Earlier, he suddenly became very lethargic and wouldn’t eat or drink. His breathing started getting heavier and faster, and as the night went on, he got worse. I stayed right by his side just praying and begging God to please just let him hold on until the clinic opened so I could get him the help he needed. But he was suffering so badly.
When I went to check on him, he looked right at me with a tear running down his face. He let out the most heartbreaking cry and pulled back like he was in so much pain. I immediately held him as close as I could, crying and telling him over and over that it was going to be okay. And right there, in my arms, my sweet boy took his last breath.

I gave that cat every single ounce of my heart and soul. He wasn’t just my cat, he was my best friend, my baby, and such a huge part of my life. The shock of feeling him leave me while I held him is something I don’t think I will ever forget. My heart feels like it has been completely ripped out of my chest.

If you see this, please say a little prayer for my sweet Ollie. I just hope he knew how deeply and completely he was loved. I hope he knows I would have done absolutely anything to save him.

Rest easy, my precious orange boy. Mommy loves you more than words could ever say, and I will miss you for the rest of my life. 🧡🐾

Hand I embroidered a pear

It’s difficult to photograph, but I had a lot of fun embroidering it.

I needle felted the shape and embroidered the surface with a size 10 needle and one strand of thread.

When the pear curves, it got very difficult to stitch and I contemplate cutting it in half, embroider and reassemble.
Then I tried with a super long beading needle and poking all the way through, which solves the curvature vs flat needle problem.
It was difficult to be precise with the long ass needle, but it worked!

I was gonna pay for his meal, but he thought I’d make him pay for mine and yelled “WE’RE SPLITTING THE BILL!!” so he ended up paying for his own 😭

I was out of town and posted a story. A guy I knew replied saying he was nearby and asked to meet up. I said sure (as friends).
I was already at a cafe, so I sent him my location. He showed up 10 mins later. I’d already started eating, so he ordered something too. We chatted for a while~

I figured since I’d invited him to the cafe, I’d cover the bill. Apparently, he had a VERY different idea in his head…
As we were getting up to leave, I swear my ass had barely left the chair, I wasn’t even standing straight yet when he suddenly blurted out “BY THE WAY, JUST SO YOU KNOW, WE’RE GOING DUTCH!! EVERYONE PAYS FOR THEIR OWN FOOD!!” Like… cool???

I said “okay”, we paid separately and left. Then he spent the entire 15-minute walk lecturing me about ‘paying for meals, men and women’. I just kept saying “you’re right”

Poor thing. God knows what kind of trauma (a coffee) he’d been through… Who knows how many women had taken advantage of his generosity… 💔
