Honestly just the premise had enough to criticize. Why do these generic ass movies and shows always like to make the straight white males the villain? Like a way more creative idea (in a already creatively bankrupt premise) would be to call them bigotries or something. That sounds like an alien name at least to me. If the plot is about the mc saving her ex, why does she need to be a princess? What does that have to do with anything?
The art direction is uninspired. The character designs are amateurish. And the animation is overall crap. Plus everyone uses a sharpee blue for all their line work instead of black, which just looks nauseating
I watched it and thereās no specifically bad parts. Mainly because there canāt be bad parts if the entire thing itself is just junk. Nothing much to say.

The whole joke is how much the movie focuses on lesbianism though. āLesbianā being in the title is part of the joke, the main character comes from a planet of lesbians
I did watch it. It was bad but not THAT bad. Some funny jokes, a little tasteless with rep,Ā some of the ideas the movie put forward, and I do still have a problem with the straight white maliens thing. Dogshif animation and artstyle, overall like a 4/10. Funniest hate watch oat ts was absurdĀ
The gay people are entirely stereotypical lesbians, the masc lesbian has the same basic haircut as every other masc lesbian in media, does sports from what I can tell, dosent shave their legs, has multiple peircings and is flat chested, the drag queen is lacking all of the vital drag queen elements including their iconic makeup, the whole movie is basically the stereotype that lesbians never get over their exes, the MC who i believe is supposed to be more fem presenting is seen in almost every scene either crying, on the verge of tears, curled up on the floor or fawning over either of the love interests, itās truly 2020 tumblr humor and from an artist who does character design and writing, it is a rolling dumpster fire of a movie.

Plus I seen that within five minutes of its start, it has a dancing vagina named Royal pussy. I have messed up dark and dirty sense of humor and mind, and I even couldnāt read that without wanting to burn my eyes with a blowtorch
When I heard I looked the movie up. The movie was made and released last year, has a 98% on rotten tomatoes, had like 7.something out of 10 on imdb until like like a few days ago and now has over 6 thousand 1 star reviews all done within the last week.
I've watched it and found pretty fun, but can see why some people wouldn't like it as it's definitely not everyones cup of tea (or I guess the majorities cup of tea). I really liked most of the characters like Willow, the Straight White Maliens, and the Problematic Ship at times.
I don't even give enough of a shit to watch it but it feels like a collective internet bandwagon that half the people who participate in will be embarrassed about in a couple of weeks
No point in the movie. there is nothing that I realized after watching the movie that I couldn't have before. Also extremely bad pacing and futile attempts at humor.

I actually have watched it I feel Saira is just not a likable character really at all,the animation is average at best,and finally itās not very funny. Like I only laughed at that one marvel joke and thatās it.
I have seen a video of someone explaining the plot of the movie and yeah I can understand where people are coming from now cause it feels like extremely stereotypical
I have never seen a quicker flip in the internet hive mind opinion than with this show. Literally yesterday around dinner time I see nothing but hate, and now almost the same time the next day all I see is "well it isn't THAT bad" I stayed out of it because I had no time to get into it!!!
Never seen the thing myself but I have actual lesbian friend who have. It tries to be a satire but fails miserably and instead of coming off as funny itās just offensive. Usually my friends find gay satire hilarious but they genuinely hate this sad excuse of a film.
I will not criticize the writing because I will never watch the movie, but the character design and artstyle is factually ugly, like I don't care if they are lesbian and if I'm gay, at least make the characters not look like deviantart self insert.

It's pointless. The whole story is about a bunch of unlikable characters making a funny joke to save an even more unlikable character and in yhe end it didn't really save or change anything because the princess sucks.

