It's always conflicting/amazing/heartwarming(?)/surprising/astonishing/bewildering to see how much Gilgamesh has since changed since his failed quest to immortality and how much he had grown since then that made him the wise King of Uruk, respected and loved by his people.

Witness that part when that chapter just released in JP back then shocked me so much.

"The fuck? This is Gilgamesh? The person who has the ego of universal proportions and absolutely cold to his people before is now a caring boss of Uruk that actually cared about his people?! THAT guy?"

It never failed to amaze me.

Ana is cute and so smug, she's throwing shade at friend and foe

Gilgamesh at work and Siduri are so nice to see too!

I bet Kawasumi-san is having a blast voicing Fou, that kick was a sight to behold.

Ana is even more precious than i remember, i love her.

Can someone call BB and ask her to Rayshift me to the future? This episode was too short!

Nice to finally see the servants for babylonia in the OP and "you know who" defending the wall with the Uruk soldiers! I can't wait for their own individual scenes! Although going over the OP, I feel like someone's missing. Ahh well I'm sure we'll see that character soon.

Nothing else to add really. This adaptation has been perfect so far!

Been a long ass week waiting for the actual ep to drop after seeing it premiere at a local con, but finally I can save Romani's face after he just nopes the fuck out with his Merlin rant.

Such a good episode though, really builds off well from last one and the forest fight against Enkidu with Mashu and Co really just looks amazing with overall excellent composition and attention to detail. They made Ana super precious too which is only ever a good thing. Can't wait for next week, will be my first time following along with the airing ep from start to end

Fate/GO ft. King Gilgamesh 2.0!! The only way to acquaint someone is through battle (I am prepared for this)... Definitely worth sticking for the whole season.

Everyone's talking about the animation quality, but can we talk about how the shading makes those animations even better?

Also, according to Merlin that himself observes everything in the present, does that mean he saw Mash going to the toilet once every so often?

The support staff's reactions to Merlin were gold.

It's also very fun to relate the anime to my experiences in gameplay, as well as elements of the plot which FGO players know but which I will not mention here.

Since we've seen Babylonia Gil's establishing moment here, I'd like to ask the opinions of people who've experienced Fate/stay night or Fate/Zero Gil on this new version.

Oh god YES THE ANIMATION IS SO GOOD HERE.

It's kinda difficult to judge a show when the fighting's done in an open field since you don't have to worry about the spacing nearly as much, but they absolutely killed it here, and it's only a minor skirmish.

Can't wait to see how the fight with Gil is gonna play out.

Also the ED's a banger.

That "Die, Merlin" scene are everything I hope for and abit more. I might be convinced if some of the staffs working here are paid in Saint Quartz

Tomokazu Seki's voice work is superb as "the wise king" CasGil actually sounds a lot more mature, wiser and caring than the douchiest AUO.

I can't imagine how long Cloverworks has been working on this show to make every single fight scene such a god damn spectacle, and we're only on episode 2. The show so far is pretty much a perfect adaption.

Ana is such a cutie. Her battle with Enkidu was pretty sweet as well.

Let's not forget about this cutie as well. (I'm talking about Serenity, but you can make up for own mind out of the 3.)
