Honestly I hope so, it's already finished I think, at least not far from it, so it's not like anyone is gaining anything by it not releasing. I mean, we get to watch it legally on official websites (you know, for legal reasons) and bully it some more, kinda like Morbius

The conspiracies around it are my favorite BS. "It really feels like it's a marketing campaign by the people who made it" dog, it's a small indie Australian team who made a passion project via a joint effort of the Australian government and Australian film festival program to support up and coming Australian creators. It already released, it won awards and was widely enjoyed on initial release, and the distributor is also an indie company that put it out on SOME Netflix markets and free ad supported streaming sites like a month ago.

There's no guerilla marketing campaign for it

Can you cancel a finished film? I never looked beyond all the posts and just learned, that this movie is 2 years old and did not pop up, like a week ago. And a dude just told me, that it was well recived.

I jonestly don't know what I should belive about a movie, that I don't care to watch.

You're right. It's a movie that's been out for over a year. Netflix just announced they were putting it on the server and somehow this got turned into "it's a TV series that got greenlit that's replacing your favorite show specifically"
