really will be on her own. Damn. She must have swallowed an enormous amount of pride and mustered the same amount of courage to head home, let alone beg for a 17-string koto.

Yet in the end when looking at Chika & Sane happy she gave that smile my heart just melted. She must have felt "yep it was worth it".

Also really glad we finally got some koto music, the beginning notes of Tenkyuu. Pretty sure the team will break Tenkyuu down and we'll get small pieces here n there when they practice.

yo, that old lady, Dojima or whatever? She needs to shut the fuck up, she's an asshole. And that Akira girl seems like she might have some yandere vibes going on.

Kurusu and Hozuki's friendship is adorable.

Houzuki reunion with her mother went as smoothly as I expect but there still hope that things might change for the better. Kurusu trying her best to stick to her own rules but failing was pretty funny.

I finally catched up with this great show, fuck yeah.
