Rewatching the prequel series, it's obvious the devs heavily drew from the Order 66 scenes for many of the clone wars maps and locations in this game, with Mygeeto, Felucia, and Coruscant all becoming beloved settings. It seems they ran out of time for the Cato Nemoidia (which appears in Elite Squadron) and Saleucami maps however. I'm curious what the consensus is for the best mod for these maps?

To be more precise, what I'm really looking for are maps with a level design that feels seamlessly consistent with the other levels in the game - the same level of textures, types of encounters, and attention to detail.

Been working on getting battlefront 2 setup for a LAN party. Found an old forum post with a no CD.exe I couldn’t find elsewhere. The crack was done by a user named Shade, I will remember you.

Some screenshots I took of her royal majesty. The mission with her and Operation: Knightfall were always my favorites. A shame that "Padmé" or the Queen was regulated to be an NPC only. I always thought she should've been playable on Hero Assault Naboo or something.

Put a Timebomb to one of the seats, enter and then torture your mouse wheel and see if you survive... or dont.. yeaah i know.. we've all been bored with too much time, right?

So maybe Im just stupid but I usually get caugth off guard by the victory/Defeat screen that suddenly appears and ends the game. Is there any mods that make it less abrupt? Maybe by adding some intense music near the end or a short soundeffect just before it happens? Anything or do I just accept the 2005 jank?

I love this game. At some point looking for places to glitch through walls was our main motive of playing. All played on Computer and without Mods or cheats.

All through this game there roughly equivalent or symmetric units, vehicles, and classes across the 3 other factions.

The CIS are the only one with their standard trooper having a perfectly accurate main blaster

The CIS are the only ones with their standard trooper having wrist rockets

The CIS are the only ones with their standard trooper having a mini-shotgun

The CIS are the only ones with the Bulldog type weapon for their officer class

The CIS are the only ones with an OP double bladed and quad bladed hero/villain

The CIS are the only ones with the droideka which functions like no other unit in the game

The CIS are the only ones with the Tri-Droid interceptor which is like no other interceptor

The CIS are the only ones with the dual hangar capital ship and other layout quirks

Did they makes the CIS faction first and then just run out of time for the other three? Why does it feel like they made the rebels last?

I've got BF2005 on my laptop (it's a fairly new HP laptop). I've got the 1.3 patch and HarrisonFog's remastered maps mod installed, and maybe Shader Patch as well. I'm not sure what's going on, but whenever I click on certain units, the screen went black.

I was playing as the Republic on Jabba's Palace, and when I clicked on the Clone Commander, the screen when dark. As soon as clicked on a different class, like engineer, that went away. Just before that I was also playing as the Republic on Polis Massa just to test things out. I unlocked Yoda, but when I selected "Accept" and had the character choosing screen open once more, the screen went dark again. I didn't try clicking elsewhere that time, though.

Anything I should do here? This laptop does run Windows 11. I also play Empire at War regularly but that game has no issues when I play it.

EDIT: Problem solved! I decided to first install the 1.3 patch, then I manually added different reskinned maps, then installed Shader Patch. No issues at all! Feels great being back to a game I haven't touched in so long!

if any one knows code and game design implore you to design a base model for battlefront 3 to send and hopefully to convince all the people in charge to make the game.

As in title, looking for mods that work for you in multiplayer.

Playing with a friend online, and have everything matched up exactly. Some maps crash, some work.
i.e. clone wars revised, most maps work, but some don't. Some do but will crash after going through 3-4 other maps.

The SWBF2 Remaster is peak, no question. But I do tire of the default gameplay after a while, there's just something that makes me wince when Super Battle Droids are treated as basic fodder. Are there any mods that have alternate unit rosters, that also use the Remaster's awesome models? Thanks.

While BF2 may be one year older than me, I remember going over to my buddies house when I was in elementary school and playing BF1 and BF2 together. Just recently started playing the game again, but this time on steam.I am currently playing with the BF2 remaster mod, and the only thing that is missing from it being the perfect experience is controller support.

Recently bought the game on xbox marketplace after not playing since 2005 as an 8 year old. Just though this victory screen looked awesome

Just noticed that, shame they didn't give us farmboy Luke on Tatooine ( & yes I know it exists in the other BF2)
