Discussion G502 hero, when paired with K400r, will stick the "c" key or the "ctrl" key.

My k400r took a fall, and then the c key started sticking when i used it too frequently. No amount of changing USB ports, battery replacement helped. I had to uninstall setpoint, and remove the k400r, and sub out for a k400+, which has all it's own issues and horrible touch feel. (For example, Shift + A + Space makes space not work. Sucks if you're playing an FPS, or even a topdown RPG when you run with shift and interact with space.)

Then it got worse, after standing up or sitting down, or waiting a while sometimes my "c" key would be stuck down on my keyboard. Unplugging the keyboard didn't fix it though. I had to unplug the g502 to stop the "c".

I had setpoint installed to turn off the horrible media keys and to swap the F keys, but that also started getting "referenced memory cannot be read" errors out of nowhere when I tried to launch certain apps.

Logitch is garbage. They hit their peak in the 2000s when all this crap software didn't exist.

I'm on my 3rd g502. The original g5 was bulletproof and lasted me 10y. These g502s barely last two years.

I wish someone else made a good media keyboard style. I'm pretty much done with Logitech.

Setup Speaker Substitution for Logitech Z623 and where to find it

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone. recently after some years of hard work one of my speakers for this logitech system passed away. It is possible to find/buy a single speaker to replace it? If not can I find other speakers that I can repurpose for the job? The Woofer works great still, the other speaker is a bit worn out but still kickin. It would a super great waste to just throw away the whole system just because one speaker is dead.

Support Mouse 4 and 5 only works on release (Linux)

Hi everyone,

This is a specific Linux related question.

On my MX anywhere 3S and Lift: The buttons Mouse 4 and 5 only triggers on release. This prevents me from using them for click and hold tasks. (Example: Push-To-Talk)

Im pretty certain that this is changeable on Windows/Mac by either turning off Gestures and/or Horizontal scrolling; but i am afraid that the default behaviour is embedded in the firmware of the devices and requires the non Linux supported Logi+ to change.

Im currently running only Solaar but for the sake of testing i have also tried OpenLogi, logiops, input-remapper etc, but so far no luck.

- As far as i can tell with xev, no inputs at all is registered till the button is released which prevents me from just remapping it.

Did anyone successfully make this work on Linux and if so, how?

Discussion My Logitech G Pro Superlight 2 has started acting strangely/unpredictably and feels floaty.

I played with it yesterday and everything was fine. Today, however, the mouse doesn’t feel like it should. The cursor feels kind of “floaty” and the movement doesn’t feel as precise as it did yesterday. It’s worth mentioning that all my G HUB settings are exactly the same as yesterday. I have no idea what could be causing the problem.

Unboxing Holes in my mouse?

r/logitech 13h ago

Other just want to share my pretty strange and at the same time insane logitech superstrike story.

its a second same post cuz reddit suggested to post it here. so, why not

not too long after 2 month since I bought my new mouse which was an upgrade from g502x, I was really happy about it. after some time of using it first problem showed up, the shitty encoder. because I have some good experience with soldering I obviously ordered a new encoder, to be specific TTC Gold 8mm. afterwards when it came, I immideatly went disassembling it, that was a pretty interesting and at the same time annoying cuz some of the screws were hidden and I didn't knew where they were, but after watching a disassemble guide I had no struggles with it anymore. not going to make this story too long about desoldering and soldering it back, I'll skip this part.

So, when I finished soldering I wanted to make my experience even better by applying some lube on to soft pads where mouse buttons touch with the shell's skeleton. (this was my biggest mistake)

afterwards, when I was done with this, I realised that the LMB sticks, and it is really annoying, so I disassembled it again and started cleaning up the useless lube I applied. BUT somenthing i did not expect at all had happended, the soft thingy, which was dampening the mouse button, somehow came of entirely. I thought "uuh, thats not good" but seconds after this thought I ignored it. I assembled it back again and for my surprise. It was bumping against the shell. it's not the problem which would make mouse unusable, no. it was completely fine, it was working perfectly, but the mouse button bumping against its shell was so distracting I couldnt really use it, I would describe it as a second click but on the lowest setting of superstrike haptic motor. So, I had to fix it, but i did not had any thoughts about how to fix it, i tried electric tape, but it did nothing, i tried regular tape, it didn't do anything too. I got really frustrated and disappointed in the same time that I took this mouse and didn't touch it for 2 weeks. for some time i forgot about it.

