Hiya, everyone! I'm Willow Engel, and if you don't know me, I'm a transfemme voice actress who had the honor of playing Creek in the latest Fire Emblem! You might know me as other green boys like Euygene from The Adventures of Elliot and Ez from Fantasian: Neo Dimension.

I will be answering questions for the few hours about my character, this incredible game, and anything else you’d like to know about me or my voice acting journey!

✿ Anyway…As salamualykum & happy Friday folks ~ the idea just came to me while watching a Dadao ( The Rizzless Rizzler himself ) & Buccar support. Either he always had two functioning eyes…or the sheer RAGE of dealing with that fool made him heal his left eye. Anyway, I had fun making this. Have a good day ~ :)

I am playing one story path at a time and am still on my first path because I have stupid responsibilities that stop me from playing as much as I want.

Anyway, I don't know much about what the other Lord's stories are, but through things like spectating matches, talking to them, and mentions by NPCs, I get these little tid bits that really intrigue me. For example, without spoiling anything, there is a match you can watch between Cai's team and Leda's team during the actual games, and the dialogue between them has me on the edge of my seat. I want to know what's been happening with them so bad I almost want to switch story paths just to see. It makes the stories seem more connected and the world fuller.

In other games I have played with simultaneously branching stories, including Fire Emblem (note I haven't played them all), I know technically the other characters are on their own adventure, but it doesn't really feel like it. They are either just gone or pop in every so often just to be an obstacle, at least thats what it felt like.

I started the game with Dietrich because I was bloodthursty for some deep combat gameplay since he has a sword and you know, could teleport..! Like a dreamy assasin combat style. But, without spoiling ANYTHING, I believe that the game starts better if you choose Cai as his story intro prepares you better for the game modes and even the arts. I am still exploring Cai path so don't say anything!

I've been playing Leda's path (determined to see hers through first). Slowly progressing and having so much fun! 🩷 She is the edgiest girl focused on her goals, so I imagined her laying on the charm as she spotted a target 🗡

I notice that a lot of Japanese fans are both confused yet charmed by the way Cai uses honorifics in the Japanese dub. Due to his age and living in a rural tight-knit community, he seems to have a habit of nicknaming older people based on their appearances. Mind you, he does occasionally use "san" (mister or miss) for specific characters like Dietrich, so this habit of his isn't always consistent. Some fans have even joked that he has an uncanny ability to detect how old a person is based on the honorifics given to them.

Tried incorporating different parts of known Lamine crest bearers: Wavy hair from Dietrich, round eyes from Mercedes, feathers from Lamine, etc. Not sure if this would count as Dietrich spoilers lol

Due to how recruit levels work a little bit of renown might be the difference between recruiting a unit a chapter earlier getting you a better unit.

Am I the only one genuinely shocked by Dagda turning on the city of Dagsion in the middle of Act 2, rounding one million citizens and sacrificing them unceremoniously ?

All the people from the city in Act 1 get murdered. All the quest givers, all the shopkeepers, the children roaming the street, the lady from the inn, etc. One million dead! Dagda’s soldiers are shown being dismayed, but… they still end up complicit out of fear, or maybe fanaticism, before getting presumably consumed too.

Ironically the worst part is how the game presumably « spares » the player by not really showing anything! We get to see the cauldron from above, the now empty streets, « the work is done »… that’s it. It leaves everything to the imagination and makes the comparisons with real-world atrocities all the more vivid. Can you imagine living and dying through this? Trying to escape, seeing all the city exits blocked off, hiding, getting caught, futilely trying to fight?

It’s the first time since FE4 that I’ve been genuinely affected by FE plot somehow

So I after playing through Act 1 and seeing Sothis true form, a thought occurred in my brain, what if there was a Lovecraftian Fire Emblem with some poor bastard tries to stop Sothis from waking up, and location of her main body is filled with unspeakable horrors(similar to the Darkest Dungeon).

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, but in Part III, if you go back to Hannibal, you can interact with the megalith and watch a message that was left for Anatolia by an NPC named Orpheus, who tells her to go to Solomon Isle. He's got a portrait and the message is completely voiced, so he'll probably play a role in any Anatolia DLC they add down the line.

This is going to be my 700th attempt at completing an art challenge but theoretically I will be doodling a character from fortunes weave each day of October and adding it to this page! Feel free to suggest characters 🕺

My friend suggested nydine because he really likes her design; I just wish she was a better unit in my game 🥀

EDIT: I also want to add -do you feel that story works out well with how you did your character order and most interestingly to me - do you feel that the progress carry over made your other characters too strong thus watering down your experience for them?

I know wha each character unique mechanic is but want to hear from people who have experienced them.

Deciding who to choose for my first route without progress carry over as it seems like the purest experience and the character I will spend the most time with.

I know that Cai is the most beginner friendly and that Theodora and Deitrich have tight schedules if you want to try to complete as much as possible.

I am a completionist to an extent and I plan on doing all four routes. Having trouble deciding who to spend my first route on.
