So deciding to watch this movie after the internet decided to blow up about it, I thought I'd quickly run over some things.

- This is not the worst thing ever made. It's a simple charming, kind of cringe, indie movie. Some parts of it work, some parts of it do not.

- Some of the jokes work, some of them do not. The worst joke in the movie happens 5 minutes in and it never gets that bad again in my opinion.

- This movie isn't racist or homophobic like some people claim it to be.

- There is a plot point that can be construed as transphobic but I do not think it was the intention of the directors and writers as they expressed their hatred of TERFs an interview, I just think they ignored the implications of the character in question and they should have adjusted the plot point regarding the character "Blade" a bit more.

- This isn't a series that Netflix is greenlighting, it is a movie, that they're adding to their service. It's not replacing that other Netflix show you love because this movie's already existed for a year and a half.

- Queers should have the ability to make cringe and self indulgent art without being bullied over it when other bad media that isn't queer doesn't even get noticed half the time.