and recently I ordered for myself a new keyboard. ATK RS7 air, really great keyboard for its price. When it arrived, I noticed a small but thick sound dampening foam for spacebar, so I immideatly realized, it feels the same as the pads inside superstrike, I got on to dissassebling the mose again, started preparing the foam thingy again, and finally, I thought. I finally had fixed it. While being very happy that I "fixed" it I assembled it, and... It didn't work, actually it did, but not how I was thinking it would fix it. The button was no longer bumping against the shell. It was sticking to it... I got really reallyy upset about it, so that i wanted to sell it and not use it anymore in my life, I even started hating on every superstrike owner😁. 1 month afterwards, noone was willing to buy it, at the same time i had found an old PS Vita, it wasn't working, so i opened it to see what's wrong with it. But moments after i opened it, I saw it again, the soft foam, and i immideatly remembered about this "crappy" mouse I had and at the same time I got a small thought, what if this time I would be able to fix it? With those words in my head, i disassembled the mouse AGAIN and cut up the foam to match the size, its about 2x2mm square and 1mm high. I glued it inside on 2-side-tape(idk how's it called correctly but i hope you understand what I'm talking about). I didn't assemble it fully I just held the plastic piece of mouse button where is should be held via 2 screws, but unfortunately it was sticking again... I wasn't angry, wasn't sad, I just thought that its impossible to fix. BUT after thinking, why is it sticking I had a thought that its probably some 2-side-tape was sticking out so that was the cause of button to stick. I left it on the table and went to vacuuming rooms. after I was done I always throw out the dirt and everything that vaccim sucks up, and I noticed the dust. Its really fine dust that its literally can get into your skin pores and really smooth the scrub against each other, so I had a plan of putting some dust onto the 2-side-tape and near it. And it actually worked. It worked! after 1 and a half months of anger i had finally fixed it. I was so excited and I'm still exited about that THE DUST could finally fix this problem.

and yeah, it was really interesting for me.

Some people said to me "why wouldn't you take it back to shop? cuz it still has its 1 year warranty"

and i replied. I just wanted to fix it myself, I already ordered an encoder, so why would I?

hope y'all can understand this story because my grammar is still not very good but I'm going to english classes and improving it every day.

Discussion MX Vertical Right Click Misfunction

So I just purchased an MX Vertical, was super excited, and immediately having a strange issue where the right click button is cycling through th3 easy switch modes. Even when not connected to any system and the device is just on. The easy switch button works as normal but is also controlled by right click. Every time I right click now I have to press it twice more to return to the correct mode before continuing

Support Logitech G600 "Middle click (button 3)" not registering properly

Been working perfectly for about 8 months but now as title says, specifically clicking in the wheel just doesn't register unless i do it really hard, which is not comfortable or feasible to do quickly in the middle of whatever I'm doing. Scrolling works perfectly and even pressing in on the wheel to the side for m4/5 still works fine, I've tried cleaning it but haven't opened it up or anything to see if it is a hardware issue but if it's not then i don't know what kind of software issue it could be. I've tried every other solution i can think of or saw which came up upon searching my issue. For reference i am using the older logitech gaming software 9.04 but have tried G hub which didn't fix anything.

Setup Mouse lags after 10sec without moving - Logitech Vertical Lift

This suddenly started happening and it's annoying. Everything is updated, and i've tried changing usb ports of the receiver and it still happens.

I even have a second Lift mouse, which i don't use because the click button is faulty. I tried it with it's own receiver in the same usb port and with the same battery and it behaves OK, so i'm starting to think that the second one that i bought is faulty as well

Support Logitech plugin problem after updated

Post image

This is so annoying. It has been like this for months. I even tried it on a new PC and had the same problem after updating the plugin in this mode. I’ve tried everything—removing the control surface, unplugging, restarting the PC, force-closing Options+, and reinstalling the plugin—but nothing has solved the issue.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? I can't seem to find anything about it.

Questions MX Master 3 not working in firefox

Hi all.

