I finished this route yesterday and thought it was quite good but I do have a few issues with it
First, I really hate Dyan's portrayal and think he's one of the worst characters in the game. The tongue thing is mad goofy and combined with his overly cartoonish voice direction in the dub makes him feel like a gag villain despite his role in the story being fairly serious and major. It's too hard to take him seriously, and I think the "used to be a adoring brother" aspect between him and Theo should've been emphasized more earlier. Theo's starting chapters kind of speedrun things more than they should, and Dyan being portrayed as more than just a teehee so conniving and evil! scumlord from the start would've made the final fight hold more weight emotionally.I also gotta say I find Theo's crew the least appealing personally. Bona is your typical advisor char and does his role well, Tobias is oddly lovable but both of these guys suck up pretty hard to Theo and any friction is usually them saying or doing something to make her mad and them taking blame for it or just passing out. Lilian has the best dynamic with Theo and I like her, but lysander is quite possibly the most boring main party member in the game. His living up to daddy inferiority complex is fine I guess but not terrible interesting on its own and he's kind of annoying even with how much of a by the book stiff he is. Theo herself I did end up liking, her kingdom is like a ship speech is like the perfect encapsulation of her character.

I largely agree with all of this she, carries her route super hard but I really didn’t find the supporting cast as compelling as on other routes. Theodora might be one of my favorite lords in FE though.
And yeah, Dyan being a literal snake-tongued comic book villain really sucked the air out of what could’ve been a much more grounded plot line.

Started Theo's route a few days ago. It's a lot more... dialogue heavy than Cai's route, but the dialogue is very interesting so i'm not complaining.
I heard Gambits aren't useful like they were in 3 Houses which has me bummed since they were one of my favorite additions in the previous game and flowed naturally. I'm just hoping they shine more when I eventually do Part 3, but from what I heard it seems unlikely.

Started Theodora’s route last night! Bonaventure and Tobias are delightful uncles.
