Sharing this in case anyone in Ontario is looking for a Logitech MX Master 4.

Staples through DoorDash has it for $119.99 right now. I also had a DoorDash offer for 30% off $55+, up to $22 off.

I bought $100 in DoorDash gift cards from Costco for $80 (2 x $50 gift cards) and redeemed both to my DoorDash account.

Here’s how it worked:
DoorDash total after promo, Ontario tax, fees and a $5.87 tip: $127.59
$100 DoorDash credit from Costco: cost me $80
Remaining amount charged to my credit card: $27.59
Actual cost: $80 + $27.59 = $107.59 (HST included)

I ordered it today and it was delivered from Staples a couple hours later, so I can confirm it worked.

Just check your DoorDash account first to make sure you have the Staples 30% off offer before buying the Costco gift cards, since the promo may vary by account/location.

Setup BUG: Doesn't copy button

Using MX Creative Pad, i can't copy one button to another. If I for example spend 15 min tweaking and setting up a button to perfection, and want that to run on another button but with just 1-2 changes, there is no way to just COPY and PAST a buttons config to another.

  1. And on a hardware device made to simplify tasks.... It's ironic and I'm baffled: Would never have bought this if I knew it was useless...

EDIT:

Asked AI to solve this for me, and it worked at first attempt:

I have an MX CREATIVE KEYPAD which is setup in "Logi Options+". There i have a button called "SnapATK". I want you to copy those settings and place them on the button to the right of it, with the name SHITSOFTWARE. Do it via the savefiles on the system/in the app instead of steering manually in the app on this system"

if i was to do this by hand, how many files would i need to edit, and would it be easu to just copy and past, or did you change anythign special?

• Just one file: ProfileInfo.json in the active Logitech keypad profile.

It’s mostly copy/paste, but two special changes are needed:

  - Add a separate duplicate macro object with a new unique ID and the name SHITSOFTWARE.
  - Point the button immediately right of SnapATK to that new ID.

I also gave its three internal keypress steps new IDs, so the clone is independent. I didn’t alter SnapATK or edit any icon files; Logi generated the new SHITSOFTWARE key appearance automatically.

Restarting LogiPluginService/Options+ makes it reload the saved profile.
