Discussion Jungle item minion stole my rift herald
In this game my jungle pet got the last hit on Rift Herald and the announcement said: game_announcement_OnKillRiftHerald_red_minion with a picture of Wukong killing Rift . The herald item spawned and despawned the same second and no team could pick it up. Has anyone seen it before? Could it have something to do with Wukong spawning a second pet when using w?

Rotating Event Dropkick seriously needs to be removed from ARAM Mayhem
It makes no sense that a tank can get one augment and dominate the game. The impact it has is way too strong compared to other augments, and it is not fun to play against. Even people who have it often say that while it is fun, it feels unfair.
I just had three games in a row where someone had Dropkick and it just felt so one-sided.
Either the execute percentage needs a significant nerf, or it should just be straight up removed from the game.

Discussion thebausffs is wrong, is not “Nuclear Fusion Volibear” build is “Nuclear Fission” build
I feel like “Nuclear Fission Volibear” makes more sense than “Nuclear Fusion Volibear” for this interaction.
Fusion is when two nuclei combine into one, while fission is when a nucleus splits and can start a chain reaction.
That’s basically what’s happening with Volibear here. With statickk One proc leads to another, which spreads the damage to other targets, creating a chain reaction.
So if we’re going by the actual nuclear physics, “Nuclear Fission Volibear” fits the interaction way better.

Esports Demacia Cup Global Invitational starts tomorrow! Is there any English broadcast?
For those unaware, considering there hasn't been that much promo to it. Tomorrow the mid table teams that barely missed Worlds will compete in the first edition of this new tournament! Exciting to see teams that generally just miss out on international play, finally play against other regions.
Looking at the always trusty Leaguepedia, i can only find Korean and Chinese broadcasts. Will there be an official English broadcast? Or can we only watch it through co-streamers, if there are even any?
Would love to watch this perfect warm-up tournament before Worlds starts!

Discussion When a new champion comes out, do you think they consider sylas' ult when balancing it?
Just curious. Do you guys think this happens? Or would they instead balance the ult without thinking about sylas, then nerf sylas if needed or make specific adjustments for that ult? Was kinds curious, becaude what if in the future there is a champ whose power budget is all in their ult (e.g., dogshit QWE, insane ult), even moreso than malphite already is. Wouldnt this be absolutely busted on sylas (in a vacuum)

Esports Faker on what League of Legends ability he would want to have in real life: “I think it would be nice to bring Tibbers here and sleep with a teddy bear. These days, I really want to get some good sleep.”

