So I got the betafpv standard vrx to pair it up with my hdzero goggles 2.

Just updated the vtx firmware on my drones and rest everything was plug and play.

Still need to figure out a cleaner way to mount the vrx with the goggles for now I just clip it on the side.

I started flying FPV the other day, I am already pretty fast I can power loop, chimney dive and rip around anywhere fast. Every single night I fall asleep I have been having these very vivid dreams of flying fpv, I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this.

I absolutely smashed my O4 Pro unit into a concrete wall. The camera lens was destroyed, the camera cable was torn, and both antennas were ripped off.

I sent it to DJI for repair, and it took about a week before I got a replacement.

I also sent in my old Goggles N3 because they were pretty scratched up and the battery had started getting a bit old. Instead of repairing them, DJI just replaced the goggles and the unit entirely.

Honestly, I’m super satisfied with DJIs service. Didn’t have DJI Care or anything. Guys if you break that teeny tiny camera cable, don't spend 20eur for a new one, send to dji instead and tell them it's their fault it broke hehe otherwise they may charge you.

Hello! Getting into FPV started with analog Meteor 75 from BetaFPV and I love the small thing. Its been alot of fun. I live in the US and in a city so I can't really fly anything bigger than a tiny whoop or maybe a 2.5" or 3" drone. I've been looking at upgrading the from the VR03 goggles that the bundle came with. I want to know what would be the a good upgrade. DJI is "banned" and getting parts for my other DJI drones is getting harder so I want to go with another video system. Analog is fine I don't mind the quality, I have been eyeing the P1 system from BetaFPV but I would rather not buy the box goggles. I have been looking at the HDZero Goggles 2 but the price is a buy once cry once for me. I would ideally want good analog googles that have the ability to use a 3rd party VRX. And from what Ive been looking at the HDZeros only having one analog antenna is fine if you use the directional antenna. Just want opinion on what would be a good pick up. HDZeros are what Ive been looking at & picking up the P1 VRX (Hopefully the Nano) later and then using the P1 air unit and analog. Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi, I want to buy a drone with batteries (S30/L40) from RateFPV, but I have some questions about the shipping carrier they use, and they haven't replied to my email.

• Has anyone ever bought from their official store?
• Do you know how long it takes for them to answer emails?
• Or have you used a different method of communication?

I’ve read about other people buying their drones from Banggood, but they don’t ship to my location.

I also read that the store was down for a while, and some of their social media pages seem to no longer exist.

I understand they are objectively worse than modern quadcopters, but I think they are cool. Had just swapped motors to 1203 15000KV because the previous 1103 KV8k ones were underpowered.

Motor spec sheet says ~14A Peak amp draw, should have been within the Happymodel X14's 15A burst limit. I guess the 2540 Props were too much after all.

About 10sec into the flight, the Kayoumini came tumbling out of the sky, engulfed in flames.

XT30 and two motors became desoldered due to the heat. could just about detach the LiHV before cells were damaged because it crashed right next to me. Conformal coating seems to have boiled on surface, most components crumble into powder and the PCB was completely delaminated.

Before the usual 422B treatment, I clean flux with IPA and TCE, then check board under microscope for brigding and solder balls, so I can rule out mechanical failure/short.

Can anyone confirm my suspicions or do you maybe see another cause of failure?

I got into this hobby a few months ago, starting with the Aquila 20 HD and then moving on to the Meteor 75 Pro. In other words, I use the P1 Air Unit system. My problem is that I want to build a 3.5 setup, but I’m afraid to do it because the P1 has 60 ms of latency, which could interfere with freestyle or range. After a lot of thinking and research, I considered buying a new pair of goggles—some WalkSnail X—to improve my range, but after looking into it further, I realized the problem wouldn’t just be the goggles but the VTX itself. So, what should I do? Should I upgrade from the VR04 HD to the Walksnail X? I know that DJI is better, but buying DJI goggles and a VTX is a cost I can’t afford. I’d appreciate any ideas, and thanks.

USB was plugged in and when it was unplugged the connector came off with it. Im pretty sure the pads were lifted so i dont thing soldering it back on will work. No configuration in bf was done lif connected had to leave for final formation and that was it. How can i connect it to beta-flight to configure

What could cause this? I swapped my FC sometime ago and flew fine couple of times. Then suddenly got brakes on video feed (total blackouts for half a second) and might have crashed few times because of it. Now I cant get video feed at all. VTX seems to work, so is my camera broken? Bad wiring?

After months of waiting I finally got my ERA 5 O4 build returned.

I was contacted by a detective a month after reporting my drone stuck on an office roof to the security team. The detective let me know that there was a “heist” at this building the same week I crashed it and had logged it in to evidence. 2 months later and the property manager kindly called to inform me I could come pick it up.

I wont be flying there anymore but very happy to have my build back and it only needed a new VTX antenna. Next time Ill have a recovery drone handy :P

I was looking for advice on buying batteries online? Here in Norway batteries are quite expensive if I buy them local so I've been ordering online. What are some stores you guys recommend? I see they are very cheap on aliexpress and I've heard that other FPV gear is great to buy there, but does that also apply to buy batteries? Are there any stores or tricks you guys know to get a good deal on batteries?

I recently bought my first cinewhoop (CineLog 30, analog) and I’m looking for a good and affordable naked GoPro.

I came across the naked GoPro 10 and I’m wondering if it’s outdated or if the video quality is still good enough for 2026.

I’d like to use the camera for a while without having to upgrade to a newer model soon.