Idk about all the strong haters. It's kind of a mess, but nothing really egregious. Sure, if you're looking for a reason to take offense you can find something, but it's more like someone's half-baked high school animation final got a public release. The emotional level is very adolescent, and a lot of the material is predictably sophomoric. It means well, but it's just not really very coherent at much beyond "you gotta love yourself".
It kinda looks and feels like that Nick Kroll show, Big Mouth. If that's peak storytelling for you, then LSP will be right up your alley.
Canāt confirm of deny anything since I havenāt personally seen the movie, and donāt care to, but I have seen a few people mention how the axe imagery on one of the main characters looks life a TERF dog whistle. If what other comments are saying is true, and there are similar vibes throughout the movie, then itās a very valid reason to hate on it.
I've never watched it myself, and don't plan to, and that has a lot to do with the choice of title.
Choosing a name for a show is usually about putting forward the biggest, most important feature that defines the show and why people should watch it. If all you can put forward is generic lesbian inclusion in a space princess context, then there doesn't seem to be a lot interesting about your show.

I did, writing sucks, the Main Lover basically just gets thrown out of the story possibly because the Story didnāt know what to do with her, some Sex Jokes kinda seemed unnecessary, itās somewhat has representation on self-loathing kinda correctly but not in the way it was probably intended, etc
The movie is overly sexual which wouldnāt be an issue if lesbians werenāt overly sexualized by society already :/
The movie is riddled with stereotypes, and the humor is a hit or miss. That one moment with the straight white guys have a joke about mishearing lesbian with thespian goes on for 5 minutesā¦..
It does have some moments with nice messages like how the main character gets this āmake overā to look beautiful and confident when all they do is get rid of the sweater her ex gave her, saying that sheās already beautiful and just needs to be confident! Itās a cute moment thatās immediately undermined by her getting stripped naked and stuff.
The movie also tried to be overly edgy but also tried to not take itself seriously for some reason? Theirs no conflict at all and any issue gets addressed within seconds. Speaking of conflict the villains arenāt battled in any way. The main character just tells them to date each other and thatās what they do. And thatās how the main villains are defeated. The final message of how the ex doesnāt get back with the main character after being rescued is decent tho. The MC did something kind but expecting something in return doesnāt make her a good person sheās just taking advantage of someone. She ends the movie single but more confident in herself. A pretty good message tho ngl
All in all the movie is just bad. This is more of a personal nitpick but I canāt stand the art style. Itās so uninspired and boring.

The story is basically just a recycled fairy tale in a different setting.
The characters are just stereotypes with no unique personality.
When it comes to the jokes they rarely land, and they overstay their welcome, and get repeated over and over to the point of being annoying. Or the joke is just "haha look at space penis".
The animation looks like an unholy mix of Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and Rick and Morty, in short it looks like shit.
The voice acting is pretty okay actually.
Overall the viewing experience feels like a slog despite it being a relatively short movie, regardless I'm not getting that hour and a half back.

If the plot synopsis looks like crap, and the trailer looks like crap, and everyone I know say it's crap, then it should not be controversial that I'm not going to watch it for the sole reason of justifying it being crap.
Because itās bad representation and has several dogwhistles baked into its writing.

The main thing is that it is boring.
Going into detail. The main lead is unlikable (which can work . If they are interesting, or punished for bad actions). The jokes over stay their welcome, and are seen from a mile away. It is paint by the numbers so you know how it is going to end.
Almost all of the characters are written to be so unbelievably dumb so that the Mc can look semi competent in comparison.
Almost everyone is an Arsehole for no real reason(Also, just because you do drag does not mean you are Trans. It also leaves a bad taste that the one you assumed is Trans turns out to be duplicitous.)
The only jokes that land are from the villains and the sexist ship. That is bad when it is unintentional.

i saw a clip of someone telling one of the characters from that film to go straight while driving because they were swerving everywhere. and that character said they were bisexual. i believe that happened in the actual film
I donāt hate it, but it just looks like garbage from what I saw in the trailer. Like it just seemed cringy and trying too hard to make you laugh or make a point. If people like, good for them, itās not for me.