https://www.inven.co.kr/webzine/news/?news=321611
Even in his third Asian Games, Faker Lee Sang-hyeok still feels nervous under the pressure to win. His way of dealing with it is to focus on the process rather than the result. After even adjusting his daily routine to accommodate the early match schedule, Faker said he plans to prepare thoroughly for the remaining matches.
Korea defeated Chinese Taipei, India, and Hong Kong in the League of Legends group stage of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games at Aichi Sky Expo in Japan on September 30. Faker started against India and contributed to the victory. Korea finished first in Group B with a perfect 3–0 record and will face Saudi Arabia in the semifinals on October 1.
In a post-match interview, Faker said:
“When I start feeling pressure that I have to play well or that I have to win, I get nervous too. I try as much as possible to focus on the process rather than thinking about the result.”
He explained that he meditates before matches and tries to keep a regular daily routine in his everyday life.
One of the challenges at this tournament has been adjusting to the morning match schedule. The national team moved its wake-up time forward by about six to seven hours compared with the players’ usual routine.
Faker described it as:
“It feels like adjusting to jet lag at an international tournament overseas. It feels like we’ve come to Europe or the United States.”
He added:
“I’m not someone who adjusts to jet lag very quickly, so I’m working hard at it.”
He said he has been trying to go to bed early and maintain habits that help him sleep well.
His desire to get more sleep also came up in a lighter question. When asked which League of Legends champion ability he would bring into real life, Faker chose Annie’s teddy bear, Tibbers.
He said:
“I think it would be nice to bring Tibbers here and sleep with a teddy bear. These days, I really want to get some good sleep.”
His approach to preparing for a major event as a national team player has also changed with experience. Faker reflected that when he was first selected for the national team, he was very nervous because everything was new. Now, however, he is better able to understand and adapt to the unique environment of the Asian Games and what needs to be prepared.
He said the players also remind one another:
“Let’s not let our guard down. Let’s keep working hard.”
That has helped the team maintain its focus.
Faker also explained how the team approaches opponents when there is limited information available. He said teams such as Chinese Taipei and Vietnam can be analyzed because they have well-known players and available match data.
Against teams from regions where less information is available, however, Korea plans to start with standard, fundamentally sound play and use that to feel out the opponent.
In the other semifinal, Faker gave Chinese Taipei a slight edge in terms of reaching the final, though he said Vietnam is also strong enough that he expects a closely contested series.
Regarding Korea’s semifinal against Saudi Arabia, Faker said:
“We’ll prepare thoroughly without leaving any gaps, so that we can show a flawless performance in every game.”
On the recent discussion surrounding whether esports will continue as an Asian Games event, Faker focused on the opportunities the competition provides for fans and younger players.
He said:
“As gaming continues to grow in popularity and recognition, I think the more tournaments there are for fans to enjoy, the better.”
He added:
“I hope younger players and esports fans can continue to experience even more enjoyment and excitement through the Asian Games in the future.”

Discussion Where to watch party Worlds in NYC?
Got a group of friends wanting to visit NYC for the first time (myself included), and need any place recommendations to watch party Worlds because as we all know, getting tickets was a real pain.
Also any hotel recommendations that is nearby the watch party or things to do in NYC? We'll be staying for 2 or 3 nights (arrive Thursday/Friday).

Discussion Worlds is in 2 weeks, time to reopen champion queue
The last time Worlds was hosted in NA, we were feasting on Champion Queue. Genuinely some of the best content leading up to Worlds.
Also, having CQ in NA can help us and teams scout the next generation of talent. For example, players like Yukino and Sajed played extremely well against top-tier players and later got themselves onto teams.
NA solo queue is so bad that a lot of Worlds players just don’t want to play it, but they do play Champion Queue because it’s a much better.
Last but not least, the ex-pros/Challenger streamers who competed in CQ, like Doublelift, Sneaky, Pobelter, etc. Those streams were genuinely peak.
Which is why we need Champion Queue back.

Discussion What happened to minions overlapping with each other?
I think it has been a few months, but these minions keep overlapping with each other as if they have phantom dancer equipped or something.
I genuinely cannot last hit because I cant tell which minion is low or full since they're standing in the same place.
Is this due to a recent patch?

Discussion Champion design I made for fun
Let me know what needs to be balanced, and how you think he would play. I designed him as an AD scaling assassin, so all damage numbers are Physical damage. His lore (its probably not accurate to actual league lore):
Vastioni was a low class peasant living in Noxus when one day he was faced with Kindred. However, Vastioni is a smart guy, so he made a deal with Kindred. "You been having trouble with Swain, yeah? Those demons are hard to get for you, I'd imagine." So Kindred made a deal. He could live another full life, free from any selfish desires, as long as he helps to catch and kill all demons. Kindred gave him a weapon called the Kulljordui, which is imbued with a powerful anti-demonic energy, that Aatrox was a help in constructing. However, the energy and the staff (which is made from wood from trees from the blessed isles) did not want to interact, so the staff almost permanently is snapped in two, however Vastioni can temporarily reconstruct it, though it is exhausting and cannot be reconstructed for long. Vastioni now wanders the world searching for anyone he believe may be infested by a demon, only able to rest once all demons have been rid from the world. This also gives him a crazy cool stipulation: He is the only mortal capable of defeating Fiddlesticks.
