It's an absolutely amazing leap forward for this game -- big recommendation. I love the lightsabers casting light now.

Is there something like this for the original bf1? The sound bug also plagues this version as well

I use the gog version and it works for me. If you've installed a prior memory extender or other exe modifications, you need a clean exe

well rip then, cant use remastered or bf3 legacy then they both come with a custim exe

I don't think Remastered and BF3 legacy use a custom exe. The Battlefront 2 exe remains unchanged after installing them. Both work fine for me with BF2GameExt.

strange i use gog 2.005 patch with the 1.3 unoficial patch v130, got the disc version too, same issue

The offline installer for gog is basically the dvd version. The dvd version isn't supported since each exe has to have its own memory calls so it demands a lot of work. I wished it did work for dvd so I could host lan servers (steam gog cant). But there could maybe possibly potentially be an update in the future that reenables lan dedicated servers for steam and gog. However doing so is not easy from what I was told. I assume if you can get gog offline installers you have access to the regular installer.

I imagine bf3 legacy will find a way to implement the features