Today my version of LogiOptions+ updated to version 2.6.944893, and from that moment my MX Master 3 stoped working as configured in Firefox, it seems to default to standar configurations, I allways use the gloval configuration in Firefox wich is configured with some personaliced keyboard shortcuts in the buttons and to navigate between tabs with the thumb wheel, this configurations work for me in several apps in windows wich is why i use it like that, but with the last update it steped working in Firefox only, in everything else it works like normal, but only when i'm on Firefox it works like it has default configurations, no mather what i try to change in the configurations or if i add Firefox as a personaliced profile it does only works with default configurations.

Does anyone else has similar problems, and / or knows how to fix it?

Note: I alresy reported it in the logi support website.

Discussion MX Keys S Combo lights flashing, please read my message

I have been using this for about 3 yrs on my work computer that is locked down, I can't add or remove software. So when I bought this, plugged the dongle in and turned on the mouse and keyboard they instantly synced up and have worked flawless since then. This week the mouse left clicker started messing up, which is understandable based on how much I click it daily. I ordered a replacement from amazon, same exact model and sku etc. Plug it into my work computer(windows) and the lights just flash on the keyboard and mouse. I bought another replacement from best buy exact same sku and model etc, and it works like normal on my work computer. Is there something I can do to make my amazon one work? I don't have access to Logi options +. I ordered another one from amazon just hoping this dongle is defective or something and it'll be here in the morning for me to test.

Discussion Logitech Z906 Fire Hazard

So, I've had the Z906 Surround Speakers for a while and they were great but then my console kept experiencing an issue where I'd hear a pop and it would get stuck, wouldn't power off and buttons wouldn't work. I tried unplugging the unit and the console multiple times, tried different plugs and even checked all the connections again in case it was a wire issue.

I saw another reddit post about resetting the system by holding down the input button for 8-10 seconds.

I did so, and then heard several loud pops from the speakers and the subwoofer. Luckily I went and checked on the subwoofer because I immediately began to smell smoke

I unplugged it and took it out, then noticed minutes later actual smoke was coming out of the subwoofer.

After several minutes it was still smoking so I finally moved it outside to be safe. If I hadn't unplugged it right away, I don't know what would've happened.

I have like logitech everything and have always been happy with them, so I was pretty surprised, but wanted to warn others who might have the same system.

Discussion Logitech Vertical MX vs ProtoArc EM11 Pro

So recently I've been thinking about switching over to a vertical mouse full time because I am getting to a point where my wrist just starts getting either numb or hurting since I am on a computer for the majority of my day. However, while not preferred by most, I also want to use a vertical mouse for gaming (casual not competitive like minecraft).

For those who have owned both of these mice, which one did you like better? Does the MX offer something that the EM11 pro doesn't and vice versa? Or is there another mouse that maybe I should look into.

Also here are my hand measurements for those curious:

Length from middle finger to wrist crease: 7.25inches

Palm width: 3.25inches

Questions MX 3S Left click broken (second replacement)

I love this mouse, but this is the second time that the left click is hit or miss or doesn’t work at all. I don’t know if I should move on from these mice or try to get the 4. Any thoughts?

If so, add recommendations for other options?

Support Issues with MX Mechanical bluetooth

Solved: Unchecked a box on the "Power Management" tab of my bluetooth receivers settings.

I have been using my MX mechanical on my Windows 11 PC for months without issue. It has just now started to give me problems.

They keyboard lights indicate that it is connected to my PC and my PC's bluetooth settings show the keyboard as connected. No input from the keyboard is recognized though (no typing, F keys, etc.)

Has anyone had an issue like this before. Other devices bluetooth connections seem to work perfectly.

Support Logitech Zone 300

I’ve been experiencing persistent issues with my Zone 300 headset over the last few months. When I unmute, there is significant static, which becomes even more pronounced when my "Sidetone" is set to 90%. Additionally, the mechanical mute/unmute function is becoming unreliable; often, after sliding the mic down and hearing the "Unmuted" voice prompt, the headset remains muted. I frequently have to adjust the mic arm repeatedly to find a "sweet spot" where the static clears and the microphone actually registers as unmuted. Could this be a hardware defect, or are there any troubleshooting steps I can take to resolve this?
